Punjab Sweets

This horrible person. We asked for 1 kilo of jalebi to take away. He put all the ones that were shapeless, overly fat, and soggy. Plz see pic.
They deserve 0 stars. They pulled other dishonest garbage on us last year too. And yet we are nice people so we thought we would give a desi business another chance.
What a dishonest person.

This one is my previous review.
We always order around 20 samosa chats. We have been happy in the past, but the last three times, the container was barely covered at the bottom when it has always been full in the past. First time we did not complain. It can happen. Second time same thing. We called and he was rude and said it has been always like that. Third time we asked him to make sure containers were full but they still barely covered the bottom. We never spend less than 200$ when we go, so no more. He got too cocky and thought he could keep getting away with it.

Very great and tasteful product in that little place. We pick some random stuff and everything had an unique flavor. The owner gave us 2 times sample of the sweets to see if we would like it.

Excellent place to get desserts. Always good quality place needs some refurbishment but other nice place to get some traditional Indian desserts.

So good! I could live on the onion bhajis. I really could. Everything tastes amazing here and they're fresh!

Sweet shop which has only take out option. Some sweets are good. No dine in. Moreover, there is no price chart.

Amazing choices of sweets. Some of the best, if not the best sweets in Montreal. Owner was incredibly nice and the atmosphere was homely. Would recommend to anyone looking for south Asian sweets.

Small restaurant. As of now not allowed to eat inside. Only takeout. Had snacks here. Taste was good.

NEVER GO HERE. FRAUD. Yesterday i went to buy some gulab jaman all the way from downtown but. Half of them r rotten, dried, looks like many days old uneatable. Unbelieable and disgusting way to make money.

Great samosa for amazing price. Sweets are less sugary than others which fits my personal preference. Pakistan Zindabad.

Very solid selection of sweets handmade in house. Pretty sure I scared off an uncle ji today by no fault or attempt of my own. Dude saw me and took off for some reason. I had a ninja turtle T-shirt on and sweatpants. Sir agar aap ye parreho to I am sorry yaar. Mein gunda nahin hoon

The samosas here are delicious but be aware, the guy (older gentleman) who serves the food never changes his gloves. I've seen him serve food with the same gloves, he takes money with and or adjusts his mask with (which he usually wears under his lips). Who knows how long he's been using those same gloves for or if they've ever been changed at all. On several occasions, I was even given cold and stale pakoras and other short eats. Not for weak stomachs but I do hope they make the necessary changes.

Thiswas my first ever experience with Punjab Sweets. Uncle was so nice and welcoming:) I had samosa, pakode, jalebi and kala kand. Everything was so yummy? Definitely going back for round 2!

Cute little spot in parc ex with possibly the best samosas in Montreal! The sweets are amazing as well, try the pistachio and the carrot ones. Definitely a hidden gem.

The only good desi traditional sweet shop i could find out in whole montreal region. And the first sweet shop i was able to find a comparatively good jalebi. Interestingly, they have Rus-malai as well. The samosas and namak paray are much much better than other shops around. Other day, i went with my family there for poori chana breakfast. We enjoyed excellent fresh and hot breakfast and after having thehot tea in the end i just said "chas aa gaya". I am living since more than 2 years in montreal.i can claim that i could not find anyother restaurant who matched the quality of sweets and breakfast.

Highly recommended, bought 8kg of sweets for my engagement and everyone loved it.the owner is a sweetheart as well.

I love Punjab sweets, all the sweets feel like home in Mauritius and even the pakora, samousa are wonderful.

Absolute gem.ordered Samosa.gulab jamun and aloo parantha. Best samosa in Canada so far. Owner is awesome.he explained each and everything with patience and detailed.

The shop has a wide variety of Indian sweets. The owner was very helpful and explained that all the sweets are freshly made out there. The sweets are not crazy sweet which I liked the most. Was craving for motichoor làdoo and they had the best, soft and sweet ladoos. We tried a variety of burfis as well.

The place is right next to the road, clean and not expensive. Should definitely try this place.

We have been obeying our sweet tooth at Punjab Sweets for eleven years, ever since moving to Quebec. All three children are happy to grab a fiver- or larger note- and run in for a box of barfi, gulab jamon, etc. My youngest was unable to finish his lunch but found room for four barfi! No one has a better sweet shop in Montréal.

Le gars est un vieux Pakistanais sympathique qui parle pas un mots français et se débrouille un peu en anglais. Qu'a cela ne tienne, demandez lui de vous faire une boite et choisissez au hasard une quinzaine de pâtisserie, c'est un voyage psychédélique pour vos papilles. Des fois c'est "meh" des fois c'est "wow" mais ça ne laisse jamais indifférent. J'adore!

This place has it's good days and bad days. There are days where I have left with good food (appetizers) and I'm satisfied but then there are other days where I had left with dry, old appetizers. Despite my past experiences, I always give the little guys the benefit of the doubt. But my last experience was honestly bad; they gave me extremely oily samosas and dry- cold pakoras. If you really want quality regardless of the month or the week, just hit up restaurant Pushaps by namur metro.

Fantastic place - a hidden gem in Montreal. Great sweets (especially the Mango Burfi, Coconut Burfi, and Jeelabi. Authentic Indian taste. Right across the street from Punjab Palace

I am in Canada for over a decade and tasted the best sweets and Samosa. Every sweet is distinct in flavour and on top affordable - Abhishek (RJ at Radio Humsafar)

Love this place, a samosa always fresh, lovely sweet, and the price? What price? They charge very reasonable, a must must go!
