Pizzéria NO.900 - Vieux-Montréal

Friendly service and cozy ambiance however the pizza is mediocre in my opinion.
Worth a try though.

The food is fine but the place is extremely small. A little cramped for groups larger than 4 really.

Delicious thin crust pizza with the most delicious freshly made tomato sauce I have ever tasted. All this served by unfailingly fun, delightful servers.always!

I always order the same thing across all No. 900 restaurants, but my recent experience was extremely odd!

The pizza dough was wet, the bottom burnt, the cheese was cold and unmelted which I believe they added it after the cooking? If you make a mistake while making the pizza, please remake it, don't serve me salvaged ingredients.
Server did not check on me otherwise I would have told him.
I also noticed they changed the minimum tip option to 18% instead of the usual 15%, yet the service was average.

I love No. 900 but I won't be coming back to this location.
If you want a good pizza dining experience, I suggest the No. 900 on St. Catherine street only a few minutes walk away!

Food was great had the burata, arancini is and a margharita for me and my wife. The short guy working there was very rude

I just ordered 2 pizzas and a burrata. They forgot to pack bread for the burrata and oil for the pizza. These items should always be included. I confirmed on their menu. I decided to call to ask why these items were missing from my order. The lady responded and confirmed that “yes, they are included with the burrata and pizza”. Then I was blamed for not…remind them…even though they are supposed to be included in the first place? They offered no solution or refund. Only passed the blame on me…because…you know…apparently I have to remind the restaurant how to operate. I would recommend to never order from here.

If the restaurant’s response is that they’re sorry for my experience, them being sorry is not a solution. This situation has happened multiple times now (them forgetting to include the bread specifically). If you mess up delivery orders for your customers (which are not cheap) there SHOULD be an actual solution offered and not just words of apology.

Soggy pizza and really slow service. You’re definitely better off going anywhere else for dinner.

Three hour before the closing time they said they were out of Dough, refused service and asked us to leave. This is when place was more than half filled and people were eating!

The interior of this place is a beauty. Only came here to dine in during the summer time when it was bright, but I’m sure it looks as nice during the winter. The restaurant looks small and crowded, but there is enough room and it’s pretty cozy and cute like this.

We also ordered for takeout with gluten free dough, and surprisingly it was perfect. The porcini pizza is so so so delicious. If you’re a fan of mushroom pizza, porcini is a must:)

Super service, les pizzas sont excellentes et originales, le cadre est charmant, chaleureux et bien décoré. Parfait pour un moment entre amis ou pour affaires.

J'ai demandé au serveur si on pouvait séparer l'addition en 2 et il a dit non sans donner de raison. Je pense que c'est faux, ou qu'il savait pas se servir du terminal. Pas cool dans tous les cas.

Visiblement, servir les clients ennuyait notre serveur, ce qui est surprenant étant donné qu’on ajuste le pourboire. Nos pizzas étaient moyennes car pas très garnies et pas assez cuites. Musique forte. Pas sure que j’y retourne… Et encore moins que je le
conseille

Pizzeria no 900 never disappoints! I normally take photos of my food but didn’t get a chance because I couldn’t wait.

The fig and pancetta pizza is my favourite, but all of their pizzas hit the spot. Great wine selections and the ambiance of all their locations is fantastic. Excellent pricing too for great quality food. Definitely my favourite pizza place in the city!

J’ai l’habitude de manger sur place, aucun problème et la nourriture est bien fraîche, notamment le tiramisu.

Mon problème est au niveau des commandes à emporter, c’est la 2ème fois qu’on me donne un tiramisu limite périmé avec un goût citronné très fort (direction poubelle), la 1ère fois je suis revenu au magasin pour faire la remarque, cette fois ça ne me tante plus de signaler encore.

Bien dommage de cette pratique de servir des desserts de la veille!

Lovely cozy restaurant, and good menu. Went in after had a reservation for 2, the place was kind of empty, it was 5pm. There was an extra person with us. When I said we were 3 instead of 2, the waiter said it was impossible to seat at a table, we were offered to sit at the bar. Fair enough. Pizza arrived and it was burned, I ate it because I was starving, and I actually mentioned to the same waiter. The other 2 friends' pizza were fine. When the bill arrived, no money was taken off for the burnt pizza. Lovely place, would be good to have a little less attitude

5 burnt dough (the corners + backside) : i was so disappointed. After talking about how delicious and authentic Pizzeria 900 is, all the family came from abroad and since few restaurants are really delicious in Montreal, I chose a new branch this time to try. You either taste burnt sensation or 1 ingredient (lemon for my sister's pizza choice). I wanted to impress the family and not even the manager or waiter came to the table to ask us about the food.

Les pizzas sont vraiment excellentes et originales. Le service est efficace et rapide c'est vraiment le meilleur compromis pour un repas de qualité en peu de temps.

Simplement dommage d'avoir supprimé l'offre déjeuner (entrée+pizza)

N'y allez pas sans vérifier l'horaire sur internet, celui affiché sur la porte est inexact.
Service un peu long et un peu confus lorsque l'on paye avec une carte cadeau, voir même refusé.
Pizzas malgré tout très bonnes

Bonnes pizzas mais toujours froides quand je prends à emporter. Ils avaient oublié 4 arancini sur 6 (qui coûtent quand même 13$ avant taxes) dans ma commande d’aujourd’hui, j’ai du me déplacer sur mon temps de travail pour revenir les chercher, mais je n’ai eu aucun geste commercial, pas très professionnel…

Très bonne pizza raffinées. Je recommande grandement cette adresse, personnel courtois et bonne ambiance!

Un superbe petit restaurant où la pizza est délicieuse, abordable et l'ambiance est extra! Notre serveuse était exceptionnelle ce soir-là sur la terrasse! Un rayon de soleil!

Absolutely fantastic. We had the arancini and the fig and pancetta pizza, both were to die for. The crust was a perfect blend of chewy and crispy and the toppings perfectly balanced the bitterness from the oven char.

The Vieux Port location is super cute and nicely decorated! I’m surprised I haven’t been here before. I was absolutely STARVING while waiting for my friends to arrive. We ended up getting the fig & prosciutto salad, the burrata and the margarita pizza. We also each had a drink, I had a funky orange wine that I enjoyed very much while my friends got a spritz. The fig and prosciutto salad was my fav, I love figs I love prosciutto what more could I ask for? ! The burrata and pizza was alright, nothing WOW but it did satisfy me and filled us all up! We all go cannolis for dessert, I had the orange and pistachio one and it was delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Affordable and cute place for dinner!

Good pizza and beer, friendly service, good location just outside the more commercially driven old quarter

Got the classic Margherita and wow.it was baked to perfection! Crust was the right amount of chew and crispiness, ingredients tasted very fresh. The chili oil brought this to another level.

Expérience parfaite les pizzas sont délicieusement bonnes et l’accueil a été chaleureux sans parler du dessert je recommande à 100%!

Service is nice and ambiance as well. But pizza had bits of burnt that overpowered the already bland pizza taste. Tiramisu was half frozen and very generic. I wonder if Costco ones are not better.

Overall food below average, at least price is reasonable with the ambiance and service made it 3 stars.

Edit: the owner answer is really professional and will surely go back in hope to give a better score.

Nice little terrace if you don't want to eat inside. The pizzas came fast. The special pizza was Jerusalem artichoke with house nduja sausage and pepperoni. The house nduja was the best nduja I've ever tried - extremely flavourful. Dough was neapolitan style, thin an soft with good char. My wife got the fig and prosciutto on gluten free crust. Very tasty but the crust was a bit too crispy. Cannoli was decent.

Bon - si la pizza était le seul repas que je devais manger toute ma vie, je le ferais! Ici, on mange bien, voire très bien! La pâte est tellement bonne / exactement à mon goût! Le service est exceptionnel! Les serveurs sont aimables et l'ambiance est agréable! Je suis vraiment chanceux de vivire à côté de cette Pizzéria! C'est pas bien pour mon porte-monnaie mais on s'en fiche! Un vrai plaisir!

We tried the Margherita, burrata and zucchini pizza. Was recommended by local hotel as one of the best pizzerias in the city.

This is one amazing pizzaria! We ordered 3 different pizzas and all were excellent. The chef seems to know how to do the crust and I was amazed of the taste. It reminded me of the locally appreciated family restaurants in Italy where the dough melts in your mouth and the flavours are superbly balanced. In addition, the salad and deserts were also very well curated.

Honnêtement le pire accueil que je n'ai jamais vu!

Avec une amie, nous voulions aller manger à cette pizzeria. Nous y sommes allées sans réservation et on nous a indiqué que pour avoir une place à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur, nous devions attendre qu'une place se libère (l'attente n'était pas le problème pour nous, alors nous avons commencer à attendre). Mais le problème n'est pas là! Après nous, il y avait trois personnes qui ont demandé à être l'intérieur et la serveuse a répondu la même chose qu'il n'y avait pas de place à l'intérieur, mais qu'à l'extérieur oui! Moment d'incompréhension, car 3 min avants, on nous a dit qu'il n'y avait aucune place intérieur comme extérieur! Donc la serveuse a du tout simplement faire à la tête des clients! Je n'ai jamais vu ça de ma vie! C'est d'une part malhonnête et irrespectueux!

Belle ambiance, service amical mais les pizza, bien que savoureuse, manque définitivement de garniture. La pizza aux légumes grillés avait seulement quelques morceaux de légumes lancé sur la pizza. Manque de finesse et de présentation. Dommage.

We really did not like our pizzas (overly salty, burnt with a whole in one of them, dry and too soft…) but the service was absolutely remarkable. Also, very cool and chill vibe inside, while the outside mini patio was definitely less comfortable and interesting.

Ordered with Uber Eats and forgot something. Canceled order immediately after to add the missing item and got charged for the whole canceled order because it was "already being prepared". If you are looking for food prepared at lighting speed, it's the right place, I guess.

We got this delivered so it may taste better if we had it in the restaurant. The pizza was ok. The dough was very chewy and it was kind of bitter. For the tiramisu, it felt like I was just eating cream and can’t taste any espresso favour. There is nothing special about the Cesar salad. It tastes like something that you can get at the grocery store.

Service hyper long, le personnel n'est pas du tout professionnel. La distanciation sociale n'est pas respectée. Certaines personnes du staff portent le couvre visage sur le menton.

Une grosse joke cette succursale. Dommage que quand le chat n'est pas la les souris dansent.

Delicious food served in a beautiful space. A gem in Old Montreal - an area where the restaurants are truly hit-&-miss. We enjoyed the speck appetizer and tomato salad. The sausage pizza was very good, while the fig & goat cheese pizza needed a bit more flavor. Pizzeria NO. 900 is great choice for a light meal and a glass of wine.

Selon moi, l'un des meilleurs restaurants pour manger une vraie pizza italienne. Le service est toujours agréable, et je n'ai jamais été déçue par les plats.

I've been in Naples, Italy, and have tasted pizza at DaMichelle and some other traditional and world famous pizzerias there. And what I can say is this guys know and do a very good job on recreating the legitimate Neapolitan pizza style! It is completely different from this "American-style-Italian" restaurant that we see everywhere in Montreal.
I ordered an Marguerita antics and my wife ordered a Porcini. Very delicious both of them! I also had a Etna Rosso red wine (which by the name I suppose is from Sicily) that was fantastic!
