Pizzeria Moretti Griffintown

The food is mid but the service is mediocre and one of the waiters there was really rude to me. I tipped her 10% (personal reasons-also the service not exceptional), she saw me type it in and SNAPPED my card out of the machine, and asked me to change my percentage, not even asking for it politely. I worked as a waitress before and I’ve never acted like that. That is very rude and unprofessional.

Amazing place. Pizza, pasta, and tuna tartar were fantastic and fresh. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience

The food at Moretti was amazing for my first time. The service is excellent, but it can be a bit longer when the place is crowded.
The only 2 points that I would improve. First one to lower the music with maybe a little because we can't hear anything when we talk we have to raise our voice, imagine all the client has to do that.

Also, when you take the burrata plate as an appetizer (Taste like heaven), you need to request bread as they don't bring it automatically.

Nous venons de sortir du restaurant, la nourriture était tres bonne malgrès un bout de plastique dans mon assiette mais alors le service.
Nous n'avons jamais mais jamais vécu une expérience de service aussi horrible.
La serveuse nous a juste arraché la machine des mains de manière tellement violente. Rien ne mérite un traitement pareil même si le montant du pourboire n'est pas à votre goût.
C'est tout simplement une honte. Nous pensions revenir mais maintenant c'est sur que nous ne reviendrons pas à notre plus grand regret. Gardez les chefs mais changez les serveuses.

Went with my wife to try it out, the quantites are ridiculously small for the price and quality, 38$ for 15 tortellini what a scam. They will charge you for water because they serve "fancy" water. Any culinary restaurant is required by law to provide fresh water for free.

The waiters are very rude and with short patience, they will literally force a 15% tip on you even though you don't like the service. Tip is not a requirement, it's deserved and it comes with good service. Plus the employees riddle the grounds with cigarette buds.

Just about everything on the menu is exquisite. The Branzino (Chilean Sea Bass) is excellent. Generally frequented by a younger stylish crowd, loads of fun for anyone, nonetheless. Salute!

Breaks my heart to say this, but just a shadow of what it used to be and definitely not worth it anymore. I used to order from here 2-3 times a week for 2 years and there was nothing I would have rather eaten in Montreal. Had a dine in experience recently, food and service were awful. Seems like the quality of their ingredients also downgraded big time.

Mac and cheese qui ressemble à de la sauce rosée. Pâtes pas assez cuites (y'a al dente pi ya pas cuit!)

Serveurs pas contents d'être là.
Pas de suivi par les serveurs au courant de la soirée.

Portions were well sized, dishes came out fairly quick. Pasta dish was tasty and very filling. Our waitress was great and always came to make sure everything was going well.

Went for date night. The food was nice and the drinks were lovely, but it felt a bit cramped for Covid times.
Will definitely come back to try the pizza, but its a bit pricy for what you get in terms of pasta. Good but not amazing.

Had a great experience, food and ambiance was great! Our waitress Pamela was super nice and the bus boy Guillaume gave us the best recommandations for the pasta!

Over rated.the music was too loud. It's a place where all the pretentious people in Montreal hang out. The food was ok but our calzone was cold and soggy.
If you are ok with the waiters and staff not following covid protocol this is the place to be. Everyone literally on top of each other.no social distancing.cooks and some waiters not wearing mask properly. What a zoo.

Visited about over a year ago, but waitress seemed annoyed and spilled red wine on my light pink blazer without apologizing.

Belle ambiance pour prendre un verre entre amis ou en couple. La musique d'ambiance est forte. Le décor est beau et le service es numero 1. On a bien été guider dans nos choix! La pizza à la burrata à été une des meilleurs que j'ai goûter! On a partager nos assietes et les portions étaient parfaites.

A place to return. Nice ambiance. Food is very good quality. Fresh and italian fusion. Truffle pasta octopus and lamb chops are my favorites. Pizza is miammi. Service and staff are earthy and beauty

My girlfriend had been wanting to go there for a long time and we had finally gone to try it last week. The food was really good but the spacing for covid was trash. Less than 2 meters from other people. Crowded and full. They initially placed us under a table that had a leak from the ceiling and a puddle on the floor. They did move us immediately when we asked to be seated somewhere where there isn't water dropping on you however not long after they placed two other people in that same spot rather then not using that area. Good food just wasn't genuinely impressed.

The service and food was excellent. The entrees and the main course was brought quickly and well spaced. Could not have asked for a better night out with friends for a good meal.

Food is way over priced for the quality and the service they offer. Tables are far too near for the Covid times. Mind the salt.

This location is off the beaten path for most tourists in Montreal. But it is worth the trek. It may be the best pizza I have had in all of Canada. I also ordered a caesar salad - I would pass on that next time. It doesn't matter though, the pizza was incredible.

We had an amazing time tasting several dishes and enjoying each one of them.

Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

I LOVE this place! One of my favourite spots in Montreal!
The ambience is really nice with a great vibe.
The service is really good and they were very helpful and encompassing when we made our booking.
The food was really good, we had SO much food it’s ridiculous. Went there for a birthday celebration and we really enjoyed.
It’s a bit on the pricey side, but with the price comes amazing quality and really good taste.
The Arancinis are a must have appetizer, and the Nutella pizza is a must have dessert.

I had a great experience. The ambiance was great, the staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and on point and the food was amazing. I had dinner for 2 at 6PM and left around 9. I could tell the night crowd was arriving and the place was turning up when I was leaving. I would go back it was a great atmosphere.

Amazing pizza tasted very good and original. I made a mistake with my order and They remade my order on the house. Great service and very fast.

Delivery experience: ordered patate e cipolle pizza and fettuccine All'Astice. Both were perfect and great portions.

Delivery #2: I tried the Moretti pizza and it was perfect. The big juicy shrimp are accented by the spicy njula. My friend tried the All'Astice and it was just as good as when I got it.

The reason this place loses a star is the lazy presentation of the cannoli dessert.it literally came in a paper coffee cup with the brown plastic cover. Didn't look like much when opened either. It was pretty delicious though.

Went here per-pandemic, they tried to charge us for tap water I argued with the manager until it was removed from the bill. Haven’t been back and won’t be going back.

Ordered Mac’n cheese on Uber eats.
I noticed pieces of plastic in my food and different pasta as well (probably from another dish).
I called the restaurant to warn them about the plastic as it could potentially be dangerous for other customers, I wasn’t calling for a refund or anything, just to warn them!
the person I spoke to on the phone said it was impossible and that I was making it up (I took pictures). He also blamed the Uber driver and said the guy probably added plastic in my pasta
This is all nonce sense but most importantly, the man is dishonest and doesn’t seem concerned about his customers.
Very bad experience

We ordered our pizza take out, we were 3 couples and we all enjoyed our choices. The food and ingredients were fresh, the service was fast. Yes, a little pricier than your average pizza but it was a good choice. *the Diavola was my choice

The whole family and friends went to Moretti pizzeria for dinner (9 adults, 2 kids (6 and 10 yrs old). The food was nice but a big frustration at the end. The restaurant doesn't offer kids meals/portions so we asked if the could do pasta with tomato sauce and they agree. It turned out that the charged the kids plates as gnoccies for $19 each. 2 plates of pasta for the kids for $38 and there was nothing special about it! We bought wine, drinks, appetizers and main courses. The waitress brought our bill to the manager for adjustment and the manager refused to change the price of the pasta! I was amazed about the bad customer service and poor judgement.really? Not caring and killing repeat business for $10 off (let's say)!

Amazing pizza and pasta. Service is horrible. Except bartenders. If service would on point, they’d be 4-5 star potential.

J’y ai été à 2 reprises l’année dernière. La pizza était ok. Mais quand je lis ce qui a été constaté lors du confinement, je peux m’imaginer la qualité et la rigueur derrière les portes de la cuisine. Pour cette raison, c’est fini à jamais pour moi à cet endroit.

A Eviter, aucune distanciation, le personnelle ne porte pas de masque. La personne qui responds pour prendre les rendez vous est est impoli.l'endroit est plus un bar qu"une pizzeria puisque leurs pizza est vraiment mauvaise.personnelle impoli et pas courtois.je donnerais des étoiles negatives mais malheureusement ca existe pas.

Me and my wife had a reservation to this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year anniversary at 6: 30 on August 25th.
After a one hour drive and paying for parking, we showed up to a closed restaurant with a sign on the window stating they had to shutdown since August 24th.
We were highly disappointed as nobody gave us a call to let us know about the situation.
We were truly looking forward to eating there for the first time.

Needless to say that our night was ruined.

The pizza is great, staff is very professional and of course the environment is just unique, any tourist should def visit Moretti, it has become iconic.

Je travail dans le domaine de la restauration depuis 9 ans je suis donc très demandante dans le service que je reçoit. Je peux dire que Jennyfer nous as servis et son service à été IMPECCABLE. Merci bcp on était une gang de fille assez demandante mais nous sommes plus que satisfaites. Les patrons détiennent une perle bonne soirée

Cet endroit se fou des règles de sécurité publique. Aucun respect pour les autres restaurants consciencieux qui s’efforcent de bien faire les choses. Le spectacle est triste à voir, vraiment.

How many bad reviews based on the owner before a change is made? Showed up at 5: 15 PM with my wife and fourteen month daughter and was refused because I didn't have a reservation. Not that it mattered anyway as they don't consider families important enough to have high chairs (in a very family oriented neighborhood I might add). This on top of the number of times I've called to order for pickup and was refused because they were "too busy". What a joke, this was the last straw.

EDIT: Down to 1 star after hearing that they were operating without any care for COVID protocols. The manager needs to go!
