Very nice layout extremely clean and well stocked. Be ready to pay more than your average chocolate bar, afterall, Lindt products are superior quality.

Elfi et Maxime sont des artisans chocolatiers et entrepreneurs inspirants! Ils ont à cœur un commerce équitable qui met en valeur les trésors du Pérou. Ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer tout le processus de fabrication de chocolat ainsi que leurs produits. La dégustation en groupe est la cerise sur le gâteau! Je recommande vivement!

I visited on 3/25/23. I prebooked the tour and it was really great. I believe it’s a husband wife combo who own and run the place. They are super nice and kind. The tour was in French but he was able to translate for me which was great! We learned about how they started, getting the cacao beans directly from Peru farmers and the creation from bean to chocolate bar. At the end of the tour we tasted about 6-7 different chocolate bars they make. There are numerous ones! Tour last about 3 hours total with the tasting.
They taught us how to taste and enjoy chocolate: Slow down the experience, view the piece of chocolate for color/sheen, snap it and hear that sound, taste a small bite chew 2-3 times then let melt in your mouth to get the best flavor. I was blown away by the flavors! Best chocolate I’ve ever had! I did end up buying 3 bars, see in pics. They threw in a chocolate bunny and two hazelnut chocolate bells.
Whether you do the tour or not, this is a MUST DO/SEE in Montreal.

Nous avons fait la visite et la dégustation avec Elfi et Maxime et c’était une expérience incroyable tant ce couple est passionné par le chocolat et la qualité de leur produit. Les explications ainsi que la joie qu’ils éprouvent à nous transmettre leur amour du chocolat est un pur bonheur! Et que dire du goût de leur chocolat! Jamais vous ne pourrez goûter un chocolat aussi pur, aussi sain et aussi naturel que chez Qantu. Les saveurs en bouche sont incroyables. Nous avons tellement hâte de revenir pour acheter encore plus de tablettes de ce délicieux trésor. Merci pour ce que vous faites!

Le trésor caché est juste divin, jamais goûté un tel chocolat, la texture et le goût ne font pas penser à un chocolat à 80%, c'est incroyable.
C'est une chance d'avoir un artisan chocolatier aussi réputé dans le quartier, les prix de meilleur chocolat du monde se justifie.

Déguster le chocolat Qantu, c'est avoir la chance de faire un grand voyage. L'expérience et les saveurs sont merveilleuses. Vous (re) découvrirez le chocolat! Un travail exceptionnel qui se cache derrière et une dimension humaine sincère de la fève jusqu'à la tablette. Je recommande également la visite de la Fabrique. Elfi et Maxime vous accueillent chaleureusement et donnent de très bons conseils.

My understanding of chocolat changed drastically after my visit to Quantu's factory.my initial concept of chocolat being a simple treat to sweeten my palate was shattered as now I know Quantu can deliver chocolat that can take you on a memorable journey of complex notes and flavours encompassed into different layers that spread over time. You can taste the love and care behind every chosen cocoa bean from the peruvian lands that made the chocolat tablet. If you love chocolat, you got to love Quantu.

J'ai adoré la visite très enrichissant au niveau culturel sensoriel et apprécié les propriétaires très chaleureux passionnés et offre des produits frais de haute qualité a découvrir!

Très belle expérience avec la visite et dégustation des chocolats Qantu. On a eu aussi la chance de goûter du thé adéquat avec les chocolat goûté. Je recommande vraiment, ambiance sympathique, on a pris tout le temps voulu pour poser nos questions. Je referais dès que possible avec la famille qui viendra prochainement.

Nous avons adoré la visite de cette fabrique artisanale de chocolat, de la fève au produit fini. On en apprend beaucoup sur les terroirs du Pérou, la traçabilité et la fabrication. On déguste à chaque étape.

A little out of the way from the main city center, but definitely worth the visit - you can stop at one of the local markets nearby, and/or check out the Biodome, if you want to make the most of the trip. We did the chocolate tour/experience which is in French, but we called ahead and Maxime was kind enough to add some English translation (we were planning to go either way, but in hindsight were thankful for the translating, even if it was abbreviated to save on time, because it really was informative). The experience is true to their “bean to bar” philosophy, with tastings at almost every stage of production. And the explanation of the chocolate making process is all from Qantu’s perspective of purchasing via their network of cooperatives in Peru, so you get an appreciation for the work that goes into it. The final product was amazing, and even better having tasted how the initial beans transformed so drastically, without losing their initial flavors. The factory is very small (you may accidentally miss the front door at first), so it’s not a large/flashy factory - but this is because it is small batch, high-quality production. And the tour is still very engaging and fun, partly because it’s a smaller factory/tour, and well worth the visit!

Great quality chocolate, very rich taste and variety of flavours that I’ve never tried before. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. She is very passionate about the product.
She gave us a lot of information about each type of chocolate and gave us little samples to try.

Amateur de chocolat, il ne fait aucun doute que Qantu est la meilleure chocolaterie au monde, tant par la sélection des fèves de cacao, que par le choix des producteur.rices, que par leur amour et leur soin pour le chocolat, que pas la qualité de leur travail, que que par leur humanité et leur richesse de coeur, que - enfin - par la préservation de l'unicité de la saveur des fèves et de leur choix d'équilibrage et d'échelonnage des goûts retenus dans leurs chocolats. Bref allez-y!

Qantu est une vrai perle rare! Je recommande absolument pour tous les amateurs de bon chocolat bean-to-bar. Elfi et Maxime sont des artisans chocolatiers hors pairs, de vrai passionnés qui prendront le temps de vous expliquer leur travail et leurs produits. Ils sont tellement fiers de leur chocolat qu'ils nous offrent la possibilité de visiter leur atelier et l'on peut ainsi voir où la magie s'opère. Goutez leur chocolat péruvien ''Gran Blanco'' qui est une pure merveille. À déguster sans modération!

We were able to have a tour of Qantu factory. Tasting our first chocolate was like eating chocolate for the first time. Their process is top-notch and their story is memorable. We love Qantu chocolate and we’ll glad we can order it in the US!

Qantu Chocolate is one of my favorite craft chocolate maker. Each of their bars strictly and amazingly represents Peruvian identity/flavors. They are also committed to exploring new varieties such as the Tresor Cache. Packaging and shipping is fast and perfect. I have never received a broken bar! By the way, the owners are amazing

Qantu is not only a true Montreal Jewel, it's also the BEST chocolate in the WHOLE WORLD. I have been a fan since day one and I particularly love the fact that the owners KNOW the people who grow the cacao. They know where it comes from. I was blown away by the taste, now I am an even bigger fan of their business model. If you haven't tried it yet, be warned: your life will change. There is the BEFORE and AFTER tasting Qantu Chocolate. It's totally uncomparable. And it makes perfect gifts:) Highly recommend it!

Outstanding craft. It's no wonder they are multiple times awarded the Golden Bean Award! I ordered online and received all confirmations and notice for pick up in a timely fashion. Geat experience from shopping to tasting!

2021: j'ai découvert par hasard cette chocolaterie. Décor épuré où les produits sont mis à l'honneur. Proprios sympas, avenants, chaleureux qui n'hésitent pas à partager leur expérience du.
Le "oh la vache" est définitivement différent de tout ce qu'on a connu: la qualité, l'équilibre, la saveur. Très riche et dense comme goût.
Le morropon: la note de cerise est bien présente, long en bouche. Riche.
L'érable et fleur de sel: érable caramélisé subtil, légèrement salé. Faites l'essai, vous ne serez pas déçu.
