Good enough store with great prices and a good quantity of self-checkout. Love that I can earn & spend PC Optimum points here.

Wasn't here for very long, would need to do a bigger shopping to see if it is worthy of 5 stars.

Really perplexing move to downgrade to a Maxi. Store is unclean, tiny produce section, cramped shelves, no more fishmonger or butcher, prices still the same though.

Horrible. The place is in shambles, foul smelling, all the products are covered in dust, still no fair deals whatsoever despite switching to the Maxi brand. The shelves are now so close together it’s incredibly awkward to navigate the store! They are also missing many items, including produce. Don’t come here expecting anything specific!

Massive downgrade since they changed the banner to Maxi. I don't understand the move. Discount store is already well served in the area with Segal and the like actually offering cheap offering.

Its also a big mess in there. Hopefully they manage to reorganize themselves soon.

Awful awful awful experience. This provigo was recently converted to Maxi with thoroughly unpleasant results.unable to find such basic items as plain yogurt or lean ground beef. So many items are bundled in huge family-sized packaging, a frustrating choice in a pedestrian neighborhood. Staff was largely unprepared. Meat counter is gone.if you don't see it wrapped in the fridge, don't bother asking for it.

Nice and clean place with a decent selection on some of the things I look for. There was a lack of options and stock for things but I was willing to compromise.

I used to like going there. Lately the prices have been going up and up and up. Much more then other stores. On top they keep reducing the variety. The meat section often has empty shelves. If there are specials for diapers, 2 for a reduced price there is never a second box in the same size. So you don't get the discount.
Very disappointing.

Your system for making people stand in line does not work. It causes undue stress on staff and customers alike.

I shopped here for YEARS and the service is crashing. Had the worse experience today and I almost felt bad for the cashier who was, I am sorry to say, useless. There was no manager anywhere, people were asking questions everywhere, there was an issue with the self serve cash and she made me wait ALL OVER in line again (at least 15p people) to rescan my entire load of purchases. Plus, i m’y husband had spent close to an hour on the phone with an associate regarding his PC points and said all was okay with the card. What’s the point of points if the “system” never works.
Very frustrating.

I hope people who do not use/own cars can benefit from the delivery option that Provigo offers. I paid 7 CAD for two-week worth of my groceries to be delivered at my doorstep.

PROVIGIO ANGUS This is my all time favorite Supermarket: it is my weekly trip to the best of the middle class;A large free parking lot where there is always lots of room and courteous drivers. The entrance to the store is decorative with flowers and gardening supplies in season. Just inside are great handwashing facilities and masks and the store throughout is impeccably clean and vigorously being restocked all the time. The goods are great quality and always a range of prices. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and if the poster at the entrance is to be believed, we can often see the owner - manager himself at work here! He and his staff should be justifiably proud of this excellent location!

C'est ok, la selection est bonne, mais certaines choses sont manquante. De plus, la division des étales n'est pas bien faite on s'y perd.

Nice and friendly staff. Blilingual and prices are very affordable considering the store is near downtown. Quality of the steaks are impeccable from the butcher.

Pas mal de produits avec un petit rayon Organic (pas suffisamment grand je trouve) les fruits et légumes Bio sont eux mélangés avec les autres fruits et légumes il faut donc chercher et bien regarder.

It's alright. The prices aren't bad, but they often don't have the features sales items from the flyer. When ordering online, they substitute a lot of basic staples (eg cauliflower). We also had at least one bag from our online order never arrive, and despite calling customer service and filling out the online contact form, this was never resolved. We'll go in person to get something I'd there's a really good sale, but we order the bulk of our groceries from metro now. They're more reliable.

I wanted to buy some bottled water they had on offer, and some other stuff. There was no more water on the shelves so I asked if they would bring more. The ladies were very nice, they called and wanted to help. They said the water should come very soon. After about 30 min nothing, and the person moving stuff in the area was clearly not very happy to do anything about it. It would have been useful to know it took so long and not have to wait in the store. I could have buy the stuff somewhere else.
I goes without saying I didn't buy anything anymore there.

Un peu plus cher que dans les petits marchés pour les fruits et légumes, mais il y a toujours possibilité de trouver de bons spéciaux en particulier dans le comptoir à poisson. Anthony est de bons services et conseils.

Sometimes sells meats and fish that are very close to expiring. Additionally they don’t stock their meats very well. I’ve been several times now where the shelves are completely barren. Fresh produce is overpriced and not that nice. I recommend going to segals for organics and fresh produce, you’ll save a fortune.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Social distancing is happening. I wish we didnt have to carrie carts. As much as it is shown to help reduce traffic jam in the asiles in one area, but still, people leave their carts in the corner of the isle and do that regardless. Also if you are buying 1 tiny item, you would end up spending 3 times as much time in the store because you are carrying the cart around with you. I think edjucating ppl to socially distancing would be far more effective than this method. Over all, not a big deal and greatful you are open, hope we beat this COVID disaster.

Personne incomplet, tout particulièrement une brunette au carré qui ne doit pas être simple vendeuse, qui est a la limite du manque de respect! Inadmissible! Quelle belle image donne t'elle a sont personnels.

Grocery store. They follow the social distancing rules. Need to wash your hands upon arrival. Each line has an arrow on the floor indicating the way to walk through. Access to all you need from baby products, to fruits and vegetables, fresh meats and fish, to your day to day household products. There's a fast lane to checkout on your own for those who are in a hurry

Great place to shop groceries in downtown Mtl. FREE parking while you shop, with a huge grocery store with everything you'd need.

Les employés ne sont pas trop respectueux, il y a meme quelques caissières qui me regardaient croche les fois ou je suis allé dans ce magasin.

Overall it's very well maintained but prices are a bit on higher side (more so for veggies and fruits).

Shopping is simple; products generaly easy to find and comprehensive. The underground parking is a major benefit. Good seafood counter

Go later at night around and hour before this place closes and get so many quality fruits for 50% off!

Really good Provigo. Bixi station right there, great underground parking in winter. Friendly staff. Personally, I had a "top-shelf" grocery experience here.

It's a huge store with great choice however it is unfortunately quite expensive. Free parking for people who are driving (I don't).

Stationnement au sous-sol, bonnes diversité de choix, bien situé mais service assez lent aux caisses en général.

C'est un grand Provigo avec beaucoup de choix, le service est bon, mais je trouve que c'est trop cher par rapport à d'autres magasins similaires.
Il y a un rayon découpe, une boucherie, poissonnerie, et boulangerie.
Il y a des caisses en libre service et un grand parking est disponible en dessous du magasin.

Ce magasin est pres de chez moi.mais il ne respecte pas leur circulaire de rabais de la semaine.leur circulaire sais du jeudi au mercredi que leur speciaux est suposser etres en rabais.et si il l, ont pas il ne veule pas d, y mettre un coupon rabais.ce soir le 6 novembre bien leur poulet etais 2 pour 10.00$ il m, ont dit que le special etais finis pour l, article en question.je vais prendre une demande au bureau du consommateur a ce sujet.car sais pas la premiere fois qui me font cette chose la.alors l, etoile vaut pas plus cher que 1.

Bad service youre expected to pack your own bags this is the only loblaws i have come across where you are expcted to pack your own bags even if you spend over 100 and purchase plastic bags

Passer au comptoir charcuterie est un jeu d'enfant, le service va comme sur des roulettes et sourire garanti. Ma section de prédilection est celle du pain et du fromage, maintenant qu'ils ont de la variété c'est un succès assuré. Fraîcheur des produits mieux que la moyenne.
