Food and service was very good, would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high end Italian restaurant.

We were four guests. We all found the food experience was very uneven and disappointing. The service was excellent, and except for asking the AC to be turned off, since it was a cool evening outside, the atmosphere was fine. The food is another story. Both the salmon tartar, and especially the lamps chops, suffered from lack of taste. Not the overall dish, but the main ingredient could have been anything at all. The lamb chops in a brown sauce, completely got rid of any tase of lamb. We were shocked with what the chef did. Lamb has a distinct taste that shines unless deleted, which was what we found. The sauce was also more of a soup. And at 59$ for three small and unevenly cooked pieces of meat, we were extremely disappointed. The tartare had the same effect, no taste of salmon. So two proteins that are enjoyed for their inherent flavour, were thrown under the bus. The stuffed zucchini flowers were excellent, as were the stuffed figs. The pasta norma was plain and unremarkable. The tomato salad was superb.

We were sad that nothing really lived up to the hype in the introduction to the restaurant. Some things are due to a bad day, but specific decisions - like the smothered and overcooked lamb - tell us that we cannot recommend this restaurant to any of our friends. And we could not see ourselves coming back.

This was my go to spot pre Covid. Haven’t been there since unfortunately. Mushroom risotto was on point arguably the best in the city, the clam pasta was decent. Appetizers were all great, zucchini flower, figs. Prices are high but where hasn’t it increased. Service was good but the vibes from the old staff way better, new younger waiter was a bit off imho. Would only repeat if owner/cook is there.

Risotto est trop salé, je ne peux même pas manger une 3è cuillère. J’ai parlé cela à la serveuse mais elle n’a pas donné aucune réponse. Autrement les vins, services et atmosphère sont bons.

Cozy Initimate atmosphere. Manon was our server. She was top shelf, old school etiquette. Food had flavour, discovery of new taste combinations was there. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Une belle découverte pour moi. Ça fait plus de 30 ans que j’habite à Montréal et c’est la première fois que je vais à ce restaurant. On va revenir avec nos amis, c’est certain!

Very disappointed! I heard good things about this resto but I was not impressed with any dish. The salmon tartar was very heavy with black rice under and a bunch of fried greasy zucchini! A tartar is supposed to be light! The salad had a lot of rotten lettus. We pointed it out and they said absolutely nothing. The porcini mushroom risotto was bland yet hard to digest. They say it’s one of their best dishes but it’s the worst risotto I’ve had. The grilled fish was heavy also with a lot of potatoes Brussels sprouts… Nothing special. The lobster pasta was fishy and didn’t taste fresh. Maybe it was canned lobster? Even the dessert wasn’t good! I was in shock! $350 wasted!

We were a group of 8 for a birthday dinner. Benjamin our waiter was outstanding and the food (spectactular), wine, and atmosphere was exceptional. Thank you to the chefs and front of house for making it a memorable night.

Best Italian food in the city and its not even close. The chef and owner Robert is an absolute master in the kitchen. Friendly and accomodating staff.

Food was flavourful and fresh but salted to hell. Wine was good and cocktails are very strong. Dessert was great! Overall the food was decent and the service was great but they’re missing some attention to detail. The bathroom was very unkept for example, cocktail glasses sticky from overspill, menu boards inaccurate and illegible and food was sometimes served at odd temperatures. It’s a decent place to eat Italian-inspired fare but missing the details of other restaurants to be a fine dining experience.

So glad we finally had the opportunity to dine here! I often don’t opt for Italian restaurants, but my girlfriends and I throughly enjoyed our evening out as well as the authenticity of the cuisine here.
You must have tiramisu…absolutely delicious and very generous portion. Service was on point.
