Qing Hua Dumpling

I don’t even really like dumplings but my friends dragged me here. We ordered 4 different kinds of steamed dumplings (you could also get them fried) and all were amazing! It was too much food for lunch, yet surprisingly inexpensive. If I lived here, I would return at least weekly. It is a clean pleasant establishment with friendly service. What a find!

Dumpling are pretty good! The best one are: chicken curry, lamb and green oignon and pork and cilantro. Its my favorite place of dumplings and i tried a lot.

We order through Uber eats. Was pretty disappointed. Their dumpling dough is very thick and their pumpkin dumpling was super undercooked. They should really pre cook the pumpkin. Chicken curry was pretty good.

However, the portion for that tofu noodles salad was disappointing.

That’s $7.79 on Ubereats and it was only 1/2 12oz container. Very disappointing. I was expecting bigger portion for that price.

Adore these dumplings, been getting them for years. Ordered from Uber eats because I was desperate after a year of being separated from dumplings, it's not the same as fresh onsite dumplings but it hit the spot. Was delighted to find I could order the frozen ones as well.

Best soup dumplings in town! The prices are good, staff is friendly and most importantly their dumplings are delicious. This restaurant got be through 3 of Concordia. It's a great little date spot, usually the dumplings take a little while, they hand make them, so it gives enough time to talk.

La première fois, c'était bon. La deuxième, j'ai annulé ma commande Uber après quelques minutes (il y a avait eu erreur) et voici ce qui est arrivé: j'ai reçu 3 assiettes de dumplings au lieu de deux, et les deux commandes ont été facturées. Résultat, je voulais avoir deux assiettes de dumplings (médiocres cette fois-là) et deux soupes hot and sour (horribles! Une honte) et ça m'a coûté plus de 130$! Inutile de dire que c'était une expérience atroce que je ne recommande à personne. Pour ceux que ça intéresserait, ni Uber ni le restaurant ne considèrent qu'il y a un problème et que je devrais être remboursé.

Nous sommes allés dimanche dernier commander des dumplings dans cette succursale. Au moment où mon copain est arrivé pour chercher sa commande, elle n'était pas encore prête et il a donc attendu à l'entrée en regardant les employés travailler dans la cuisine. Il a alors vu une femme qui préparait les dumplings. Elle portait un masque sous son menton (ne couvrant ni son nez ni sa bouche) mais surtout a éternué plusieurs fois (3 ou 4) seulement en tournant à peine la tête mais sans se couvrir le nez! Mon copain a eu sa commande et l'a payée mais était tellement dégouté qu'il ne l'a pas mangée.

Love this place! I live quite far from the restaurant but I am trying to go as often as I can I even did the whole trip yesterday with my friend. I have had dumplings before but they tase nothing like these. Definitely a must if you pass near one!

Fluffy, crispy dumplings cooked to perfection. We had ordered 3 plates (lamb & coriander, beef & cheese and shrimp) and all of them were cooked nicely. The best part is that the dumplings were sealed perfectly so that all the broth stayed inside the dumpling. They also moved to a new location, which has really modern decor. In addition, the staff is super friendly and helpful with their recommendations. Overall, service was quicker than we expected since we waited 20 mins for the food during dinnertime.

This place should have 5 stars, there is great service nice atmosphere and the dumplings have to be the best in Montreal at a decent price. Will buy dumplings nowhere else.

I ordered peanut butter dumplings and when they arrived there were 4 tiny dumplings not even making a pile 2cm high in the container. 6.95 for 3 bites of dumpling.

If you can’t it into Tsinghua University, you can come here and live it up.only to realize that it’s not the same Chinese characters at all.

Amazing place. Must visit for dumplings. Vegetarian friendly! Decently priced - ~$10 for 15 dumplings. You can also mix flavours so it makes it worth while to try different items. We tried the various chicken and veggie options and only one we were disappointed in was the Tofu Veggies.

Trop cher les coktail et les dumpling vienne avev aucun a coter. Bonne salade de patate. Aquarium a linterieur mais pas de poissons dedans. Belle ambiance. Belle serveuse, le drink etait bon et les dumpling aussi mais pourrait etre mieux

Great dumplings, good price. The steamed ones are WAY better than the fried ones. Also try their marinated cucumber salad. So refreshing!

Fifteen Delicious steamed dumplings for around $13. What's not there to love. Recommended the shrimp dumplings, and the pork&coriander.

Great great great, never eaten inside, just call for a pickup order is the best way to get the Dumplings with no wait. Fried / Steamed equally delicious, pork and chives for life! Favorite dumplings downtown, and there's a lot of them!

Les dumplings sont vraiment bons. Le service est bien aussi. Le coût est bien aussi (autour de 10$ pour 15 dumplings)

My husband's go to. They serve 15 dumplings per order. Great bang for buck. Wide variety of options. The wonton soup entree was really appetizing and warming (coming in from -18 degree weather). Cozy enough but nothing fancy.

The food is alright not so bad. The ambience is not clean and dingy. Maybe Montreal people don't know what the real dumplings are.

I came here with my boyfriend on a Saturday night expecting a long wait but was pleasantly surprised when we got seated right away! I didn't find the service slow at all and come on, 9$ for 15 dumplings? An absolute steal! The dumplings are fantastic too. Will definitely be back soon

I like this place a lot, only minor complain the time to take your order and bring it to your table.otherwise one of the best dumpling places i have tried

I am not very knowledgable about dumplings but these were really good. My partner apears to have really appreciated them. FYI, if you order too many you can take the rest home without issue!

We were on the hunt for some dumplings and found this gem. Don’t expect anything extravagant or a wide variety of oriental cuisine. It’s a dumpling house with a large selection of dumpling stuffings and 3 soups. PERFECT!
I enjoyed fried dumplings and chose to mix between 2 flavours. They came fast, we’re not greasy and definitely some of the best I’ve had. My partner swears by steamed dumplings, she also chose between two flavours and loved what she got.

Perfect value for money with a nice cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Great little dumpling stop. Lots of different choices and the dumplings come either fried, boiled or steamed. Food can take some time but I think that's the territory you're venturing in when they make the dumplings with such care. Service has seen a marked improvement over the last few years as well! Get the beef Curry, lamb coriander, or pork cabbage. All steamed, fried if you're feeling it. A must for Concordia students!

I suppose for Montreal the dumpling is OK, but if you have been to many other dumpling places, this one lack of flavor.great service though.

Ok les dumplings sont bons mais le service est ultra mauvais (et nous étions 5 clients dans le resto) les serveuses sont bêtes et le resto est sale.

You won't get the fastest service here (like, far from it) but you will get some of the best dumplings in the city. And I've had a lot!

Went for a late lunch, the restaurant was quiet. It feels a little cold in the winter but they do have a big heater running. Dumplings are delicious. This time I tried the pork and mushrooms and the shrimp with pork and coriander. Good place if you're on a budget 15 dumplings cost between 8 and 11 bucks. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. This was my second visit and I'd go back, recommended.

This place has some amazing dumplings. But the staff is not at all welcoming. It's like they don't even want to see us there. No one even smiles. While taking orders, it feels like they are doing some favour on us. Today after having one serving of dumplings, we wanted to order another. I called the staff guy (probably the owner or manager) there to order and without even listening to me, he said you have to pay on the counter. He was straight rude to my face. I did not even feel like correcting the guy. I went to the counter myself to give another order so that i don't need to face that guy anymore.

Juicy, savory and affordable. Service a little longer than in other Chinese restaurants across town, but these are handmade so worth the wait.

Dumplings and soup are delicious and price us fair for downtown. Service is OK to great - it often depends on how busy the night is. If you need something, you'll have to go out of your way to get someone's attention but usually get a fast response once you do.

Best dumplings downtown, service isnt the greatest and the atmosphere isnt great but you're only here for juicy delicious hand made dumplings.

Lots of good selection with options to have your dumplings steamed or fried (fried extra 1.50 but worth it imo). Service was a bit slow but it may have been because the dumplings were made from scratch
