Service is good. BUT No enough employees, long queue, no chairs to sit, especially for old people.

Was given a 5pm appt with banking officer at this branch in Normandie Shopping Centre by the 1-800 Royal Bank Telephone Customer Service. When I showed up, Assistant Brank Manager at the door said they were closing in 1 minute (at 5pm). "Must have been a mistake. " Showed him my confirmation email with details. "Wow, don't understand how they could have booked you at 5pm. The phone people made a mistake". He then checks the appt schedule for staff at the branch. "Yes, I see you are in the schedule with one of our employees, but that was a mistake. I will tell the employee to call you tomorrow morning to reschedule. If he doesn't call you back by noon, call me. "

I never got a call from the employee I had the 5pm appt with. I called the Assistant Branch Manager, left him a voice mail. NEVER heard back from him either. Worst customer service I ever received from a Royal Bank Branch in my 30 years with RBC. It's like they were government workers. Couldn't care less about their customers. This appt was actually for my elderly mom who I had to bring along. One of her first outings since pandemic ended. Not easy as she has some mobility issues.

Also, wouldn't the employee notice someone scheduled a 5pm appt? Wouldn't they get a reminder before the appt like I did via email? Isn't that the time to call the customer to let them know there was a mistake? The branch is actually closed at that time. And offer to reschedule? Boggles the mind how many customer service failures this branch can have over 1 appt.

AVOID this branch if you can. Definitely not up to RBC standards.

Je ne parle jamais dans le vide, et je ne peux donc pas me prononcer au sujet de tous les membres du personnel de cette succursale RBC, car je n’ai pas fais affaire avec eux tous.

Cependant, sur la base de mon expérience, je peux témoigner et affirmer ce qui suit:

. On y retrouve une personne, qui est totalement nulle; mais je ne vais pas la nommer, pour la ménager.

. Par contre et fort heureusement, les deux personnes suivantes sont très qualifiées, à tous égard, pour leur travail: Jetmira Muriqi et Jonathan Raad. Compétence, intelligence, rapidité, efficacité, assurance en soi, esprit pratique, sens du devoir, professionnalisme, célérité; et de très bonnes manières, en prime. Je les en remercie.

Terrible customer service. Rude, slow & the floor manager should learn how to talk to customers. Very disrepectful.

Ma dernière visite à la banque à été vraiment désagréable. J'ai du attendre 30 Minutes juste pour échanger des cous pour des billets et l'argent c'est la base de la baque.
C'était vraiment une mauvaise expérience.

Je suis très heureux de ma banque qui est à ma disposition en tout temps et qui sont super gentil parce-que je suis handicapés et qu'il comprenne mon problème.

Very good branch, outstanding service at the counters and advisor Araksi Kotsiras is very kind, helpful and professional. I recommend this RBC branch.

La pire expérience de ma vie! Un des conseils donné par une employée au guichet: le moyen le plus sûr d'envoyer de l'argent c'est le cheque dans une enveloppe recommandée! 21e siècle! Bof, mieux qu'avec le pigeon.

On est beaucoup mieux servie chez un dépanneur.toujours zéro solution pour la moindre problème qui peut nous arriver.c'est vraiment catastrophique

Worst service I ever received from a bank in my entire life (I'm 35 yrs old). Not only they didn't care, but they didn't care about my disability that is protected by the law and they were rude and didn't even respond to me.

I had to change bank and close my accounts with them although they never even closed them and didn't bother to respond to my inquiries through phone, and email and even written mail. I have spoken with the Ombusdman office and it is a real joke, they dont give a s*it about you and only stick with the corporation side of the story.

PLEASE AVOID RBC AT ALL COST. THEY ARE MANY BETTER OPTIONS: CIBC, TANGERINE, KOHO, TD BANK, EVEN NBC IF YOU HAVE TOO.

I made a phone appointment with one of the advisors at RBC Galeries Normandie 11am today. I waited till 12noon and the advisor did not call me. I was disappointed with this branch. So, I made an appointment today for 1pm with van horne branch and they called me right on time. Very happy with RBC van horne branch though. They are amazing!

Very good branch, advisors are available to answer any questions, tellers are professional. Highly recommended.

Worst client experience, they take forever to answer calls and always go around your question they never answer truthfully, they all want to scam you, worst branch ever

Great branch. It is true that they are often busy, but they always manage to get the job done quickly. Anne Marie Lacroix at the commercial section is great!

Had booked a call via the app with one of the branch advisors. When the time of the call came, no call was made. Got tired of waiting after 30 mins and had to call a call center.

One of the worst rbc branch ever they never answer the phone and the customer service is so bad really unprofessional.
