Provigo / Maxi St-Lambert Victoria

Vast improvement since the previously named "Provigo" store! Far greater selection of products, and exactly what the neighborhood it serves needed and deserves. Happy to see an "organic" section in the store. Although it will not become our primarily grocery store, it will serve the community well.

Since the new owner bought the store, its been unorganized and under staffed, shopping here is now a pain. Some products are double the price as maxi up the street.
Often dont have things that i see in the flyers.

Great deals for reduced price food in the morning. Just dont go thro self checkout. Usually self checkout is the best but this place has the worst system and someone has to come check everytime u go thro it with reduced price food. Its a hassle and a half bcz there isnt a lot of workers and you have to wait

Today on October 3,2021, will definitely be the last time I will come to this store, for 3 days straight I was there to purchase 3 jars of sweet mince to make Christmas tarts, the shelf was empty and so I asked a young man who was walking about if he could please go in the back to get some for me and he told me it wasn't his job to do so, he didn't seem to be doing anything in particular except walking up and down the aisle, went to the front and asked to speak to someone about this and a young woman came over and I told her that I had been coming in since Friday for the same product and she acted as though she didn't believe me and walked away, I have been shopping there for many years and was usually there 3 or 4 times a week but after today no longer, many times they do not have what is advertised and I am just tired of the attitude of the staff

Generally speaking, ok for shopping, but the entrance is giving you a dirty feeling, not welcoming at all.

Clean grocery store. Friendle staff. You can find a wide range of options. No Halal option though.

Perfect proximity groceries. Not tok big but since they have recently reorganised aisle the shop is more attractive and more product displayed.

Je trouve toujours ce que je cherche chez Provigo! Il y a une grande variété de produits et les produits sont frais. Le personnel est courtois et serviable!

The place is quite small but still has a nice variety of products. Be sure to check the fresh produce especially fruits and vegetables as often some are moldy and in contact with the fresh ones. Not much of gluten-free and organic products but it is a small grocery. Some cashier's especially the older ones are quite rude and careless, one even tossed my bags and some of my purchases at the bagger to whom I apologized since it was very rude but she didn't seem to care at all.

Expensive fruit and vegetables and not that fresh. Not a very good cake selection. I was not impressed.

They dont have what they advise on the papers! Everything is very expensive and the organic section is super small! Last time there for me.

I have been going here for years. Up until recently that is. Lately i find this one cashier extremely rude and could not care less about her job. I am
always extremely uncomfortable when i have no choice but to cash out with her because she is the only cashier open. I have felt this way for atleast a few months. The other day was the last straw. I went to pay with debit and the machine wasn’t working, I tried my visa and again it didn’t work. She pretty much screamed at me out loud in front of people that clearly i have no money and that its not the machines but my cards. I emptied my bags and left. Never been talked to like that before by a cashier no less. I left and went to metro grocery store where my cards worked fine. Her name is Valerie and I cant understand how she still has a job. I will never go back to this Provigo again.

It's a small grocery store but has all the items you need for last minute pickup before going home from work or for a full grocery.

I go there frequently with friends during lunchtime for school, the manager there makes sure none of the other kids do dumb things like trashing the tables next to the store or being annoying in general. Also the poutine is really good for the price, and the 2L drinks are inexpensive. Great place

Very small. I've never been impressed by the meat section. I avoid going there even if it's one of the closer grocery store

Le décor est un peu défraîchit, la sélection de produits est un peu petite, mais on trouve de tout quand même.

Service à la clientèle médiocre. En fait, carrément absent! Tout le monde se renvoit la balle et la caissière dit ça me tente pas d'appeler un commis. Wow!

Ok if you need something in a pinch, but not the best variety of produce I've seen. Staff is nice though.
