Provigo / Maxi Montréal Saint-Jacques

The place used to be better when it was Loblaws with competitive price, but it isn't right now, especially against Super C not far. There might be some interesting sales sometimes and the nearest Provigo store away from it is less than a km away.

Au lieu de mettre une solution hydroalcolique de type purell pour se désinfecter les mains de façon rapide et sécuritaire, ce magasin a pris cette initiative complètement con et stupide de mettre des lavabos en demandant aux gens de se laver les mains. Les gens mettent 3 gouttes d'eau et s'en vont. Je ne mettrais plus les pieds dans ce magasin tant que cette mesure sera encore en place. D'ailleurs les 3/4 des employés mettent le masque sous le nez ici!

I was today shopping in my grocery it was a vegetable that the cashier did know the code she made me white more then 20m to find the code in the end she ask a blond woman what is the code her name was JOY she was putting different code it was horrible experience so in the end i did not take the vegetable the management is so an professional!

The line up at the cash was ridiculous. Customers should not have to wait in line for 20 to 30 minutes

I like St Jacque provigo because they have all the necessary items and they have international food aisle too. Good customer service.

Very rude people here working at coustomer service, Even if you are asking or been waiting for a long time they don't even care, I don't understand what's even a point of coustomer service if there is no service for coustomers.

Would have rated it 5 stars except for the fact that their chicken and fries at the pret a manger counter were stale and dry. My partner almost needed the heimlich maneuver that's how dry the chicken is. Get it together.

Very spacious place to explore and find what you need. As you enter the store, you feel how dedicated they are to greet customers. I'm not talking just about management. Every single peraon in any position was performing greate and respectful. Also, the building style has a good feeling because as you enter the store you still can see the day light through the big windows. Also, decoration was much better than other stores. The only bad side is that in some sections, there was a little space to cross because of stacked boxes.

J'y magasine à toutes les semaines. Toutefois, on remarque de moins en moins d'adhésion aux mesures sanitaires. Les client (e) s et les employé (e) s respectent rarement les sens pourtant bien indiqués aux bouts de chaque allé.

By far the best supermarket around. Well stocked. Prices are fantastic and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Worth the detour. On top of this, they are in a great location with tons of parking and an SAQ next to it.

I always order my cakes there, I know I won't be disappointed! The price is good and the bakery staff are super nice!

Each time I visit this store I'm impressed with the quality of the food and how clean it is. It may be overpriced for some products but usually what you find there is of good quality and fresh.
It's also a big store so you find household items, clothing and a nice prepared meals section.

They take care to paint lines for distancing outside and inside the store aisles and the same for checkout
Also reminding people of distancing over the Pa system. I will not shop elsewhere because of the precautions provigo take for people's protection.

Overall good service and friendly staff, except the guy in the skinny jeans at the service counter who seems to think he is there to look pretty. I go there at least 3-4 times a week I buy my supper and cigarettes (best price available in the area) smokes are available only at the service counter so to avoid extra bank fees i go to service counter to buy cigarettes and pay for my supper. I had 8 items in my basket and needed smokes but he refused to scan my food because i had too many items and sends me to pay for food at the cashiers and than go to him for smokes. I would understand if store was busy but it was raining and store was empty.

I eas surprised to see that i was almost alone in this giant store, i guess the specials weren't great on that week.

Really nice store but they need to improve their security once I accidentally ripped a tag on an orange and I tried to give it back, they didn’t even want it back.

Great supermarket, a lot of variety. It is always clean and welcoming. Vegetables and fruits are usually fresh. The selection of organic food is good. It can have more organics fruits and vegetables and more often but I am guessing that also depends on availability. Tried the chicken soup and the chicken and both are good.

Provigo is awesome. Great place to collect PC points.and then use them for groceries. Lol their chicken thigh meat is cheap and pork tenderloin. Good place to get plastic bags too

Good food, friendly workers willing to come to your side if U can't find the product U r looking for.

Nice place to shop for groceries and much more. What I like about this place is that you can buy freshly cooked food and eat it upstairs in the cafeteria.

Provigo has a wonderful lunch/supper area where you can get chicken and fries and a wide variety of fresh salads. My boys always like the chicken and fries but my husband was with me last time and chose to try salads. Yum! Plus they have a huge grocery store too.more than enough!

This branch of Provigo is our favor store for weekly's shopping. Lots of liquidation are available each week and you can do economic shopping for your family. Hot meal and fresh bread coocked everyday in store. Fresh fruits and vegetables and also flower available.

Joe Fresh store are available inside the store and it sounds great. You can buy economic clothes with good quality there. I suggested to do shopping when there are in off.
Lovely cashiers and clean store bring you nice shopping. Totally, the price of Provigo is higher than super C, but you can find the better price with various liquidation items each week.
Big parking space with lots of free space make it easier to enjoy your shopping.

Large place with parking, you can find home appliances and kid stuff here too. It's clean and nice. The only problem is that the fruit and vegetables are expensive I found.

For the everyday item they're normally a couple dollars more expensive than Super C - one block away - but they're selling 1kg Orient Express Coffee for $22.99 while Super C has the exact same coffee for $13.99.that's a $9 price point discrepancy with their direct competitors on the exact same product. It is disgusting.

Tres bien il fon des repas poulet. Ragout. Patate frite et des boite pour enporter aller gouté hummm

Former Loblaws. Too chic to be a Provigo. Giving Provigo Sherbrooke a head to head competition. Lots of variety. Joe label clothing line and the housewares and make up section is the bonus. Very friendly staff. Very helpful crew.

Lots of parking considering the other Provigo on the corner of Cavendish and sherbrook, also lot's of space but i feel they are focused on on one sort of food, very little halal foods no varieties, i've said this before but obvioiusly Provigo and their parent company doesn't care.

This store should have and would have received at least three to four stores however I witnessed right before Pati g for my groceries an employee stocking fresh fruits sneeze on the apples he was stocking with covering his mouth or. Putting his face in the crease of his elbow or turning his head. I spoke with the store director he said he would speak with the employee and assured me. It wouldn't happen again. The scarey part is the director didn't suggest that he would take the produce and at least wash them. I explained to him as a grocery store people count on Provigo to practice hygienic standards small children are most likely to eat this fruit and sometimes children forget to wash their fruit. I'm really sad to see this employee disregard food safety and if he were sick he should not have been working.

Un bel endroit bien propre! Nous avons acheté plusieurs pâtisseries qui étaient très bonnes, je recommande!

Very organized. The cooks here have great customer service. The food is actually pretty too!
