Poutineville

Had the Montrealer poutine. Was ok. A lot of cheese. Had Jumbo toasted hot dogs; good as well. They use beef dogs. Fresh. Friendly efficient service. Nothing exceptional or remarkable. Won't probably repeat. Average experience.

My poutine was not too bad, the atmosphere is ok because we went out for a night walk before sleep and just want a small snack so we arrived there at 10: 00 PM and nobody. Siting outside on the patio at a nice night. Until the server came and tell me that I got charge $3.25 for sharing a poutine with my 2 cousins. We will never come back!

So we had a reservation for 30. This place handled it well. Food came out hot and wait staff was understanding despite the language barrier. If you can handle 30 americans/foreigners bum rushing you your a great place in my books.

Was craving a poutine and went there for a bite. It’s a nice, small place. Very cozy! My partner ordered the pulled pork and I the gyro. It was so good. When I saw the portion I was sure I was taking it home, but I ate it all! Our waiter was great, good attitude and quick service. Thank you. Will be back for sure.

Hier on est parti manger pour célébrer la fête d’un ami et de passer du temps ensemble. Le serveur était comme toujours bien. Par contre la raison est qu’on a découvert UNE CROCRELLE SUR NOTRE TABLE. Et le staff, ah on va voir ce qu’on peut faire… pas d’excuse, pas d’explication. Comme si c’était normal! Une plainte peut-être pourrait aider a ce restaurant, spécifique au Plainte pour insalubrité.

Service un peu long mais les Poutines étaient excellentes moi je n'ai pas pû terminer mon assiette mais j'ai pu emporter ce qui restait

The waiting time was super horrible, and at home I discovered I had the wrong order: (the poutine tastes good, but man they really need more staff! The price for that size of a poutine was a bit much too.

I have a serious disability but the staff and the owners are very welcoming and they take great care of me and not to mention, I really love the food! A special shoutout to the best servers Fauve and Chan, u both always make me feel welcomed and I appreciate everything u do to help me out, whenever I pop in for a tasty meal

One of your staff members (a woman with blonde hair and green eyes) gave my family’s poutine order to the wrong person shortly before we came to pickup our order. Upon us coming into the store and asking for the order, the server realized her mistake and screamed at my wife to “Go get your order from that guy! He took your order! Go! ”, “GOOO, your order is leaving”, and pointed to a man down the road. When we confronted him, he became confused and refused to acknowledge that he took our food. It turns out that your server pointed to the incorrect individual; the correct one came back later by themselves to return the food.

Accidents happen and sometimes food gets taken by the wrong person. We understand that, however we feel what happened at the restaurant tonight was completely unacceptable. Your staff should have either (1) ran out to confront the man themselves and fix their mistake, or (2) made us a new copy of the order. Instead, she screamed orders at us and put us in an uncomfortable confrontation with a stranger. We feel embarrassed that your staff made us follow her orders in front of the entire restaurant. We feel ashamed for accusing an innocent man of taking our food. Absolutely anyone would feel the same way, and there is no justification for your staff to treat us in that way.

We hope you consider how you would feel in our shoes and bring up this issue with your member of staff.

Probably one of the best poutines I've had. Got the international flavors. General tao and French. Great contrast. Good service.

Great tasting poutines. Ordered 3 with my sons. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is they screwed up with the crushed fries. Mixed up the orders. But it’s all good

I ordered a poutine through Ubereat. Waited forever. The driver sent me a message and told me the receptionist ignored him for a good 10 minutes. He served 3 other clients who came after him even if receptionist new my driver was first arrived. He even served another driver who showed up 10 minute after him. There was almost no one in the restaurant. Then the receptionist came by 10 minutes later to aknowledge my driver.to then tell him he forgot to start my order.he didnt told him how long it would take to cook my order either. My driver waited 15 minutes + and had to cancel my order due to having another client waiting for him from another restaurant (whom were way faster to serve him as well) My driver said he dont understand why the receptionist ignored him for 10 minutes as he saw him at the entrance from the start and even looked at him, served 3 people who came in after him.then completly forgot to even start my order above that. He also said the receptionist look very sleepy and unwelcoming. Like he was in a bad mood. A message to the owner. I think it would be great that you treat every order/client or driver as "important" as others. We, also spend money on your food therefore you should take our order as a priority and not ignore our order like that. Also, pls dont ignore ubereat drivers waiting for 10 minutes at your front entrance.espacially if your restaurant is almost empty. Also, pls dont pass other drivers before my order and pls accept an order as soon as you get my order. I'm not sure how hard it is to accept an order.but my driver said you only have to press 1 button usually on your app. Bringing 5 stars down to 2 stars. Rating may go up, or down depending on how you treat my next order. Thanks.

Énorme déception!
C'était pas une poutine c'était une soupe tellement il y avait de sauce! Trois grains de fromage qui se battent (et une présentation qui laisse franchement à désirer même si ce n'est "qu'une poutine").
Alors oui, en livraison la qualité n'est pas la même qu'en salle, mais il y a des limites! Je décide d'appeler de façon très courtoise pour signaler mon ennui et je me fais quasiment jeter par la personne au téléphone, qui m'a donné le goût de finalement laisser ce commentaire

Service was the best I’ve had in my life. Food was awesome too but the waiter honestly made the experience so much better.

Big issue where employees were yelling at me Friday night because I went to order food @ 1 am. Clearly it states you close @ 2 so I don't understand why the employees didn't like it.
First issue: I stood infront for about 7 minutes until I waved down the waitress where she started yelling at me telling me "I've had it up to hear today". Firstly why is that my problem. Secondly if your working conditions are bad, don't yell at the people that are paying for your salary, talk to your manager.
Second issue: I came back in 10 minutes later to find the people inside fighting with employees because they were asking for them to leave. The store was not closed yet. It was still 1: 30 am. I dont understand how leaving the cleaning of one table greatly affects their closing procedures. These employees were just being ***holes. What kind of staff kicks paying customers out before a store closes. How can you treat the people who secure your job like this?
Third issue: Finally I had to come back again because she didn't think to include forks with the order? When I came back I could hear her in the store screaming in anger and rage. She thought I can't hear her. She called me many slurs. I simply waited at the door until she came. Once she came I explained that she didn't provide forks. Which is pretty standard if you're ordering a poutine.

Therefore service was a 1 star. Food was 2 stars. My poutine had black burnt fries in it.
Employees don't understand that service is an important part of their job. Aswell I noticed, they're clearly miserable. 1) Management needs to provide better working conditions. Clearly they are understaffed. 2) However management also needs to give a training on how to treat customers. The waitress especially has some anger issues she needs to deal with.

I got maxical vegeterian poutine for pick up. I found it’s cheese curd but rubbery and didn’t like the gravy as well. All over I felt it was pricey and was ok.

Service was fast and they have some interesting variations on the poutine. Blue dragon was definitely a treat.

I would start from the menu. There menu has wide different ranges of poutine. You can customize it according to your taste. While having wide range of poutines, you can get poutine that represents your country.

When you ask any citizen of the world to associate a dish with Canada, and particularly Quebec; the answer is poutine almost most of the time. Poutine ville is one of these restaurants that is specialized in this dish, as its name indicates. Having tried a lot of different poutines; I can say that their poutine is good; a solid 7/10. It is not the best but the price and the portions are great.

Terrible service, to avoid! The staff is not as competent as before the curfew was lifted (feb-march 2021, went back in May and it was chaos during the weekend) & the service is pretty slow. Wasn't given the right order and it created an unnecessary argument The communication needs to improve amongst staff members. The sauce / gravy was not good, you can tell it was rushed or overcooked since it was gloopy/ sticky. If the sauce isn't good on a poutine, how can you possibly enjoy the meal? I mean? We are in Montreal after all. Please improve, even if management changes, it's unfortunate that a business loses loyal customers due to bad service. Very arrogant.

If you are ever in the city, please don't forget to visit this small restaurant and try their vegetarian and Mexican poutine!

We had gone there to day (August 15th) we asked for the popular dish.the nice kind lady suggested Montreal poutine.it was fantastic delicious portion was so huge. Good service super fast clean and nice.also nice server girl is so cute and nice. 100 % I recommend also the price is really responsible

It was good to visit this store after long time things are got changed as now we only can take oute no dine in such a nice place. Even now only two persons allowed to get in to order for takeouts. Mask mandatory.

What an excellent poutine! We are fans of just the standard poutine with cheese curds and gravy and this place was an amazing find. Prices are great and delivery is fast. Plus no plastic bags which is awesome! We liked it so much we ordered again the next week and for those that do like variety they have so many options to chose from you can make the poutine of your dreams!

The server lady was so nice? She gave us free drinks, and remade a salad because it had too much dressing (even though she didn’t have to). The experience was great!

The most delicious poutine ever. The place was really clean and tidy. We have tried the poutineville and Montrealer and both of them were great. Also, the waitress/cashier was really polite and even brought poutines out of the restaurant for us.

This was different from the poutine we had in Kitchener/ Toronto - much distinct & a nicer aftertaste

Mein absoluter Poutine Favorit. Man kann sich hier seine Poutine selber zusammenstellen und man bekommt für sein Geld eine super Portion. Es ist etwas teurer als in manchen andren Läden aber das lohnt sich wirklich. Wer in Montreal ist muss hier einfach einmal vorbei gehen. Am besten schmeckt es mit den Kartoffelstücken

They do poutine pretty well. They also have a liquor license of you want to have a drink. The world of poutines was interesting. I had the French onion one, it was surprisingly good after a few bites. It really has a French onion taste. The service was fast and they even let us sample the crushed fries.

Honestly there was nothing wrong with this place.

Poutine was amazing. Ordering system was very cool! You get a sheet of paper and check off the boxes of the toppings you want. Food came fast and was delicious.

J'ai pris une poutine régulière pour emporter mais les plan de ma copine et moi on changer alors nous avons demandé à la serveuse si s'était possible de se prendre une table et elle a hésiter à nous dire oui. Nous avons pris place et la serveuse nous a amené deux verres d'eau et c'est alors qu'elle a frapper les deux base des verres d'eau sur la table se qui fit éclaboussé les verres. C'est très désagréables comme agissement enfantin. Bref la poutine goûtait le brûler et il y avait des motons de sauce séché. Bref je ne recommande vraiment pas si je pouvais donner 0 étoile je le ferais.

Commande de uber eats: rapide et efficace, nous avons reçu notre commande à peine 30minutes après. Poutine pas très savoureuse.mais corect pour le prix de celle de base. En effet le prix monte très vite si nous souhaitons la customiser un peu plus.
Portions légères.ca fait juste, surtout quand on commande une large pour partager. Dommage!

We went here with a local telling us we really had to try poutine. I liked the dish, you can change all the ingredients so you have the dish you like. It's nice, not something I would advise to go to for business, but perfect for a quick bite with friends.

On était de passage voir un spectacle au Théâtre Fairmount, et nous (4 personnes) avions faim. Nous nous sommes rendu chez PoutineVille car c’était à proximité. Nous sommes rentrés et avons attendu un peu, sans problème il était 17h. On fini par avoir une table, et le serveur nous demande en commençant si nous voulions un verre. On réponds non merci poliment, et le serveur nous a regardé de travers. Menu en main, nous avions tous trouvé le concept intéressant, 3 de nous ont prit des poutines personalisées. L’attente a été courte, on a reçu nos assiettes. Après avoir commencé à déguster, nous avions remarqué que les 3 poutines avaient une erreur, les fromages n’étaient pas les bons. Encore une fois je me dit que le restaurant était plein et que des erreurs c’est possible. Nous avions donc arrêter de manger pour montrer les erreurs au serveur, mais jamais il est revenu, on a essayé de lui faire signe mais c’était assez évidant qu’il nous ignorait. Tant pis, on a simplement terminer nos assiettes car on ne pouvait rester trop longtemps. Même après avoir terminé on a attendu un bon moment avant qu’il remarque qu’on avait terminé. Je lui ai mentionné que les assiettes avaient des erreurs, dont que je n’ai pas recu le fromage bleu que j’avais commandé; pour me faire répondre; Ben pourquoi TU me la pas dit? Bête comme pas possible. J’ai simplement répondu je voulais bien mais que vous êtes jamais revenu nous voir, du coup il est reparti sans rien dire. En ramenant les factures il m’a avertit qu’il avait retirer le fromage (non reçu) de la facture, d’accord merci. Rendu au comptoir je lui ai payer en argent, il m’a rendu mon change, se retourne, aucun sourire, aucun remerciement, aucun désolé de l’inconvénient, aucun bonne soirée. Je sais même pas pourquoi j’ai laissé un pourboire, j’espère que les autres en ont eu une partie.
