Worst bank in Montreal, so rude. It’s like fashion show all they care is their hair always there is a huge line, and they just do they’re makeup and hairs instead of solving each person problems fast. There is 25 person in the line. Please RBC see this comment and check your client and rude manager of bank

One of the worst branches in the city. Made me book an appointment 2 weeks out to open my business account. 30 minutes and I’m still waiting. Every single Rbc in Montreal is garbage this is one of the worst.

GOOD LUCK trying to talk to a person at RBC by phone. They are forcing me to say what's my job, or I cannot access my online account. WHY? They say "it's the government who wants this info". Well, the gvt has no law to require you to give your bank your profession. So why is RBC forcing us to tell what we do for a living? By the way, if you call keep repeating "representative" to have a chance to hear a human voice

She screamed on my face because I was seating on chair where her colleagues asked me to seat.

I am a business owner and have given millions of dollar of business to rbc … but taking all my accounts elsewhere and won’t renew my mortgages with them!

If I could give zero stars to this bank, I would have done that. Horrible, absolutely horrible service. The people at the counters are oblivious to the waiting times that customers face. Had to wait a long time before getting service. The lady who assisted me didn't know the process and was assisted by her colleague during the entire session. Others were acting as if we were invisible. The manager was nice though, he came up to the customers waiting in line to ask what they were there for and assured services. Would never bank here.

Monday morning, less people, they even provide service in mandarin, their printers are sucks, there is long waiting line if you are not lucky sometimes.not bad.

If I could give zero stars to this bank, I would not have hesitated to do that. I went to pick my credit card and card is handed over to me. I have asked to wait in the line to change my pin. I waited for almost 30 minutes for my turn. The lady took another 20minutes to sort things down. She went her colleagues multiple times because she doesn’t have clue what to do. After 20minutes i was told the credit card can’t be moved forward and they are not sure how it is approved online. I am told some vague answers why they can’t move forward. They have wasted 1 hour of my time for nothing. I am never visiting the bank again nor thinking of opening any new accounts or cards in future. Thanks for giving me worst experience!

My business is signed up for auto deposit, it doesn't work, client sends payment and I need to accept + sign in, once signed in, I can only access personal accounts. I call "support", after being on hold and explaining the situation, the call goes silent and eventually they hang up. Of course, I do not get a call back. Such a bad bank for business: (

As a business owner, I couldn't refer less RBC to anyone. Continuous disappointment on every phone interaction. If I didn't know someone working there, I would have lost a mortgage, paid extra fees, taken months to open new bank or investing accounts and many more. The latest one is tonight, after 1.5 hours on hold with RBC Business Customer service, the lady picks up my call, I advised that a credit card has fraudulent charges and she said she'd put me on a quick hold. Under a minute later, I get hit with "Our lines are closed, please call back during operating hours". Unreal!

He used to be the best for me, but in recent years it has become a place of inefficiency and mistakes (except for a few advisers). Unfortunately I am stuck with this branch because all my personal and business accounts are here.but I'm planning a whole RBC change because of this branch.

Worst bank ever! Full of incompetent employees who doesn't know the bank policies and say different things depending on who you ask your questions. Employees don't know how to handle the customer so they just refer matter to their supervisor which all result in a minimum of 20 minute Wait time pretty much every time I went there. Never even consider opening an account at this awful branch.

I have been in many of RBC branches around Canada and even in US, and this branch is by far the worse branch that I had the misfortune of setting foot on. Every time that I want to withdraw money they give me the 3rd degree why I want the money. And even after answering all their questions, they still have a limit $2500 on US dollar and $4000 on Canadian. Thank god I've never asked them for any loans or mortgages, they don't give you your own money imagine if you ask for theirs!

Opening an account was smooth. Elnaz was the manager who helped me open an account and it was very easy. They gave me credit card as well. Good offers for new bank account. Located in downtown Montreal. 1 minute walking from Guy Concordia station. 3-4 ATMs are also available. Tellers also available. Good place to open a bank account at.

First time coming to RBC to activate my account. Told that I needed to have made an appointment before coming. When I called the RBC # to make the appointment, they told me that this was incorrect and that it could have been done by the teller. Went to another branch (Westmount) instead and got things sorted

My husband and I were newcomers and had forgotten which branch to make an appointment with. We went to St. Catherine branch by mistake, but they told us that you do not have an appointment here. We were looking for another branch in the streets when Saman called and asked where you were and why you did not come. I am waiting for you. He guided us and we were able to make the best choice for our bank account. We thank Mr. Saman Fekri, the employee of this branch.

Probably the worst banking experience you can get, list of issues is too long to detail but as a summary it is best to do business (mortgage, etc) elsewhere.

I have a very bad experience with Ali Monzavi.
I booked an appointment online and when I went there he said "why did you come to me for this matter? It is not my job! " and then kicked my out of his office after 30 seconds and said you should meet his colleagues at cash register!

Highly unprofessional, and has the worst customer service. Robert Mongelard, the branch manager thinks he can put himself in front of the bank’s customers, bragging about his 20 years of experience, even though he has been with RBC for no more than 3 years.
Will be moving my RBC accounts to another branch.
Especially that this branch is somehow an international student trap, because of its proximity to CU.

Usually RBC is pretty good but I go to this one sometimes because it’s close to my school and they weren’t helpful nearly as much as other branches I’ve visited.

They will receive you with a smile, but no use, they are worthless. Me and my wife have accounts here. The salaries of both of us credited to this bank's account. But when in a need, after 2 appointments they informed us "officially" that they cannot approve for us a loan of just 5000 bucks! I am originally from India, even a small bank in india will approve this cheaper amount as a loan or line of credit for employed people. In Canada I did not expect this from such a big business entity. They are worthless, not helpful in need, and not a good bank to deal with, indeed!

I think they don't even know basic things about banking and rules. What they say is totally different from what it is in real and all my friends have told me that but I couldn't believe until I experienced it myself. Maybe very bad trainings is the reasom, they should reconsider many things.

I had the worst experience at RBC guy concordia, went there three times to solve my problem but they kept lying to me that they will call to solve it.even asked to see the manager but apparently he was too busy to see me so he told the man that served me to send him (the manager) my profile and that he will took a look at it.maybe is it because I'm a low income student that you treated me like that. I hope that 100 bucks you refused to unblock will be useful for the bank.

Mon expérience avec RBC rue Guy. Est de la grosse marde depuis juin 2019 je n ai pas accès à mon compte en ligne ma carte de guichet.
Mon compte est gelé je ne sais pour quelle raison.
Ayant de l argent dedans car j ai des dépôts directs du gouvernement fédéral et provincial.
Donc j aimerais bien avoir mon argent ils ne veulent pas. Comment puis je faire avoir accès à mon argent.
J ai perdue mon portefeuille le 3 mai 2019 avec toutes mes pièces d identités cartes de crédits etc.
Vous me demandez mes pièces d identités pour fermé mon compte.
Allez vous payez tous mes frais de retards, les frais pour mes paiements que vous refusés de laissé passés.
Dans tous les cas je ne recommande cette banque a personne.

I come this branch 3 times week for transaction. Always good but busy. But now with new manager Robert, I don't like here. He said I need appointment for credit card renewal and a TELLER told me I did not need. Another time, he said I did not need appointment for Quebec Student Loan, and a TELLER told me I need 30 min appointment. When I go to safety box room, the manager is inside alone almost sleeping! It is like he doesn't know much at all! For Iranian clients, go to Saman, he is that best.

They are cutting employees, for example at 10am only 3 cashiers and there is a line of 12 clients. Very slow and not professional, worst bank!

Any time i walk into the branch, there's always a huge line up and i spend on average 30 minutes waiting for my turn. Only reason i come back is because i'm in a rush.wosh they did something about it.

Mon dieu. Carte de credit bloquée dès mon arrivée aux USA, obligé de recevoir une nouvelle carte dans 3 jours ouvrables, aucune autre solution. On n'est plus en 1980 il me semble?

A bank that open to the public at 9am? Seriously? This is a first among alll banks ive been to worldwide! All banks open at 9! Moreover, they close at 4pm, they don’t work on saturdays either, I need to have a day off just to go do some transaction!
Time to move to a new bank!

RBC has been a great ally of both me and my business for many years. However, out of all branches I've visited this is by far the less intuitive to navigate, plus it's at the top 3 branches where I've had to line up the longest time.

I would definitely redesign this branch and add more cashiers.
