Simple but nice tavern. Good price and amount for the nachos we ordered, although I felt it came with too much cheese which is invasive and strong cause you can not feel the other flavors. The red sangria was ok. Friendly staff, the waiter forgot to put one sangria in the bill, so when my husband let him know, he gave us 20% discount in that drink because of the honesty, this was a very rewarding and lovely gesture.

Right at the end of Little Champlain Street, a great place to take a break during your journey, serving mostly a variety of craft beers and snacks.

Amazing French Onion soup! Stumbled upon this walking down to check out tbe shopping area from our hotel and loved it. The soup is the best I've had yet on our trip to Québec! They have a great beer and drink selection and a really cozy room to enjoy your soup and pints in! Will be back on our next visit!

Pleasant experience in a simple but well-located place that delivers what it advertises. The classic rock musical score was particularly noteworthy this evening.

They might have great soup but who hires these idiots that work there? Bottom of the barrel service? Is it owned by 20 year olds?

The environment is what makes the atmosphere; right next to the stairs and perfect for people watching. Beer is good. Food was meh. The nachos did not meet the price tag.

Really disappointed by their soupe à l’oignon. It was advertised as a great place for that iconic dish.

It barely had cheese on top and the broth was not very flavorful. It seemed like the place was short staffed but I wouldn’t go back there for food.

Bartender (I didn’t get his name) have excellent service, switching between French, English and German depending on the customer. Made recommendations as well as taking orders and engaged with customers, asking about their visit. Never seen a bartender navigate a bar so smoothly, could do it blindfolded. Highly recommend.

Very good pub, amazing ambiance and staff. The food was also incredibly good! I strongly recommend!

On a adoré notre moment! L'endroit est super. La bière et le nachos étaient vraiment très bons! On a eu un super service sur la terrasse!

La serveuse a oublié de donner notre commande et au bout de 1hre nous lui avons demandé ce qui se passait. Elle a pris un air bizarre et est partie. Quelques minutés après le gérant ou autre s’est excusé et prétexte un bris d’imprimante que la commande ne s’est pas rendu à la cuisine. Il nous offre nos consommations et hop bonjour à vous!

Great pub in an absolutely beautiful location. Patio overlooks breakneck steps. Good beer selection and food is also delicious (note the menu is the same as Pub L'Oncle Antoine). I did not have a chance to try the french onion soup unfortunately, but the fried cheese squares are amazing! There is a boardgame shelf inside as well. Service from Holly was great! Will be coming back the next time we are in Quebec City.

The food is very good, and they have a very good variety of beers, only the service is a bit slow, but it is understood by the number of diners

Nice little lunch stop. Reasonably priced in a very touristy area. Appreciated the shady terrace on a very hot day. Nice playlist! Worth noting it's a pub, so the inside is for adults only.

Nous y sommes allé avec mon amie, nous avons pris un mojito sans alcool framboise jusqu’à la tout vas bien le serveur était de bonne humeur, ses mojitos n’avait pas de goût, pas gazeux, pas de menthe, mais nous n’avons rien dit, arrivé au paiement pas de rabais sur la note que sa soit avec alcool ou sans alcool ils nous a facturé 14 dollars le verre, mais non n’avons rien dit, je n’ai pas souhaité mettre de pourboire étant donné qu’on avait payé 32 dollars pour de l’eau avec un peu de sirop à la framboise. De là changement de comportement du serveur, il demande si quelques choses c’est mal passé, je lui explique que le mojito c’était seulement de l’eau même pas gazeuse tout en lui expliquant gentiment j’ai même rajouté « vous l’ai faite certainement pas de la même façon qu’en France ce n’est pas grave », il pose donc ma facture et s’en va à une autre table, en partant je le remercie et lui souhaite une bonne soirée, et devant tous les clients, il cri mauvaise soirée à vous deux. Franchement je ne regrette absolument pas de rien avoir donnée, il était très mal polie, grossier… bref le serveur était un peu grand, un peu enveloppé il avait des chaussettes avec ces claquettes (ce n’est absolument pas discriminatoire juste pour montrer de qui ont parlé)

Love this place. Sat on patio, looking down Petit Champlain. Great view. Even in a thunderstorm. Food was delicious. Cider was tasty. Great service.

The BEST bar in the city. Staff are amazing - so welcoming, fun and upbeat atmosphere. I highly recommend hanging out and trying what they have on tap! Also made great cocktails. Nachos were unreal and so were the wings! Thank you guys for such a great time.

Great atmosphere and fabulous drinks and food. Service is slow apparently because they are short staffed. But the folks are great.

The food was ok. The service was very bad from one of the female waitress. She totally ignores your requests. The other one-to whom I had to reach out-was nice though. Price a bit high.
