Provigo

They are amazing with not only business but they sponsor small club championship with fruits, drinks gatorade and protein bar.

I normally never have an issue and this is my preferred Provigo store but today I am a bit angry. I always do a delivery order when I have heavy items and I have always had great service. Today I asked for a least 1 hour to give me time to get home and as I was coming around the corner of my street I see the delivery van. I tried to wave but was not able to get his attention. All my groceries were left OUTSIDE of my apt bdlg (could have been taken by anyone) and now I have to do 5 up n down trips to get everything to my apt. Solution: if delivery driver is calling.make sure we can see that it is an incoming call from Provigo not a private number.or leave a msg with a call back number so a customer can call back and the delivery could have been done on last route of day instead of leaving everything outside for anyone to grab.

Let me first say that there are some great conscientious employees at provigo, but this morning the young woman in front of the self service refused to help when I asked her a question and told me no one would be able to help me. She does no justice to this otherwise good supermarket

I love this store, varieties of collections among vegetables and fruits. I do my weekly grocery in this brunch. They have box of croissants newly arrive very good.

Convenient cause it's on Sherbrooke st, prices for some items are ridiculous especially fruit and vegetables, just bought apples and expected to be great at 2,99 a pound guess what they were brown inside, this is the last time I buy fruit there I rather go to Esposito or even Akhavan!

Store is always missing stock especially on sale items. Staff is generally nice except for one cashier/ supervisor who is rude, impolite and generally mean. Shes been there many years and is I think should be terminated

This store is very well organized. Cigarettes are cheaper and the respect all the covid sanitary requirements. The personnel is quite welcoming et nice.

One of the cashiers who’s been working there the longest has always been super helpful and nice whenever I come in. Definitely would recommend going for her:)

They are offering more variety of different items to cater to all the communities! They have expanded their plant section over the past few years and you can even find vegetables for purchase such as cucumbers, herbs, tomatoes, a selection of flowers pots to put out on your balcony or front porch!

The staff is nice but this store is decidedly unsafe. They are letting in far too many people at one time and nobody is monitoring the lines for the cashes. Its clear that focus is on getting customers through the cashes instead of keeping them distanced from each other so people end up at most 1 1/2-2 feet apart instead of 6. Really too bad, this used to be a safe store, at least early in the morning (before 9 am). Now they let in too many people and distancing is not a priority so people get too close especially at the cashes.

They also need to put more effort into marking items on the shelves that are on sale. Frequently the only way to know the specials is to look at the flyer because instore items aren't marked as on sale.

Update May 28,2021: I wish I could say things have gotten better since I wrote the above review 4 months ago but they haven't. Despite the fact that we now have far more contagious COVID distancing and control of the number of people in the store still isn't done. I shopped at 8: 30 in the morning - on a work day - and there were far too many people in the store. There is nobody at the cashes to ensure that people don't get too close and in fact once again the focus was on passing people through the cashes as fast as possible.

Also several items were not marked as being on sale even though they were. Too bad, this used to be a really good store.

Decent shop with respectful employees under the pressure continued from last year's outbreak. If you need a decent meal, go in the store, turn right twice and ask for the combo, choose the regular chicken without bones, they give 3 decent chicken pieces and you can choose from regular fries, chips, onion rings, and sweet potatoes. The cost is 5$.

Aucun service en français, le pire magasin que j ai vu, très malpropre, énormément de passé date, incroyable qu'ils sont toujours ouvert

I don't usually give bad reviews but the health measures in the store has deteriorated to the point that I'm questioning whether I still safe shopping there.

Employees stitched the bagel bag together to make it look like there was no cut in the bag. The bagels were hard as a rock when I got home.

Not at all following rules about covid 19, too many people in there and the employees seem afraid to tell men to wear their masks properly.

Ça fait quelques fois que je vais à ce magasin Provigo et j'aime bien remplacement et c'est très propre et accueillant et en même temps un personnel courtois et souriant, merci!

La pire gestion des caisses. Il y a toujours temps d'attente. Je prefere ne pas aller dans ce magasin parce que 90% du temps il faut attendre dans une file enorme. La gestion doit installer des caisses libre service ou changer comment les caisses fonctionnent parce que il y a toujours des caisses sans employés meme si la file se rend jusqu' a la section laitiere!

Owner Mehdi Taallah DOESNT respect the limit of costumers that there should be in the morning, EVERY SINGLE day its like that, the employees at the entrance of the door only ask to clean hands, when asked if they should coudnt, they say that the owner DID not notify them to do so.oftens reach 75+ in store and its a pretty small grocery store.almost every costumers inside are not even 2 meters apart

Worst Provigo I have ever seen in Montréal. Treats costumers and employees like complete garbage, wont shop here ever again, will go to Metro or Provigo on monkland

I went here today on a nice Sunday afternoon. Personally, I think the experience is worth the somewhat higher prices. Every staff member I asked for help from-from the two gentlemen that helped me find the coconut milk to the young lady who pointed me to the washroom-were quite helpful. The only real complaint I have is price labeling. Specifically, I wanted to buy the pork chops that were on sale even though they weren't on my list, but I wasn't able to find what their regular price is.

Aside from that, the store feels spacious, and I don't feel so bad for lingering around and finding a few more goodies to go with the necessities.

I really like this Provigo. It's not different from the others, but this one is always calm and therefore is my go to grocery spot.

Great neighborhood supermarket, but pales compared to the one on the other side of tracks off Cavendish.

The prices are much higher than in Maxi for the same product. Fruits the same. Being the same group shouldn't be much different.

It's a smaller selection but they're great products. Produce section always looks fresh! The staff is very friendly! And they're always happy to help. Plenty of parking available as well as an Express parking. Multiple buses pass by. Also located near a pharmaprix. Good location. Would recommend!

Completely third world buisness, wost Provigo in all Montreal. Specially Anna who treats the client rudely

I'm happy to shop here for a change when I am tired of Esposito. However, there are always long lines at the cash, no matter the day or time. I've never seen more than half of the available cash registers open. The aisle openings are also really close to the checkout so it gets very crowded when you're trying to go to a different aisle. It's also quite expensive.

On top of that, if you don't buy anything you basically can't leave. What the heck! There is no exit, all the empty lanes are blocked and if you try to leave from the entrance you get looked at weird.

The worst provigo I've ever shoped. No consistency what's so ever. If you are looking for something you bought few days ago chances are you won't find it. It happens all the time. And to make things worst they closed the entrance from the parking lot in the middle of the winter. How stupid? I feel sorry for the old people that have to walk on the ice to get to they're cars. Never again, now I go to St Jaques for my grocery shopping.

Privigo Provigo my wonderful provigo.what can I say? It's about the most convenient store/mall for me any day. Not only can you get just about anything in groceries you also have delivery services, for a token! That is awesome and a great relief especially when you have other things to sort out asides groceries.

Much better service and variety of products that the terrible Provigo at Galeries Norgate in Saint-Laurent.

It's a fine store although rather tiny. The parking lot leading out to Sherbrooke and Cavendish is a nightmare. The staff here is pretty rude, especially this one older lady in the morning with red hair abs glasses. Fucking fire the old hag.

At times it's a line up at the cash, not to many cashier's work at the cash. The store need the self service machines. The atmosphere in the store Is great, the store is clean bright and renovated.

If you have 15 minutes to waste waiting in line, this is the place to go, any day and any time.

Decent selection of food items, pretty clean and organized. It seems that no matter what time or what day there us guaranteed to be a line up at the cashes. Staff is friendly and professional.

Solid selection of pretty much everything, if a wee bit pricey for some items. Good hours the whole week through, but expect potentially long lineups at checkout if you come at busy late times.

Centrally located. Has a parking lot, happens to be along several busy bus routes, also has 2 Bixi stations within walking distance if you are doing a small run.

Has a bathroom that customers are allowed to use. Good place to return your aluminum cans. Also has a drop-box for used electronics. Often has panhandlers hanging around the front entrance.

Around Christmas time there's always a guy selling coniferous trees in the parking lot.

One of the best Provigos in Montreal, too bad Jennifer the cashier spoils everything! It's the rudest and most annoying cashier I ever saw in my life! She harasses clients all the time!

Worst customer service ever.
I live in the Plateau and I just visited my friend who lives at Benny.
I wanted to buy those chicken wings that looks delicious but the lady on duty was very busy talking on the phone on the wall.
I wondered what took her a long time but still I patiently waited until a very young blonde girl on ponytail stopped her. And this old lady full of makeup, once she hang up the phone, she walked all the way out of her place even if she saw me that I was there waiting. She even said, "I will be back". Not even that young girl who caught her attention asked what I wanted. They were there their entire shift and they will not serve the customer who waited for them for so long. Common guys. Provigo paid you for doing nothing? I would have understood if there is only 3 or a few of you there. There's a lot of you there and you can't serve a customer who waited so long. So disappointing.

Large supermarket with good selection of foods. The international aisle provides some interesting choices. I can all my shopping done in one place and like the Joe Fresh clothing line for my kids.

Overpriced stock and slowest cashiers I have ever dealt with where they serves other customers while serving you. Glad there are smaller, cheaper (and more loyal) marketplaces nearby. Can't stand this grocer.

Big, but much poorer variety than the Provigo on St. Jacques/Cavendish or Monkland. Disappointing that they don't stock the diversity or quality of food products as at other Provigo's in the neighbourhood.

Première visite. Esthétiquement ça fait un peu vieillot ou 80's, mais les produits semblent être de bonne qualité. Rien à signaler.

Terrible service à la caisse. Hier soir j'ai pris un paquet de yaourt qui était en rabais mais à la caisse j'ai payé le prix régulier. Lorsque j'ai découvert ça j'ai parlé avec eux mais ils ont essayé de tous dire pour ne pas donner le produit gratuitement. Alors si ne vous respectez pas les règles pourquoi vous les mettez.

Today we asked for delivery at 210pm. Its now 715pm (and counting - 5 hrs so far) and its not here. We have called twice. They dont care at all. Never again.
