Very good for kids and families, food place nice but must of the items out of stock.
Bowling are good even though they still have a very vintage equipment that make you feel in the 70th.

Refused service in English. Most of the video games eat your dollars and there’s no credit. Alleys are in rough shape.

Worst place to visit.
Customer service was poor and pathetic. Spent 1hr for nothing. Came from Ontario to visit Quebec and got the world's bad experience. Not at all recommend.

L'expérience de A à Z était horrible. Nous n'y retournons plus avec les amis.
1. Le personnel ignore les clients et travaille très lentement. L'un des homme à l'accueil sort des commentaires inappropriés.
2. Le matériel est vieux, tout est sale et au point d'être hors d'usage.
3. Notre piste s'est brisée à la première minute (le mécanisme a commencé à fumer à cause des billes bloquées), et l'un des membres du personnel a juste kické le mécanisme pour débloquer les billes. On nous a pas déplacés à une autre piste, et quand, 10 minutes plus tard, le mécanisme a arrêté de fonctionner de nouveau, nous avons dû nous débrouiller nous-mêmes.

Mauvaise première expérience. Le bowling est désuet et l’équipement n’est pas fonctionnel. Le staff n’a pas proposé d’alternative ou de geste commercial, nous avons du partir sans remboursement. Passez votre chemin.

Ce salon de quilles fait vraiment dur! Pas rénové depuis 1980, pas d’ambiance car aucune musique ni éclairage spécial et en plus les allées n’ont pas été vernies depuis vraiment longtemps, ce qui corrompt la trajectoire des boules. Le pire est définitivement le fait que les allées sont croches (pas a niveau). Certains écrans ne fonctionnent pas non plus et les échafaudages et le materiel d’entretien traîne partout. Un employé a l’accueil était saoul! J’y suis allée 2 fois: la première fois avec un petit groupe et la 2e fois avec un très gros groupe mais nous avions réservé d’avance et appelé plusieurs fois pour confirmer puis rien n’était prêt quand on est arrivé. On a commencé à jouer 1h15 après être arrivés à l’heure mais quelques personnes devaient partir à un certain moment donc elles ont pu à peine jouer. Le gérant a essayé de charger le prix complet pour nos parties.

Hors de question que je retourne là-bas

Très mauvaise expérience. Un employé en état d'ébriété a manqué de respect aux enfants qui étaient avec nous. Plusieurs commentaires déplacés.
L'employé à la cantine a explosé et a crié devant les clients et a refusé de prendre nos commandes.
Nous avions réservé pour notre groupe depuis plus d'un mois et rien était prêt à notre arrivée. Nous avons commencé 45 minutes en retard.
Finalament, plusieurs déchêts dans nos allées de bowling et aucune ambiance. Je vous conseille le bowling de Lachine!

The location itself is not great, the place would be due for some revamp. Dirty washrooms. A lot of mistakes with the system, often adding points or giving strikes when it's not the case. There are better bowling places. It's still ok & service was ok.

Cheap place and fairly rude just for basic things like splitting your bill. If there were more bowling options in the city, this place would be out of business

The bowling aspect is fine but they refuse to give glasses of water and instead refer you to a single water fountain of which drinking out of is akin to sucking on your mother’s teet. I managed to scrounge up a cup and painstakingly collected water from the fountain.

Poorly maintained.you will have troubles on most allies. I brought my new ball to play and it finished the night with 10 - 15 chip, scratches and gashes. So fartor in a repair on your ball if you decide to play.

Lanes never worked properly. Food servers handle money and food at the same time. Never saw anyone wash their hands.

I have been coming here for years despite lanes frequently having technical difficulties because it's a nice neighborhood bowling spot with friendly staff. I had the same issue as a couple other negative reviews and they are all about the same person - the older man with white hair that is extremely rude to customers (phil the assistant manager).
I went to play for an hour as I always have but he refused to do it saying paying by the game is more profitable. I argued that I always play for an hour because I can fit in 4 games. He finally let me do it and I asked to split the bill with 2 other people but he refused to do that as well, not wanting to argue more I just paid the whole bill.
The lane I was playing on registered a strike as 9 pins so I corrected it as a strike on the computer. Phil threatened that he will stop and take away the game if I make another correction. The lane eventually did not work properly so he had to move me while the time was running. This isn't anything new so I always ask the staff for the couple minutes that I paid for during the move (which they always provide) but he refused to give me the time saying it's my own fault for playing by the hour. My own fault that the machine broke and that I had to be moved and not be compensated for the time taken away?
When I brought the issue up to the other staff they said that they have been receiving a lot of complaints regarding phil. This person is clearly hurting the business and pushing regular customers away.
Overall, he was extremely disrespectful, rude and made what would have been a fun experience, the worst I've had at this bowling alley.

Entering the parking lot on Cavendish boulevard, at the top of the road, there are a series of very nasty potholes. Cost me 300$ to replace my tire

With a bar, slot machines, arcade, pool tables on top of bowling, this can keep you entertained for a few hours.

Went here for the first time in over 20 years, it's still as I remember. All the staff was extremely kind and wonderful. If you're in the NDG area be sure to go knock down some pins and have a few cold ones responsibly of course

The only Bowling place I know in NDG. The bowling section is very wide so it's less likely that it will be full, especially during weekends and holiday days. There's also a bar, arcade & diner sections. Speaking of arcades, the 2 Dance Dance Revolution machines got replaced by StepManiaX, a 5 panels dance game and it's expensive like 2$ for only 1 song, pass or fail. The place can be accessible via the STM busses like the 104 & 90 or by car although their parking isn't big. It's also near Provigo & Tim Hortons.

Worst experience bowling machine was not working they took half of our time to repair then became rude when we asked for refund DON'T GO PLEASE

This place is the best for bowling in town. Randy, Mike, Claudia, Kelly (and Toby when she was here) are all amazing staff. The food is also great (poutine is wonderful and slushies are always on point).

The worst thing about this place is the jerks they have to deal with. Don’t be a jerk and you’ll have a great time.

Take a stroll back to 1980s style. Went on a Saturday night. It was our first time going. The lineup was huge; which was to be expected. We didn’t mind the wait. My low score for the review was because of the service received by the older man at the cash. He was absolutely miserable and fed up with his job. He had no patience to answer questions and properly explain the packages. He rushed me all along and was extremely rude. Once we got our isles, we were okay. The tables to eat were dirty, there’s no maintenance or cleanup in between isle rentals. It’s best to take the packages per game if you’re not in a rush, or by the hour if you need to be out by a specific time! The prices are pretty decent.

Awful experience here for a friend's bday. Our lane stopped working 6 different times, and it took 2 full hours to get through a single game. Super crowded, almost no one wearing masks. We left after that first game.

Malgré tous les efforts des équipes en sous effectif, nous n’avons pas eu une belle expérience. On nous a changé 3 fois de pistes. Nous n’avons pas passé une partie sans devoir aller au comptoir pour un problème mécanique (les quilles ne remontaient pas, les boules ne revenaient pas, la barrière ne se levait pas …) malheureusement nous n’étions pas les seuls dans cette situation. Le personnel en place était dépassé par la quantité de problèmes techniques et de personnes qui arrivaient pour jouer. On leur souhaite de trouver du renfort très rapidement. D’ici la si vous souhaitez avoir du plaisir envisagez une autre place…

There were limited light bowling balls. Some of their technical staffs were not friendly. The balls got stocked in bowling return machine a couple of times.

Great place to go with friends. The drinks at the bar are slightly pricey and small quantities. But the alleys and overall ambiance is cool. Love the nostalgia feeling.

HORRIBLE employee working at the food serving area, repeatedly screaming at a young woman wearing a crop trop to button up the shirt she was wearing over it since it was "too revealing" (no cleavage whatsoever to be seen either, she was wearing a simple white shirt) after staring at her chest for multiple prolonged periods of time. Treated her friends with no respect whatsoever either, REFUSING TO SERVE THEM as if they were not deserving of basic human decency for associating with a woman.

@ management: do something about this. This type of behaviour is absolutely inappropriate and makes your customers feel unsafe.

The employee in question is a heavier-set white man with a nike-brand mask under his chin that he refused to wear, with short dark hair swept to the side, a moustache and a five-o-clock shadow. Worked on November 27th 2021.

Had a good time bowling there. It is like walking in the old movies. Everything is ooooold there:)

It's fun, but come on. The least you can do is change the candy claw machines 2 year expired candy. Also, almost half of the machines don't work; and half of the ones that don't work swallow the money full. It's a lot of fun, but those 2 things are errors that should be fixed (especially the candy machine candy because that's hazardous).:)

The bowling is fun though. No errors there (from what I could tell).

I am here to add to my previous comment. The arcade machine candy was expired fully, 2 years expired specifically. Although, since adding the comment and going back I can say that there is new candy. Although, this situation could have fully been avoided with just being attentive. The little things (this is not so little, but still) matter:)

Not a good place to come and hang out, very old decor old mechanics which result in a very annoying mishaps during the game.
And to top it all off the customer is far from good very unfriendly and rude

The staff was very friendly. We went when the covid restrictions were eased a bit. The staff thoroughly disinfected the shoes, bowling balls and the chairs. Everything thing you might have come in contact with.

Quite tricky at first when you have multiple rows but definitely awesome. And the service.oohh five star grade earned!

Great place to roll. Nice people. Old school. Pool table. Air hockey. Game tables. Bar. Cafe. Clean and fun. Great for families, parties, date night or leagues. Tons of parking in a great location.

Service à la clientèle DÉGUEULASSE. Un vendredi soir, nous somme un groupe de 4 personnes qui veux faire du bowling. Du coup, on attend patiemment pour notre tour et on demande gentiment le temps d’attente pour voir si ça vaut la peine d’attendre, puis la madame à la caisse de nul part HAUSSE son ton de manière brute et impolie. Bref, ce n’est pas une manière professionnelle de parler à un client.

Il y aurait besoin de rénovation.on commence à jour à 21h pour 3 parties.résultat 23h toujours à la première partie car la ligne bloque tout le temps décevant surtout quand il faut se déplacer une dizaine de fois pour le dire et que rien ne bouge!

Good times at the Rose Bowl. I haven't been there in quite a long time and was quite impressed by the amount of people that were there. I would have liked to have seen more pinball machines but other than that a great place to go and have fun.

It was fun, but after bowling we tried playing DDR, and it didn't work. We then tried playing air hockey, and it would not keep the score of one of the players. They need to maintain their machines!

Great place for team building sessions or family activities with reasonable prices, courteous personnel, they have pool tables and bar, parking lot available, reserve the tables for dinner

Lane malfunctioned over 10 times, had to always go to the counter to ask to get it fixed. We weren’t even offered a refund or a free game. The “technician” guy even tried to blame it on us and say we were shooting too early. This wasn’t at all the case, we are both experienced bowlers. Used to love this place but it’s a disaster now. Took us over an hour to play one game

I can't believe how busy this place is in a Saturday night! Apparently they can't believe it either because they were incredibly understaffed.

A retro looking bowling alley. The moment you walk in the door, you just smell a mouldy odour. They need to get rid of that. Also, they need to have stricter rules in the bathroom and invest in soap dispensers instead of squeeze bottles. You can smell cigarette smoke and 420 inside. How could you possibly let people do that inside?

As for the bowling, the lanes tend to often malfunction, my ball would usually get stuck in the back, and would require someone to get it for me. Sometimes, the pins would randomly fall in the gutter causing blockage. Most of the time, this makes the system miscalculate the points. Even though I know I am able to edit the score, it is frustrating.
For these reasons, playing by the hour is highly NOT recommended as you would be spending more time asking for help than playing.

I like the fact you are able to get yourself a membership. For people that come often, it is a great way to save. When you get your membership, they give you these coupons that you can only use before a certain period.and if you keep the part with your number.you can get a discount on your next purchase of an extra 50 or 100 games. However, the numbered part is renewed every year, so you eventually will be paying the full price of the membership.that is unless you play a lot. The reason I keep coming back is because Laurentien Lands do not offer memberships. If they did, I would most likely go there instead.

This place is so old school, but still in running order. The lanes are very well maintained. Ball return is super fast. The scoring system is automatic but ancient. The pins are weighted nicely, and fall as they should. The oil in the lanes is also excellent, for instance feels predictable. The public balls were not so good, but it was busy.

Finally, the staffing at the concession stand seemed a bit weak, it took a long time to order two sodas on a busy Saturday night in December 2019. There was one overworked staff member hustling for thirsty customers.

Exactly what youd expect, good bowling alley opened very late 3am so its good for late night bowling. Has a decent inexpensive bar on the inside with spots to sit. They also have a fast food restaurant inside with hotdogs, fries etc.they have an arcade and rooms for parties! Not very expensive and friendly staff!

Go here several times a year as a quick treat for the kids birthday. Always very depressing having to interact with the grumpy demotivated staff. They are very unfriendly, do not like to interact and are reluctant to help providing information on the selection (game, hour, package, etc).
Also strangely enough at this location they suddenly charge for the kids support bracket, while at other locations it’s a free service. The price is not even kosten in the extensive price list!
This place is quit dodgy. Their arcade often fails and they know, therefore they put up large signs that there is no refund! - doesn’t that say it all? !

If you looking for a fun neat place to go, don’t go here! Other locations are much better and cleaner.

Price constantly increasing without any improvements except the arcade section which they charge us $1 per game. I would understand the price increase if they change their old monitors and bowling equipments. I hope there is no more increase in this year.

Thi place is good to play and have fun with family and friends also not evem bowling there is bar, video games, 8balls love them i come every week once

Food is not great and everything is very expensive. However, the arcades and the bowling part of the trip is amazing.

When I used to live in the area over forty years ago we used to bowl at Rose Bowl. The place today kind of reminds me of the place I went to as a child. It is huge compared to any bowling alley in Toronto but the place was not friendly.

The Bowling alley itself is large and very typical of what you would expect a bowling alley to be. I had visited the arcade this time and there were a few outdated and broken games. It is pretty small and has around 15 games including air hockey. No pinball though.

Very quick service. Very fun. Cool place. Very spacious and always has enough alley for all the costumers. Not that expensive but not too cheap either. It is very far from the metro and you have to take either the 90 or the 104 to get there if you don't have a car but it is worth it.

Expensive but who doesn't love bowling. Their cases croute is also pretty delicious and who doesn't love the nostalgia of a Labatt 50?

I read that a number of people had some problems here but I have been here a few times and found it excellent. I even ate here and did not have any issues. In all the games I have played only on one frame did the lane have a problem and they fixed it in a minute. Very pleasant staff and good bowling.

We were suggested to take 2 games for 4 kids ages 6 and 9 but 1 game was more than enough. Asked to refund the 2nd game that was not started yet and management refused. Place is expensive. Positive is that the setting is oldschool and has a 1980s charm. Don't recommend and will not be going back with kids.

Bowling is extremely fun but when your pin machine keeps lagging it's less fun. I highly recommend some maintenance in this place. Food is ok. I still recommand to come here, they've been there forever.

Great ambiance. Pretty affordable. They have specials to accommodate different people/groups or even alone. They have arcade games there as well, for those who wanna play after or before the game. Come alone, group, family, you'll definitely have fun and enjoy yourself. Plus they have free parking.

This place is four stars, but I added one extra for nostalgia. This place has been here forever. The prices are decent, but I know the food. Well I wouldn't eat here. But you don't go to eat. You go to have family fun which it has excelled for years.

Worst alley condition ever seen it will scratch your bowling balls. Perfect for newbies that play once every 10years.

Terrible service. We reserved 2 lanes, one of them broke 2x and very little was done. The first time it broke they fixed it, second time we waited 20min but no one came and when we went to see the older lady at the counter for a third time she said no one made her aware (even though we saw her 2x previously). She then offered to switch our lanes but at that point we just wanted to leave and they refused to reimburse that lane.

We said we wanted to pay for 2 hours then after 1.15 hours our lane shuts down because it was 2 games played. The lady at the counter said we only paid for 2 games but we wanted 2 hours and nothing was done about that since no one had proof because the bill just has a charge on it and not what we actually paid for, so we got screwed over there.

Next part the arcade: DO NOT USE IT. I am not overexaggerating when I say 4 machines took more than one persons loonie and/or the machine was broken/did not work. There was one machine where a coin was entered and it magically lost connection when it was functional just before. There was a 4 player game, 4 loonies were entered but only 2 got to play. We got reimbursed only for the 4 player.

It is a shame because when the lanes were functional it was good but the combination of sketchyness and cheapness just made it a bad experience. Did not eat the food and drinks are overpriced. You pay for a beer and a bottle is poured into a glass but a full bottle does not go in it and they do not give you a bigger glass to compensate.

5 year old birthday party. Horrifying experience when you pay over $400 for a party and they start to threaten to cancel our party because we weren't fast enough for them with our food order. Now let's talk about their putrid food. Pizza was burned, found hair in the very dry dripping greasy fries which were inedible. The buns for the hamburgers weren't even toasted. I give this place a -3 stars for the bullying and arguing we had to have with the staff. If you want to be abused by a bunch of morons, then bless you all. I DO NOT. And I seriously DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. What a horrifying experience.
