Honestly after waitting 30 minutes of our réservation the owner offered us free pizza and calamars and shrimps very big respect for that, the service was excellent theres was always someone there more our needs. Best place to go thank you very much the the team sofia rosemere

Très bonne place pour dîner et souper. Repas de qualité, j'ai apprécié mon expérience lors d'un repas d'équipe.

Très bons plats, belle ambiance et serveuse très gentille. Par contre, un peu cher … il faudrait qu’ils revoient leurs prix.

C'est vraiment délicieux!
Je suggère aux couples d'y aller en semaine, l'ambiance est plus conviviale. Si vous avez la nostalgie de la pizza à Napoli, vous serez comblés!

Ont nous a facturer 2 bouteilles d'eau 15$ ont c'est faite remboursé. J'y remet plus jamais les pieds

Service tres bien! Notre belle serveuse etait bien aimaible et attentionnée. Pizza champignons ok!
J'aurais aime accompagnement avec le tartare.un peu bruyant par moment.
Les gens y retourne souvent ils sont reconnus.

Honnêtement la pizza était froide et aucun goût (manque d'épices). Nous avons pris une pizza pepperonni fromage et ça goûtait rien sauf la sauce tomate. Les frites étaient molles et froides encore une fois pas de goût.

Par contre, service rapide et on nous laisse tranquille pas de pression pour partir. Nous avions pris une sangria rouge et très bonne avec des portion bien remplie et généreuse.

We've been going to Sofia for years and we are always happy with the food, not so much the service, but sometimes the service is good also. Food has always been great. I do still think they might have the best pizza around but our last experience was terrible and it will be our last visit.

The prices are very high but quality is good so we usually dont mind more expensive places as long as the food is good but we got charged 95$ for a rib steak. I don't mind paying but that is abuse. They are exaggerating and at this point taking advantage of people. The most expensive and best steakhouses in Montreal don't even charge close to that kind of price for a simple Rib Steak. I felt offended. Again we couldn't care less about spending money. We are financially well off. But this is more about the principal. I don't like getting ripped off. A steak and a few appetizers cost over 300$ with wine. By the way they charge over 4X the SAQ price here. Ridiculous.

Very disappointed. It has become too snobby and pretentious.

Still, if you have nothing to do with your money and don't care about getting charged more than anywhere else for anything at all, the food is still great. You'll enjoy it.

Went to sofias recently. SERVICE SUCKS! Demanded tip. Very rude service. Discriminated me because I am anglophone. Never eating here again.

Atmosphere is fantastic. Great looking people and good service. Mike is a great manager who's constantly on the floor making sure things good smooth. We sat at the bar because all tables were reserved. Service still great. A couple of pizzas with cocktails is a little above a R. Borden bill. They had a live DJ right next to us.

Nous étions 6 à la table et incapable de se parler musique trop forte les gens à côté de nous criaient pour s’entendre c’était vraiment désagréable la pizza est bonne

Une fois Assi au bar personne ne ses occupé de moi, au bout de 20 minutes.le restaurant est loin d'être plein; il a fallu que j'arrête un des deux barman pour demander un verre de blanc Pino grigio ; en même temps je commande mon repas un filet de morue, qui arrive au bout de 1/2 heure; bon mais pas wouah, une foi mon repas terminer je demande la facture; facture de 71$ pour un filet de morue (40$) + le verre de vin blanc 22$ (largement exagéré) + taxes + le pourboire plus ou moins mérité 80$, la serveuse commence à s'intéresser à moi; ne me demande pas si j'ai bien manger, me demande ce que je fais dans la vie! Je lui répond: coiffeur, et me demande comment je trouve ses cheveux. Pathétique!

I went with my wife and the first thing I must say is this place is gorgeous! The lighting is perfect, very atmospheric and relaxed, the decor is elegant and the staff are dressed smart.

The food was exquisite! We had the best calamari I ever tasted. It was crispy, nicely seasoned and the squid melted in your mouth with no rubberiness at all! We also got a pizza which was super well executed with beautiful char spotting as one would expect from a wood burning oven, and we got the fungi pasta which was excellent as well. All the food was executed expertly and presented with class!

The staff here are top notch, despite it being busy when we went we never had to wait around for service and they were all very friendly. We were seated at the bar as my wife and I love sitting by the action so that may have improved the speed of our service experience compared to being at a table but they are well staffed so I don't have any reason to think it would be much different!

We had a truly wonderful time there and look forward to returning!

Cuisine bonne, mais 148$ (avec un minimum de 18% de pourboire) pour une pizza, 2 verres de vin bas de gamme et un plat de pâte, franchement allez dépenser votre argent ailleur!

Pizza is decent. Ambience is good for a night out with friends or r family. Good music at night. Food is pricey. Cocktails are 18$.

Service very good. We had Cesar salad and 2 pizzas. The food was delicious.
Our waitress is so nice, smiling very professional, my Martinis were the best.
Very good ambiance.

The menu is simple and diversified! My thing is to always order and test/compare the Margherita (which is a classic and the basic! Good place must masterize) to all italian/pizza places i go and i can confirm that Sofia is probably in my top 3!

Très bonne place qualité prix, la bouffe était vraiment bonne, l'ambiance était excellente, Service trop de stress pendant notre souper, chaque 2 min quelqu'un passe pour ramasser la table alors qu'on a pas finit encore de manger puis c'était 22h donc pk le stress si le restaurant ferme a 23h, j'ai fait une réservation 12h d'avance mais il fallait que j'attends 30 min debout en avant! Pk réservation alors?
Globalement une bonne place pour manger après le spa mais jamais avec réservation lol.

Very overrated. Very bad experience from beginning to end. First off, we were greeted by an unpleasant hostess who only said we have to be out in 1 hour and a half. The waitress was impossible to understand. The pizza was like a soup. The pasta was very dry and quantity was small. Sangria tasted like orange juice. The service was below average and why are there no Italians working in a supposed Italian restaurant. Extremely overpriced, would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

To reserve online, you need to put a $50 down. You dont show up you lose it. Really? The place was packed. The decor is nice. The place is overrated. The prices are overwhelmingly high. The service was good. Tipping starts at 18%. In the same category, there are other places with less $$ with same quality or higher. Will I go again? Not really.

Party of 3. All loved our experience. We had fried shrimp and calamari, the octopus and pizzas. The capriciosa pizza was amazing. Also recommend their desserts. We loved the lemon tart. The place itself is beautiful and happening. The staff was very nice. We were just a bit disappointed that our waitress was not able to explain the wine list that well and did not seem to know the wines but would still go back anytime.

Update: We went back since the original review many times and food and service was amazing each time. Some of my favorites dishes are the calamari, Grilled lamb chops, Burrata pizza. We love going there.

First time here and I’ll start off with the positives. The waiter was friendly and the service was good but he wasn’t really talkative but I guess because they were very busy. We started off with the arancini and buratta appetizers which were both excellent. I was also happy that they came with bread. For the main course we had the Diavola pizza and lasagna which were both good portions. The pizza was good but a little bit saucy and lacked a little cheese to my liking. The lasagna was decent, noodles were al dente, had a good amount of meat but was a little saucy as well and the sauce was a little on the sweet side. I’d give the food a 7.5 out of 10 in the end. Negatives very crowded restaurant, back on the service it didn’t feel like the waiter wanted to talk even though he was busy could have made an effort to make conversation. Last thing was the price was too high for what is was. I’ve eaten better for less than I paid for. All in all I would say it’s a good place to try for an experience or good for tourists but not somewhere I would really come again.

Musique trop forte, on s'entendait pas du tout, le service était courtois mais resto tellement occupé qu'il fallait répéter les demandes afin d'obtenir quelque chose

Question prix vous n'en avez aucunement pour votre argent. Tout est trop cher et les portions ne reflètent pas le prix. J'ai commandé les liguinni de fruits de mer, bon mais pas fameux. L'eau est payante mais personne va vous le dire donc il faut rester alerte tout au long du souper car ont vous en propose à tout bout de champ.
