Nice little hole in the wall.

We came fairly late in the evening, so I didn't expect too much, but I really wish the food I did order was hot like the cheese wasn't even melted kind of cold

Service on the other hand was fantastic

And the atmosphere was quite nice

Good place to go for a pint not necessarily for dinner

Feel good here; feel it close to me. Right place to enhance the sadness. I don't go often to this pub that, more than anything, brings back good memories about lost friends, and lost friendship. Such is life.

Last time they didn't have lamb stew, the meal I go for. Got the beer and left with the sadness still uncured.

Classic poutine is good, the fried chicken on the other hand weren’t the greatest… we ordered for takeout and the paper bag ripped… otherwise they have good fries

The food used to be much, much better here back in the days (few years back).
And man I used to come here all through the week. The burgers are passable. The ribs were just okay. The Edison peanut butter burger used to be fantastic but now its just lacking the flavourful richness that it used to have years ago. The house pogos were lacking batter and crunchiness.all I tasted and felt was the texture of a generic hot dog. Great poutine nuggets though! And some of the staff delivered really great service as well.

Now, I don't understand why an Italian poutine has CARROTS yes carrots, in its sauce. Hard bunch of carrots. It just doesn't work. Don't know if it is intentional in the recipe or it was an accident.

100% coming back here for drinks and ambiance!
Won't be buying main meals here but just the sides.

Came here a bunch while we were staying in the area to escape the cold and love it! If you capitalize on drink specials you can get a pint for ~$5. Great atmosphere as well

Great service and the fish and chips were delicious and the same goes for the bloody cesaur! Would highly recommend this resturant!

Belle place, bin l'fun, bonne bouffe.
Vérifiez vos factures. Erreurs sur les nôtres (plats chargés en double) mais on l'a réalisé après être partis, et les factures étaient restées sur la table à notre départ, donc.

J'ai commandé une fois avec skip et c'était une catastrophe. On m'avais dit que la moitié de ma commande n'était pas disponible, donc je devais choisir quelque chose d'autre. Puis quand c'est arrivé il était tout mélanger, avec certain plats qu'on m'avais dit n'était pas disponible. Cependant, ce que j'avais reçu était très bon, et j'imagine qu'il serait encore plus bon en personne après la pandémie. Je tenterais a nouveau. I ordered once with skip and it was a complete catastrophe. I was told after I ordered that half of my order wasn't available, so I had to choose replacements. Once it arrived, it was all mixed up, some of the dishes I was told were not available were delivered to me. The only saving grace, was that the food was good, and I imagine way better in person after the pandemic. I will definitely try again.

The coolest Irish pub in the heart of Côte-des-Neiges! A fabulous selection of beers and great food. Unimaginably cool staff. My go-to place for sure!

The food was just okay. Very disappointed that they used processed cheese on their burgers. I also asked for mushrooms on my burger and they served it to me raw, and they were white mushrooms, which are super cheap, yet they charged a dollar for that. The food quality was overall low!

We came to this restaurant for a meeting.my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was a winning. The crew were very polite and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

Un classique du quartier. Idéal à la fin des examens. La sélection de bière est large (recommandation spéciale pour la Guinness), et les plats sont quand même de qualité pour un pub. L'ambiance est un peu bruyante mais joyeuse.

J'aime bien ce petit pub, parfait pour aller prendre une bière après les cours ou un petit lunch entre 2 classes. C'est de la très bonne nourriture, le menu m'a même surpris a terme de variétés. Je ne m'attendais pas autant de choix pour un petit pub comme ça.

Pour dîner ou pour souper, le service est rapide et efficace. Leurs poutines sont délicieuses dû au choix de sauce BBQ qu'ils ont choisi et le porc effiloché est juteux et tendre. L'atmosphère les soirs de matchs des Canadiens est joyeuse et survoltée.

Mozzarella sticks taste like Cardboard but the rest of the shareable platter was okay. The building is beautiful with a great atmosphere and the servers were awesome.

Food was good but really poor service. Waiter made us pay before getting our food.we had to go fetch menus ourselves.on his defense i think they need more staff.

DO yourself a favor and go to McDonald's: you'll get more service there.

I decided to miss a show, that I will probably never get to see again, for, instead, spending an evening with my two friends at the McCarold.

I worked in the food business and could tell this was not a busy night (sunday).

We must have waited over 20 minutes, I don't think it was 30, but who knows. Our server took our order. The drinks did arrive within 15 minutes, which is quite good compared to the rest.

The food arrived maybe 10 minutes after the drinks: we're almost an hour in.

We could not get our server back, don't ask me why, maybe the guy was busy with other people: you sometimes have to make choices, the one that pays more maybe! So we flagged a busboy and were able to get water.

Water seems to be something of value here: you won't see it often!

I wanted to order something else, but after a little while, no more than 20 minutes, I was fed up. We were fed up.

We saw our waiter maybe once. At least once for the initial order.

We stayed for a what. Over an hour and a half? Maybe less than 2.

I have never seen this kind of service in a whole 30 years and from many trips.

We decided we had enough and went over to pay our bills.

We all decided to go for option 5: no tip.

The guy, then, asked us if everything was okay. We said yes. He then mentioned that the tip is not included on the bill. I guess the service was not included either!

At this point, there is no need to educate a man, probably a little older than me, within the intricacies of tipping etiquette.

The food was good, don't get me wrong. But was it THAT good for the price? After that kind of service, might as well got to McDonald's!

I wanted to go there for over 2 years. I did. And this was the last time.

The food was okay, but the service was terrible, even thought the place wasn't at all busy. The server was arrogant towards pay time but inexistant throughout the whole time we were there. They took our order and rushed off before we even had time to finish it (so we had to ask for the other stuff when they delivered our drinks), and noone asked us if we needed anything else while/after picking up our plate. Ended up going up to the bar to ask for the bill ourselves after 30 minutes of waiting (worst part was we even wanted to order more originally). Worst service I've had in a long while.

The tables were wobbly, the servers didnt give us any water, our sever was in the back smoking where we could see him. Meal was okay. Feies were amazing though! 5 atara for those fries!

One of the very few wheelchair accessible bar-restaurants in the Côte-des-Neiges area. The food and drinks are delicious, and the personnel is super friendly and efficient. I love it.

Great pub with a nice atmosphere! No matter the day, there's always fun. I didn't try the food but the beers and sangria were good.

The place is quite big, and also have outdoor seats which makes it great for summer.

Parking can be found very easy in Lacombe Avenue next to the place

Accessible de l'extérieur en fauteuil-roulant, et accessible la terrasse en FR de l'intérieur via la porte-patio. Personnel avenant, excellents burgers et bières de bonne qualité!

Nice atmosphere.staff are friendly.food is delicious.price is reasonable.defintively recommend this place.

Un pub irlandais comme qu'il se doit!

Tout est fait avec de la bière, sauce à poutine (excellentes btw), pizza, frite, ect.

Il y a de la Guinness en fut, quoi demander de plus!

Dans une soirée vpas trop occupé on a vue nitre serveur une seule fois après avoir été assis 30 minutes, on a du demander les menus a un autre server et a la fin quand on est allé payé on s'est fais dire "vous savez que le tip est pas inclus dans les prix? " Quand on en a pas laisser

L'ambiance est très bien mais le burger n'est vraiment pas le meilleur. Allez y pour l'ambiance et la bière, mais pas pour la bouf

Used to be one of my favorite places. The burgers are really good.
They've since raised the prices drastically and they no longer speak English.
No service last time I went.

I rarely complain, but seriously folks! My veggie burger was served with 1 wilted piece of bruised lettuce with an unripe tomato on a bun that was burned black on the bottom inside which I didn’t discover for a couple of bites in.
And how does that happen? Wan’t it on the grill at the same time as the top half? I don’t need the carbs, so bad day in the kitchen maybe— but they’re not busy— so open face it is!
The fries were so salty and covered with what I used to know as “seasoned salt” that I picked through to find a few not so bad. Don’t need the carbs — and that amount of salt is against doctor’s orders.
Only 1 no-name house wine available and way overpriced for such a small glass.
All in all, I don’t want to think that I was deliberately served a burned offering because they didn’t care. But hey, you had your chance to do it right — in the kitchen.
The worst meal I had on the Cote-des-nieges in the past 3 weeks. Save your carbs for something better.

Great pub food and a fairly decent selection of beers and whiskeys! Their burgers and poutines are a must!

I came at lunch time last Thursday June 27th 2019 and I really enjoyed my visit. Delicius calamari and burger. I drank a very nice ice tea at the terrace in a very sunny day. There is a large quantity of beer options and drinks, as well as appetizers and burgers. You don't be disappointed with the food and the service. Well done team!

They ask to pay in advance everybody sitting outside (as they say "due to shift change"). After payment they completely forget you.

Endroit agréable pour prendre une bière de type irlandaise en fût. Côté nourriture, je n'ai que goûté les frites et elles étaient délicieuses.

Great atmosphere, quality very good, staff very polite. I had the Irish stew served on a small cast iron skillet very tasty, four pieces of garlic bread were served in the skillet around the outer edge. The lamb was very tender, perfectly cooked! The plate could have been a bit bigger for what the price was, other than that a very nice experience overall, I look forward to going back.

Good food, friendly service! Two waitresses gave us excellent service, we felt like royalty! Pizza was excellent, and good choice of beer. Prices are affordable!

This is my 3rd or 4th review good place and food BUT I keep providing the same review JUST improve your service. I keep calling the waitress or waitor to refill my beer or to remove my plate or anything related to service towards the client! The waitor had the attitude "I'm watching if you're gonna tip me" very lame!
