The agents did not show up for the appointments! Very disrespectful and irresponsible! I booked appointment with them (online or by phone) a couple of times. I waited a week or two for that appointment. BUT, the reaponsible agent did not call me and I did not receive the link. Absoulutely disappointing!
Impossible to talk to a human by phone. At $10 Billion net profit/year, you would expect them to have a support center with humans. If you call, give your account number then keep repeating "talk to a representative" (key word is representative)
This is the 3rd time and I rather take the time to go and get help from my original branch. To be honest, I get more assistance either by phone or via my web profile. I’m just very disappointed - I don’t think they really understood my issues and allow me to explain my issue and questions related to fraudulent activities. I also wanted to post as they are not very polite… they never asked for my identification, my account number. I said that we can block things still… he block me off and did not want to work in helping…it is out of his control
Terrible experience! I visited this branch for the first time for documents verification because I created RBC account online. The white lady, light curl hairs in her 30's attitude was really bad to me. I was asking simple questions and instead of giving me answers to my simple questions she was counter interrogating me. I think it was her lunch time and she was in rush to go but it does not mean you behave in such a way to your clients. Please improve your customer service and show some respect to your clients.
Edit: Though she was knowledgeable and she completed my request but still she needs to work on her communication skills.
One of the best if not the best branch in Montreal. All the staff members were professional and exceeded my needs by going the extra mile to help me understand everything. Maxime was especially really professional and gave me one of the greatest customer experiences at the branch. Well done.
The service in the RBC in general is pretty bad, but the service in this particular branch is just horrible, right there with FIDO customer service, and the SAAQ.their representatives leave the branch or go on vacations and clients are left in air.
Either the branch is understaffed or they just have not realized that people might walk in and expect some sort of service/help, who knew?
From now on I rather take the longer drive and go to the PIE IX branch instead.
I always appreciate encountering Maxime. Especially when it comes to assistance with business related international wires. We've been coming to the branch for about a year and we always look for Maxime (guy in glasses often sitting at the kiosque on the far left). He's polite, quick, and seriously efficient. An asset to the company, worthy of a raise/promotion. I would give the place 5 stars.but some of the other employees we find on days that Maxime isn't there.are seriously slow. Merci Max et a bientot!
This, like most RBC branches I have dealt with over the course of my life, has the habit of thinking they are both god of your money, and god of your life whilst in their branch (as if they are doing you some kind of favour.)
I find it laughable that people use this bank at all, let alone this branch. If I did not have to do business with them (my job makes me how ever) I would not. Dealing with them is akin to eating broken glass.
I opened my first bank account 33 years ago at this branch, but always go there as my LAST resort maybe like once a year! +Had a business account for 5 years with 50 boul. Crémazie (not better) and had to deposit checks in person every week. So for better service i usually go to 5500 Royalmount-TMR, 5701 Monkland-MTL, 5755 Cavendish-CSL. Even 4851 Van Horne that have bad reviews were good to me. I read about the famous Maxime in the reviews. So i go near closing time, no line ups, 2 clients max, i was hoping not to get that guy but my wish did not come true. At first glance Maxime gave me a pleasant transaction so i let him know about the reviews. I needed 1check but the machine wasn't working, so he spoke to another teller then HE offered me a FREE certified check! After the transaction was done, before leaving he asked for my client card to remove the service fee. I leave satisfied! But then next 3 days were spent on the phone running after my money since no credit was issued from that transaction! Finally had to go back in person to the branch and spoke to i believe was Suzanne an older employee, Maxime was working closeby so she asked him about the fee and he replied we always charge for a certified check! I got SO upset the lady gave me a credit instantly! Tried to make a complaint but never heard back from them. So avoid at all cost this branch and especially MAXIME! He just cannot be trusted. BTW the banks used to change their staff every 1-2 years, so the bank tellers never get to know and RESPECT their clients!
After a bad service, they finally make the people who did it perfectly. Remember the names of M Hugo Veliz, a mortgage specialist, and Ms Ashraf Lalani. During the pandemic and holidays (Christmas and New Year) when no one was working they were working and solving a problem that I couldn’t solve with the other two mortgage specialists. Thank you for your work and all my friends and clients are your future clients for sure. Nikolic
Horrible stuff and royally bad treatment! The staff is rude regardless of your request, especially the elder blond cashier lady. I love being RBC client, but that branch is something else. The only good thing is that they are open on Saturday, otherwise spare yourself a headache and go to Monkland or Hampton branch - they are not afraid to smile and to be nice to their clients.
The worst ever possible experience with staff and branch manager, then made a mistake and when i wanted to speak to manager, teller went to him before me and he came to me without hearing me and see what was the problem, told me it is what it is and she knows very well what she does
Never had any problems with staff at this bank, alway professional. I have numerous accounts and investments in this bank, credit and debit cards. Had to transfer all my funds from Bank of Montreal, due to their disorganized and unprofessional behaviours. I have met with the financial advisors and had dec not advice. Never had prob calling and getting info.from this bank. Thanks.
Very professional and thorough when going through details. Golda helped me open my own student account and was truly thoughtful. I will be sure to recommend her to any of my friends that would want to open an account with RBC.
I have opened my bank account in this bank, the account manager Golda was very easy to communicate and very helpfull, she advised me and clearly explained all the details, she took her time for this. Thanks.i recommend this bank
