La cuisine etait excelente. Le service etait dans la moyenne. (j ai prit une comande a emporté) l ambiance netait pas bonne le patron est trop dure avec les employee et cela ma mis mal a laise de le voir les traité comme sa.

Leur poulet et leur sauce piri-piri sont délicieux. Les serveurs sont forts sympathiques. Les prix sont bien. On y soupe là à chaque fois qu'on va à Gatineau/Ottawa.

Great flavours and quite filling.
The piri-piri is tasty and brings a lingering mild heat. The chourico has a bold flavour and follow up heat.

Portugalos is fantastic and very authentic.
Honestly, it’s better than many restaurants in Portugal.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The food is delicious. I had the meat variety dish and it was fantastic. The Portugalo coffee is so tasty.
Like any good Portuguese restaurant, they have have olives for the table, but you do have to ask.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming.
The washrooms are well maintained and clean.
Very upscale and very affordable. I will definitely be coming back.

One of the worst lunches i have had in all my years. The bread arrived cold and hard. The bread was frozen baguettes and we had to ask for new bread and the replacements were not fresh as best.

The steak was overcooked and the mash potatoes was a blend of betty crocker powdered garlic mash potatoes with some real potatoes. The second steak was cold and chewey. The vegetables were undercooked and one of the soups was burnt and oversalted. The food also took awhile to arrive. Benefit of the doubt would have been given if the restaurant was busy…it was empty.however.
Environment: 2/5
In terms of ambience, the same piano tracked down played for the entire time.
Service: 3/5
The only saving grace was they offered a different dish to take home which was much better then the dine in.
Conclusion: 1/5

Excellent food and service! Great food! The owner is very nice and takes the time to talk to you. I enjoyed it and will be back!

Wow! Fresh and delicious authentic Portuguese meals! We had the seafood “ship” for couples and I highly recommend it!
They have hard working and amazing staff, and the owner is also very welcoming!

Entered the restaurant and were greeted right away, offer to choose any table we like. A fresh linen table cloth was placed on the table. Our drinks were severed quickly and chilled to the perfect temp. We ordered several dishes Caldo Verde was very impressive so delicious. We had the chourizo sausage for an appetizer served in the little happy pig dish, with our soup. This is authentic Portuguese cuisine. Absolutely the best Peri Peri sauce I have ever tasted, FYI you can buy the sauce at the restaurant to take home. Being married to a Portuguese man, this food is just as good as home cooking only better because you don’t have to make it or clean up after. Our experience was so amazing i only wished we lived closer to enjoy this restaurant on a routine basis. Thank you so very much for a wonderful evening. Obrigado

Très très long comme service. Je suis arrivé à 13: 15 et sorti à 16: 30 juste pour une soupe et le bitoque et un café. En plus pour le café on m'a servi de la crème 35% au lieu de la crème à café 10%. Le monsieur (propriétaire) a pris ma commande mais pas de choix de demande comment je préfère le steak, c'est le cuisinier qui décide et la crème à café c'est la seule sorte.comme réponse.

La nourriture est excellente et le serveur était très sympa. Il avait le sens de l'humour et blaguait gentiment avec mon fils de 11 ans. Les poissons et fruits de mer étaient délicieux.

2ième fois que nous entrons et ressortons sans même prendre une table. La mauvaise senteur d'humidité nous prend droit au coeur et de voir les fenêtres suaintér autant nous fait comprendre que c'est bien ça le problème. C'était un samedi, 17h30 et pas aucun client. Ça regardait pas bien en tout cas. On a aussi apprit que c'était à vendre? Dommage car nous y allions les années passées et ce problème de senteur n'y était pas. Bonne continuation.

We especially enjoyed the efficient but not rushed service. Everything was prepared and presented well. The tables are placed comfortably apart so one can relax and enjoy the meal and the company at your table.

Excellent ambiance, plats délicieux, service hors-pair. Ils ont même concocté un repas savoureux pour mes besoins alimentaires.

Belle découverte! Les poissons sont très bien apprêtés, les viandes et sauces sont exceptionnelles. La table d'hôte vaut vraiment la peine, les dessert et entrées (spécialement les moules) sont excellents.

We just had dinner at portugalos, what a wonderful experience! Food was amazing, service was outstanding, will definitely be back when in the area.
