The waiting time is super long! I have been here for at least 42 minutes. They should add more tellers and acknowledge our entry to the branch. Luckily there are chair available to wait?

The telephone banking AI is inexcusably awful. Doesn't even pretend to be able to answer basic questions and there's no human available to help.

No need for appointment for small requests like deposit, withdrawal, bill payment etc. Queues can be long during evenings

The best bank and the friendliest and most sincere staff. I am a person who came to Canada without knowing the language, but the bank employees found a way to help me. We would like to thank Mr. Amir very much)

Très bonne accueil. J'ai pas trop durée pour l'attente. J'ai été bien reçu. Le mec m'a écouté et a été très efficace et rapide c'était un super service.

This branch is simply the worst RBC branch ever. Every time I go it takes literally hours! At 45 min in wait time just to talk to a cashier! It's absolutely THE worse. Only 1 of the ladies is actually quick, everyone else is slow AF.

Great service from Ricardio (I think that was his name!). Went in to change my name and he got all the paperwork in super fast and within 3 days my new name showed up on my RBC account. He even made sure not to say my old name and called me sir. Really meant a lot to me to have such warn serving during what could have been a nerve-wracking experience. Thank you!

Une éternité pour débloquer un montant important déposé par chèque alors que j'en ai besoin rapidement. Service extrêmement décevant. Client depuis 10ans qui ne demande jamais rien et qui paye ; mais quand on a besoin d'aide personne ne veut faire un effort. (du moins ceux qui sont en mesure de prendre des décisions) ; on vous expédie en 2 minutes ; a lire les autres commentaires, il y a vraiment un problème de gestion dans cette succursale.

March 2, '22 Sucks. The outer doors get locked at night (to keep out loafers and sleepers) yet also excluding bank members access to the ATMs inside. The simple and inexpensive fix is to equip the door lock mechanism with an electronic Card reader. Right? Duh! Right now, at 9: 15pm, not remembering the hour, was it 9 or 10 pm since the first time I walked all the way there and couldn't get inside, go to the machines.
What do I think Punk? Should I walk the freezing wintery walk again now? Or has it already closed?
Thing is, You RBC folks are Slack to update this web-info page: There's No mention of outer doors/ATM Curfew Hours posted here. Obviously that is as important info as day times You Big Dummies. For all that, I present you with only Two Stars rating. The second star is for the nice fellow been manning the door by day, all pandemic-long. One gratitude star for him and one only for the bank management too flighty and "vacationy" too bother to keep your info-site updated. Simple, but no small oversight. It is Major. Thanks. 1 hour line outside in the cold with very bad customer service. Unable to fix a simple problem, I left being told to call their customer service (which I did twice before visiting). Never visiting this branch ever again. Good luck

If you must see an employee, prepare to wait at least 45 minutes before noon and longer in the afternoon.
The employees are usually pretty efficient but the managers aren't doing a good job managing the place.

Very slow! Hire more employees! Don’t go there if you are in a rush. However, the customer service is nice.

Personal experiences haven't been great. Staff isn't helpful or knowledgable. Teller didn't change my father-in-law's address after confirming it was done. Asked for a check. They provided one but didn't debit the account, which caused the check to bounce and fees were incurred.

Garbage customer service over the phone. They hang up on you if you want to speak to a different representative because the current one you're talking to can't grasp the problem properly. Extremely unprofessional, will be switching banks after this unfortunate encounter.

Personnel tout-à-fait confus. On me donne des informations qu'on contredit au comptoir, on m'a reproché d'avoir obtenu des informations d'un employé autre que celui qui m'a été assigné, on m'a comme menacé de faire bondir mes paiements parce que je n'avais pas respecté leur protocole, alors que j'ai des factures à payer, on refuse de m'imprimer un relevé bancaire sous prétexte que ça a déjà été fait. Les employés ont de la difficulté à faire des calculs basiques comme ajouter 1.2% à une facture, le service est lent, j'ai du attendre 1 semaine pour une traite bancaire. C'est tout-à-fait ridicule! Rappelez-vous que c'est votre argent que vous leur confiez!

Rony ended his break early to come and help me with an urgent company banking issue.

Before Rony I spoke/went to 1 other branch (talked to 4 people) and about 6 phone support people - all absolutely useless/ brainless paper pushers. Rony fixed my issue in literally 10 min, because he paused, took the time to think and truly put me first instead of simply following the SOP's.

If RBC took banking seriously they should promote guys like him who take initiatives instead of promoting the ones that follow their SOP's to the letter - but let's be honest it's not like RBC head-office will ever read this

I visited this branch looking for business credit card application. That was on Wednesday around 17h00. I've been told that the person who can help me has already left. I don't want to deal with this branch ever.

Example of a typical meeting with a "personal banker" here: Leave work early to get to our appointment on time. Person shows up to greet us in the lobby 20 minutes late. We ask questions regarding our mortgage, TFSAs, etc, doesn't know the answers. (I'm thinking "so find out the answers, this is why we're HERE IN PERSON. ") We open a TFSA, thinking we're good to go, we get home only to find out we can't do anything because our investor profile hasn't been updated and the message says we need to either call or visit our branch to get this done. Sigh. (Why didn't the person tell us this in person WHILE we were THERE?) It's just so frustrating dealing with this bank - every time I go there, I leave feeling like sticking a fork into my eyeball.
