Owner was hitting on clients like it was his job. The seats are arranged in a "modern" format that makes sitting together impossible while dangling lights hit my head at every turn and I'm not even that tall. Food was OK but the price doesn't seem to make sense. Large screen playing loud music with a video that doesn't match the ambience at all. The back wall is entirely made if cheap plywood ans when I was curious enough to touch it it almost fell apart from one gentle pull. Staff was attentive but didn't seem to speak English or even French properly. Seems like a fun place at first Glance but is understand why it was so empty

Normalement, même si j’ai une mauvaise expérience, je n’écris pas un avis négatif; on ne sait jamais 100% comment un commerce ou une entreprise fonctionne derrière le comptoir et le client n’a pas toujours raison. Cette fois-ci, je voulais juste laisser quelques commentaires, plusieurs petites choses qui ont rendu notre souper désagréable.
1) On nous dit qu’après avoir commencé à commander que le restaurant n’a pas d’avocats. C’est quand même un aliment présent dans 70% des sushis offerts, alors ça change pas mal le goût, la texture, etc. Totalement compréhensible que vous n’ayez pas tout en stock à tout moment, mais peut-être le dire au début quand on nous assoit?
2) Mon amie a des allergies alimentaires, les liste, et le serveur nous dit qu’il n’y a pas de problème, ils feront attention en arrière. Sa nourriture arrive et un des rouleaux a des ingrédients qu’elle ne peut pas manger. Elle le mentionne et le serveur répond qu’ils ont pris en compte toutes ses restrictions en arrière. Cela ne change pas le fait que c’est a) le mauvais rouleau et b) un sushi contenant des allergènes pour mon amie.
3) Le serveur s’excuse pour cette erreur et mentionne à deux reprises, quand il revient nous voir pour amener d’autre nourriture ou nous demander si tout va bien, qu’il espère que mon amie n’est pas fâchée, dans un ton qui oblige un peu mon amie à dire « non, non, t’inquiète ». L’erreur du serveur/de la cuisine n’était pas minime et le serveur était un peu condescendant.
4) La nourriture a été amenée à des moments différents, comme quoi moi et une de mes amis avions quelque chose à manger, et mes deux autres amis, non, pour un bon 5-10 minutes.
5) Le serveur était tout seul (le restaurant n’était pas très occupé, c’était un dimanche soir, mais pareil) et disait qu’il était assez nouveau comme employé. Il devait répondre à tous les clients; on étaient assis environ 2h30 en tout. On a dû demander des baguettes au lieu qu’elles soient offertes en même temps que les plats; j’étais la première à recevoir un plat et le serveur était occupé ailleurs, donc mon amie a spotté des baguettes dans un contenant et m’en a passées.
6) Les sushis en tant que tels étaient juste… corrects, genre mid ahaha. Peut-être que c’était le fait qu’il n’y avait pas d’avocats. Le poulet dans un des mes rouleaux était cuit, oui, mais rose? Le thon goûtait un peu vieux. Je considérerais revenir même si le service n’était pas à la hauteur des attentes générales, mais même la nourriture, ou au moins ma batch, n’était pas super. Mes légumes tempura étaient bons, par exemple.

Perfect Japanese restaurant! Loved everything and they are vegetarian friendly.
Had avocado rolls, veggie tempura and poke bowl. Everything was amazing. Server was also nice. Good place to grab lunch in Montreal

Nous avons commandé en livraison à domicile un plateau de sushis, hyper déçu, les avocats étaient noirs, le poisson sans saveur.
Et il y avait 6 sushis sucrés qui n'étaient pas dans la description et franchement pas bons! Bref déçues ; (

Très bon repas abordable et de qualité. Les drinks proposés sont très bons et beaux. Nous avons aimé notre expérience.

So we just called at 10: 29pm to ask if pickup was still available considering it’s 31 minutes before their 11pm closing time. The first person who answered said “ yes, the kitchen is open until 11pm, so order as soon as you can. ” Excited, we looked at the menu for 5minutes, and called back at 10: 36pm to give our order. However, the new person who answered the phone said that everyone in the kitchen left 5 minutes ago….

Belle configuration des lieux, ambiance agrémenté d'un téléviseur qui fait jouer des vidéoclips korean/japonais. Nourriture excellente et de bonne portion pour le prix.

J’ai passé aujourd’hui pour la première fois.
J’ai commandé de sushi et des crevettes tempura,
Tout était délicieux.
Le serveur était super gentil.
Sûrement, je retournerais une autre fois.

Une petite chose a améliorer: les crevettes étaient trop huileux, il a fallu mettre qlq chose en dessous pour absorber l’huile.

Probablement le meilleur restaurant de sushi que je suis jamais allé. Grand menu clair et varié avec des sushis classiques comme on les aime. Je suis allé plusieurs fois et on y mange toujours frais et on est toujours bien servi. L’ambiance est très agréable. J’ai déjà hâte d’y retourner.

This is the first bad restaurant experience I’ve had in a really long time. I feel like to survive as a restaurant post-pandemic, you gotta step it up - and this place was a total disappointment. We heard of Posher through their Instagram account and thought as a group of 5 girls to check out their Ladies Night. We walked into this empty restaurant and noticed instantly the vibe was totally different from what the pictures on Google portrayed. So here’s a recap of our experience; the 12$ special for Poke during Happy Hour was actually a sham, we were charged 14$ and even though we pointed out the price on the menu, online and that it was mentioned to us, we got a simple “oh, I guess the menu hasn’t been updated”. They didn’t honor the price as advertised. Secondly, they have wine, cocktails and sake on their menus and surprisingly had none of the wine I asked for and told us they had no sake. When we asked about the free shots on ladies nights, we were told no free shots since we weren’t enough in the restaurant to get the shots. When another group of girls walk in, they magically had sake shots and offered us a shot (we are wondering if what we drank was even sake). Let’s talk about my mojito, it was basically lime water, watered down lime water. The fried seafood platter we wanted was not available and their shrimp tempura, I am pretty sure it was frozen and deep fried, definitely not authentic in any way.
Positive note: my salmon poke bowl was good, I genuinely enjoyed it although I would have enjoyed it more if it costed 2$ less as I expected it to cost.
To top it off, and I hate adding more negativity to this already very negative review; we luckily verified our bills twice over once we saw the overcharge for the Poke and the ladies night 10% off, wasn’t there so we then had to get that refunded. Thought I’d go to the bathroom before our drive home for the sight of a horribly vulgur and offensively “painted” bathroom. This art was absolutely irrelevant to the kind of restaurant this is. To anyone who reads this, don’t go here please - there are so many amazing places in Montreal and this is not one of them.

The girls that get it, get it. And the girls that don’t, don’t. This restaurant is one of my favourites to take friends when I have control over where we eat. The set up of this restaurant is high camp, it’s so good that my friends say it lives up to the hype I give it.

This trip I decided to try something new, the - torched salmon poke bowl - and paired it with something classic - a ginger ale. I truly am in awe that I’ve never tried this combo because these are some of my favourite joys of life.

The restaurant is honestly something that I’m excited to show people. Literally where else could you eat great food in the unique atmosphere that is Posher

La première fois que je suis allée dans ce restaurant l'an dernier j'avais adoré mon poke. Cette année, par contre, j'étais déçue, le bol au saumon torché semblait manquer d'ingrédient, il n'y avait presque pas de "caviar", presque pas d'avocat et il n'y avait pas d'ailleurs de manioc et la laitue iceberg selon moi ce n'est pas la meilleur option dans un poké en raison de con manque de goût. Le service client était très bien par contre, les takiyakis n'étaient pas bien cuit (huile probablement trop chaude car l'extérieur était cuit mais l'intérieur froid voir congelé), mais ils ont accepté de le changer et c'était bon par après. J'y suis allé pour le midi, c'était super tranquile, et le restaurant m'a semblé propre et c'était une belle ambiance. J'aurais bien aimé que l'expérience au goût soit plus agréable. Donc, si vous êtes proche de l'endroit c'est bien, mais ça n'en vaut pas le détour si vous habitez loin.

I recently had the misfortune of ordering their much-hyped salmon poke bowl. To put it mildly, my experience was an absolute disaster. From the abysmal quality of the food to the unhelpful and clueless waiter, everything about this visit left me utterly disappointed.
Let's start with the poke bowl itself. I can honestly say it was one of the worst I've ever had. The fish tasted stale the texture was far from fresh. The waiter who served me was entirely unhelpful and seemed completely lost. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the dish, he offered no apology or solution. It was as if he couldn't care less about my concerns and told me that I had a “not proper behavior” when I asked to talk to the manager.

Really good food, nice decor and great vibe but the food takes really long to be served ; i waited almost 40 minutes for one salmon poke bowl when the place was almost empty
