First like to say I love Police Officers. I have worked for the Ontario Provincial Police a.k. A OPP. That being said the Police in Châteauguay DO NOT excersise SAFE driving practices.
Tonight I was riding my bike on the sidewalk going North on Rue Maple, just next to the Police Station. My bike has Two front lighs, one is 1000 Limen, the other about 800 lumen (this is brightness level). I have a REAR light also of good quality. Being a cyclist /pedestrian by law I have to have THE RIGHT OF WAY.

Yes, but NO. There was a Peace Officer drving a Doddge Charger coming out for his shift.

He failed to look RIGHT and was going to run me over!? !

You ALWAYS, always - look in Both directions.

This is what the law states and this is what I have been taught.

Please guys, re-educate your drivers/police officers ers.

Transports ordinaire, le chauffeur étais pas très cordiales, de plus arrivé aux lieux pour faire un séjour inoubliable les toilettes ne fonctionnaient sûrement pas il mon demandé de faire dans un petit pot.point positifs il mon gardé plus longtemps pour couronner le tout en beauté les animateurs pose sans arrêt des questions relativement personnelle je ne recommande pas?

They gave the wrong parking ticket and when i went there twice they didn't help me at all saying that they are "busy". Very unprofessional

I call them and they didn't even show up. They are late and still not here. At this moment someone could have maybe die. I'm disappointed in their service.

When I had to call Police de Chateauguay last week when in a bad and weak situation, two policemen came, they were respectful, helpful and professional. The most important quality I found on them are intergrity. It is hard to use words to express my appreciation, only thing I can do is to use the online opportunity to say "salute" to them, they are Perron and Boivin. I also want to say "thank you" to the police officer who answered my phone, even I don't know his name, he has talked to me nicely and patiently.

Their services are appreciated. Emergency or not they're there and they take the time to answer all of your questions and do follow ups. Chateauguay's officers have been courteous, professional and respectful throughout my years living here with my family. Keep up the bike patrol, it's good to see you guys.

Very helpful everytime I've had to call them, emergency or not.
