I have been visited them many times and the food was much more than my expectations. Really Recommend Everybody if you are looking for great taste of sweets and food in Montreal

Excellent collection of Indian sweets. Ladddu, Barfi, Chatham, Gulab jamun, Kala land, - you name it, they got all. They have samosas, kachori and snacks too. All are very tasty and prices are cheap for their good quality. I have been there many times. They also got chat and food counter which I have not tried. The place get crowded and service become slower during peak festival time.

I went in to check the menu as I was walking home and hungry. Everything else was closed or out of business. Not interested in sweets but saw the Chana samosa! I could not believe the size of the serving for $6 tax included! When I tried it the flavour was amazing. Full of flavour this was the best Chana samosa I’ve had. Enough for two people. A real value for $6!

Ram sweet shop is known to the Indian diaspora, but to the non Indians, they need to check it out. It’s snacks n sweets are very authentic.

I think this Indian sweet shop is good in the West Island. Usually all the sweets are nice and tasty but we bought black jamun to take out and it was not fresh and it had some kind of smell. Unfortunately we had to throw them all away. I would recommend to taste it before buying sweets from this shop!

Honestly this is quite absurd. My family ordered here 3 times prior. Every time they delay the order and keep us waiting 30min. It’s the worst service I’ve ever seen.

Definitely won’t be going back there. I guess they lost a client

Great sweets and were fresh. I went there on Diwali and these guys were very busy. But they did maintain the quality. Great place to buy your sweets for all sorts of festivals.

Unprofessional customer service. Never greet the customers and say thanks at the end. The conter person should get a training from big Canadian stores or Good HALWAI or BUNNIA KI DUKANS in India.

It's cheap but the food quality is not good. Samosa and Pakoras were cold without flavor. The Chaat Papdi we ate half way because we were hungry but disposed the remaining. I tried a freshly made burfi which was actually very good and flavorful.

Foods ok but because the lack of communication skills I will never order from there again. I ordered 12 samosas along with sweets. Came home to realize that the lady at the counter only gave me 5 without informing me. I tried calling the restaurant but they ONLY spoke in a foreign language and did not speak a word of English.instead of trying to help, they just hung up on me twice. So I decided to head on over there in person to tell them I was missing samosas and then the lady at the counter tells me that she didn't have 12 so she gave me 5.what a waste of time, gas and energy. Very disappointed.

I went on this Saturday. November 28.her behavior was really bad.so I just went to punjab sweets. Punjab sweet.sweets r really good and behavior was very friendly.sweets was for my engagement and everyone loved them

Visited yesterday, not following the covid19 restrictions. At the entrance a small post mentioned maximum five people inside the store but actually there were about twenty five people inside at any given time.

Quality and taste SUPER, STAFF VERY COUTEOUS.

Quality has drastically reduced over the time. Not at all fresh food, often super oily. Their service is super slow and makes mistake with phone orders most of the time.

We bought chat papari, channa samosa, aloo tikki, everything was horrible, tasteless, too much salt in chat papari, not even close to the real taste, I was expecting highly of this ram sweets as we usually buy samosas and sweets from jean talon Ram sweets which are mostly good but this felt like utter waste of money, it wasn't fresh either. We are really sorry to be posting such a negative comment but I hope you guys improve and feel bad for your customers.

This site is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place.everytime I I need a proper lunch, this place comes first to my head.exeptionalgorgeous and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.trained crew, and nice vibes. And very important, the tariff is modest. I recommend this place with no hesitation.

The food is good and prices are ok comparison to other restaurants (pushap has much better prices). But they always charge more than actual prices. Some of the sweets are fresh and some of them stale so you just need to use your mind. Personally I found them greedy. The pushpas are very humble and non greedy but they don't have much sweets comparison to Ram.

Was told to try this place by my Indian friend. Very disappointed…6$ for pitiful pani puri, sweets were not bad. Went during Covid, they were only accepting cash, I literally had to beg for them to take debit…they want quick money…all to say, I was disappointed & would not really recommend…

The worst customer service.even their food is never freash at all.
The girls working on counters are the bigggest cheaters.they play with the weight machines and charges extra.

Horrible customer service. I was treated like I was totally invisible. Stood in line made a point to say I was next and 2 people were still served ahead of me; but of course if your not of the same culture, what priority do you have? They showed me today.

Excellent Indian sucrerrie. Along with sweets they also sell punjabi cultural memorabilia. This is the only place so far in Montreal where you can buy a " Kahi " - a masonary tool used extensively in India. Affordable and clean. Takeout and limited dine in and catering.

Their sweets are good but the food is not fresh at all. I order twice food and both times it was cold and tasted bad.

A good and reasonable place to get Indian food. The place is clean and well maintained. Not a lot of seating available for dine in. I had Chole bhature, tea and two samosas, all for $8. The only disappointment was the time it took them to serve me, almost 45 mins to serve after the order. It is better to take out as they give it more preference, that’s what I think. Parking is easy to find.

Best golab jamun in the West Island. Very tasty, soft and melts in your mouth. Most of their sweets are excellent quality. Definitely recommended for sweets.

Sweets are ok but most price is high. And most of the time they charges more amount than actual price.

Though the shop can be more neat and clean, but the sweets are good.

A small sweet shop in the west island neighborhood. They serve chole bhature and sag maki roti too. The prices are awesome and the food is good for the prices you pitch in. The black gulag jamuns are the best. They also have catering services. A good place to buy your sweets from or have a quick lunch.

This place, although quite good for many things, has the most awful tamarind sauce (or is it?) I’ve ever tasted. Also, they are not very attentive to their customers, although I suspect they don’t realize it. On more than one occasion I’ve had to wait and wait and wait until the person behind the counter finished a personal conversation with a client before My presence was even acknowledged. Makes you feel like you’re intruding in a private party.

We go there almost every week, kids love their food, especially chole bature and parothas.) They have verities of sweets.and always fresh. Its more like family like environment! Must try.)

It's an Indian sweets (desserts) store as well as a restaurant. Foods (north Indian) and sweets will be really good. They aren't much spicy and any nationality person can try them. You can try variety of Indian sweets here. Popular Indian snacks like Samosas, pakodas are available all the time for low price. Meals such as Thali is available. Store will be clean enough but the washrooms cleanliness need to be taken care. Seating space is enough. Have more parking space. Cash only. May accept cards in future.
