First time here and stuff is really nice and welcome to introduce food:) Fried chicken is juicy and tasty, pork skewer flavor also worth to try. When I got there chicken skewer already sold out I will back to try chicken for sure

If you are looking pilipino products, this is the best place where you can find. The service is very good, and people are friendly.

P’Lengke is a nice Filipino store. They have a lot of different styles of snacks and good there from the Philippines mostly imported.

The food for dine in is decent. They have a good selection of ready made foods in front of you. Prices are reasonable especially you can order takeout or eat in.

The store is a recommend for me and will visit again in the future.

The people and service is warm and Welcoming. The place is CLEAN with a lot of space.

The food in Karenderya is superb SAKTO sa PANLASANG PINOY. (This is my experience.)

Please, FOOD is RELATIVE. Kaya mag ka iba ng level ng alat o tamis na gusto ng bawat tao. Me kanya kanya tayo ng level ng panlasa.

The prices in the groceries are comparatively with in the market range.

As a Pinoy, the place makes me feel at home.

Excellent market and sit in restaurant in the area! When I visit the area, I always grab dessert here. The leche flan drink is THE best dessert there! If you haven't already, go check Plengke out!

Filipino foods available here! Halo-halo very popular, Bubble tea etc. Many food choices. Very affordable prices and staffs are nice, smiling and very accomodating.

We went there for the first time today. First the service was so good my husband made jokes with the young lady that owns the place they make you feel like family her tatay was really nice and funny. Now the food it look great and fresh but too much porc belly in everything really oily and potatos on adobo first for me but my hubby liked the potatos overall this is the best and and most friendly resto in montreal. We will be back make the bbq more softer its abit tough. Thank you for the great service

Horrible dinakdakan ever, I just bought it today and it's sad. The skin it's really saggy and it's very hard to chew, there's no way that you can chew I mean because it's like a plastic. They should tasted first before selling it. I wasted my $13.

While my background knowledge of Filipino food isn't too extensive, I very much enjoyed my lunch at PLENGKE. Mirena and her staff team were all very friendly - Mirena was great at answering questions I had and providing suggestions. The lunch combo (two items, rice, and a drink for $12) is hard to beat - it was rich, plentiful, and tasted good. While the food could’ve been served warmer, I’d come back to shop in the market and try other food from the lunch counter, especially their desserts!

My fam and I love this place. We just stumbled in.they love the bubble tea, I love the halo halo. Also the porc skewer and rolls are delish. You can also ask for a noodle (i.e pancit) and they will make it for you on the spot. My only suggestion would be to make sure to request the prices of your items before ordering, as we too were surprised when we got to the cash.

You should really put peanut warnings on your cooked food. Especially if youre selling to the public PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put up signs over the dishes that contain or even may contain peanuts or peanut butter. More and more children are allergic or intolerant to peanuts. You can save lives this way. You couldve saved me a trip to the E. R.

The food is very tasty, well-cooked, large portions! It is a pleasant experience every time I go. The store is very clean, particularly their bathroom (clean & nicely fragranced) The staff are all friendly. I will recommend, anytime.

After the recent incident of my friend i would definitely not recommend.when she suggested that they should put allergens sign up their first question was are you Filipina? ! Disgusting they were condescending and told her it’s her job as a Filipina to know what’s in the dish even if the dish is traditionally not made with peanuts they refused to apologize and their “supporters” went on Facebook and attacked her in Tagalog & me as well & then deleted the Facebook accounts disgusting customer service with no apology issued after almost costing my friend her life.

If I could give zero stars I would.

After hearing about the recent incident, all I can say is terrible customer service, very disrespectful. There are other filipino restaurants that serve better food and have top notch customer service than they do. Please avoid this place….

They claim to be "proud to be filipino" but are, however, quick to bring down a fellow filipino when they simply asked for them to put up a sign that their dishes may contain allergens - which is, the bare minimum, really.plus, they cannot even be helped to do it without taking unnecessary offense to a highly, reasonable claim.a toxic environment that won't own up to their mistakes, refuse to be held accountable and would rather victim-blame than apologize and learn from errors.do better.

I ordered pork barbecue and it was still raw inside not only that the food was very salty.

And every time I passed by there’s always that one worker who never wears their masks and talking while holding the food. It’s quite disgusting if you ask me. I don’t know if that person was the owner but was the only one not wearing the mask or worn it improperly. You’d think that they enforce to wear a mask in the store but clearly can’t follow their own rules. It’s still a pandemic I don’t need the “chef” to have droplets of their saliva in my food. Also noticed that some workers treat non-Filipino customers with no respect. The same day when I got the bbq the worker was laughing with a coworker at the customer in Tagalog who clearly wasn’t Filipino about not knowing the dishes they served. So if you’re interested in Filipino food I would skip this place because they won’t be helpful at all. Just rude and disgusting, I will never recommend this to my relatives or friends.

An embarrassment to the Filipino community. Rather than accepting feedback from customers and improving the store's quality, they get on the defense and blame them for not knowing what's in their food. As a place that serves food, it should be a standard to include allergen warnings' sign!

There are other Filipino restaurants that are more inclusive and much more welcoming!

Une entreprise qui interagis avec de la clientèle et qui sert de la nourriture se doit de se conformer à sa clientèle. Un grave accident aurait pu se produire suite à un manque de signalement tel que “certains produits peuvent contenir dès trace de noix” aurait suffit pour éviter une telle situation.
Nous vivons dans un milieu diverse ici à Montréal, que ce soit un filipino ou pas, la race de votre clientèle ne devrait pas avoir une différence selon l’allergie qu’une personne peut avoir.
Une compagnie doit accepter ses erreurs, accepter les critiques constructives, et doit apprendre à s’excuser.
Je ne retournerais plus à ce magasin, beaucoup plus d’options filipino avec un meilleur service à la clientèle dans le secteur.

Bad customer service. They need to indicate that there are peanuts in some dishes. When someone complained about this, they simply said "if you're filipino you should know what the dish is made of. "

No warning or contains/may contains signs of traditional that recipes have been altered. I have family and friends who have many allergies to nuts, recently my friend had a reaction to the food sold here. They person ordered a traditional dish that normally does not contain peanuts, but Plangke’s version of the recipe did. There was no list of ingredients of the dish, nor any contains/may contains disclaimers. The person reached out politely to the restaurant, however they decided not to apologize but rather criticize my friend. The restaurant owners/staff got other people in the Filipino community to create fake accounts on facebook to bash my friend, and my friends supporters/followers. This situation speaks volumes on the kind of people that own and run this business. Embarrassed to have ever eaten here and supported these/this disrespectful, inconsiderate and terrible people/restaurant. Never eating here again.

One of my friends has a severe peanut allergy, they ordered a dish not knowing that it contained nuts and there were no labels or warnings on the menu regarding the continents of the dish, she obviously had a reaction when she took a bite, she later then reached out to the restaurant and simply requested them to put peanut labels/warnings on the menu, in return her Filipina heritage was questioned and she was treated extremely rudely by the employees that replied to her concern, to the point were you would consider it harassment. Absolutely disgusting and disturbing.

It is very unfortunate that my friend’s sister had to go to the E. R and I repeat the E. R because they did not put any peanut allergy signs. When the issues was addressed they turned it back on the affected client by saying that as a Filipina they should know what gets into the dishes with NO APOLOGY at all.

Horrible customer service. They almost put my friend with a peanut allergy in the emergency room. At the time I am writing this, they presently do not have any labels in directly front of their dishes stating what each dish is. They also do not have an allergen warning sign either (e.g. Peanuts). They assumed that because my friend is Filipino, she should have known better. Instead of correcting the situation right away with a simple apology, they chose ego over constructive criticism. How can you trust a business who behaves and attacks paying customers like that? Paying customers are what runs a business. If you want a successful business, you will need to meet customer satisfaction.

People were very friendly and explained the contents of the cooked food to me (I am not Filipino) Store was spotless and had good variety of products, prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back for more. My only complaint was that I would prefer that they stay open a little later, I had to rush to get there before they close. I would gladly recommend it to others.

First time in the store today. Bought tender juicy hotdogs, polvoron, balut, ube condense milk, kakanins, fried chicken, isaw at veg rolls. The store is clean and staffs were friendly

Very disappointed in the way they handled a recent situation. I hope to be able to change this review if it is resolved in a proper manner. I also hope for a better and healthier community, because a lot of the comments from Plengke supporters were victim blaming.

There's no place else to go if you need anything PINOY! We are so happy that they opened up down the street. It is so convenient to shop as they have everything. From Bakery, meat shop, groceries and a restaurant. A-ONE-STOP-SHOP indeed!

Not the most welcoming of places (lack of greeting). However the establishment seems clean and clutter free. But its there food that I found it great. I had there Kilawin, Bistek and Barbecue. All dishes were great, that definitely I will be returning for more Kilawin. There Barbecue is also big portion slice where 2 sticks of those add some rice and your set. Strongly recommend to give this place a try.
