Awful costumer service!
3 month ago applied for a new credit card with one of their advisors Pascale jouit, not only haven’t gotten it yet, but also she haven’t been replying my emails for last month, another advisor called me to continue the process and still same experience with the new one as she is not replying my following up emails!
Not recommended at all!

Royal Bank makes billions and have forever with usurious fees etc but won't hire enough tellers. 40 minutes wait with several seniors in the line-up. And when i finally get a teller I complain about it so she refuses to serve me! After 23 years with this branch of the RB, the TD-Bank next door is where all my accounts, personal, mortgage, and business will be going within two weeks. Unconscionable conduct from that female teller. No wonder they have such a low rating.

If it was possible to give zero star I would go for it. Waited my entire weekend for my credit card issue. I am going to switch my bank and stop working with RBC. Now that I am writing this still waiting on the line. I am going to be out of RBC for Sure!

Long lines all the time. Looks like they are praying to NOT having any clients coming in. Long line with 2 cashiers and 5 or 6 employees going back and forth on the background not helping anyone. Have not been to this branch where I was helped promptly not to mention new employees all the time so high rotation rates.

Mr. Marco Rocha has helped me twice and I found him to be very helpful and patient.
The other employees at the branch were usually always welcoming though they do take their time with each customer that may cause some waiting time for the other customers waiting in line.

Long waits, Staff walking around on phones nearly running into you, incorrect amounts entered at the service counters for your transactions. Also really unprofessional how everyone in line hears the staff audible talking about your information. It's not a bank more like a dep.

I put one star cause I can’t put none

This bank is awful the wait times are ridiculous…
two employees working while a bunch are walking around doing nothing.one needs help and goes to the other one working so now we are down to one… they are clueless here, it’s a shame for an RBC branch.

Pathetically slow bring a snack and patients ‍️
They mess up on everyone’s account I don’t understand how rbc isn’t addressing this issue.

I received awful service at this particular branch today. I came here to simply sign a form. There were only two agents taking care of customers and the agent who should have taken me chose to serve an impatient customer behind me in the queue citing that his request was trivial and would be shorter than mine. I ended up waiting 40 mintes because of money printer issues.

I visited this branch on a whim because it was the highest rated branch within a reasonable distance from my business. While I was unable to get my affairs sorted out due to the shortage of staff on the weekend, I found the overall experience to be very positive. We were greeted as we stood in line and even made conversation with a staff member when she thought I resembled someone she knew. When it was our turn at the counter, Laurence was very helpful and attentive and I felt she was doing her best to help despite the aforementioned circumstance. I can say with ease that this was the most positive experience I’ve had at an RBC in all of Montréal so I will definitely be returning. Hopefully it won’t be in vain.

I have been going to that branch for 10 years. In general, the employees are so friendly as professionals always find at least one solution to problems. Perhaps, some employee, could collaborate a little more in helping the client in unknown subjects, at least for me.
In fact I have an account in Desjardins and that if it really is a disaster. They can never solve something, it is always difficult, complicated, they never recognize you as a client

Je me déplace une première fois à la succursale un mercredi pour ouvrir un compte pour entreprise. Une préposée sympathique me dit que personne n'est disponible aujourd'hui et me donne un rendez-vous vendredi. Jusque-là, pas de problèmes.

Je reviens le vendredi pour mon rendez-vous et rencontre mon conseiller: Mr. Messan Kpodar.

Une première rencontre absolument EXÉCRABLE. J'ai l'air de le déranger. Il semble occupé sur son téléphone à texter avec quelqu'un. Me donne des réponses courtes et donne l'impression d'être indifférent tout en regardant par la fenêtre de son bureau pendant que je lui parle.

Je n'en reviens tout simplement pas qu'un tel individu puisse avoir décroché un emploi à cet endroit.

Très déçu!

I spoke with Mr. Messan Kpodar because I needed to renew our investment. The following day, he left on vacations and the renewal was not done.

I had to go again to the branch one week after my appointment with Mr. Messan in order to speak to a manager who took care of it.

Two months after the renewal, I had a few GICs investments accounts with the branch, I realized that Mr. Messan missed one of the investments he was supposed to renew and it was left with an old interest rate.

I called the bank and asked them to fix it and apply the new rate as the other investments. Mr. Messan refused to do so, although it was his mistake. I asked to speak to the manger or that he requested his manager contact me to find a solution to my problem.

Two weeks have passed and as of today I was not contacted by a branch manager! I am extremely disappointed from the service I received. I will certainly start shopping to move my money to another financial institution.

You will find professional and also VERY unprofessional advisers in this branch! One adviser ordered a new card for me without letting me know and my card was blocked! And I couldnt access my debit account for 10 days! She also booked an appointment date with me but she forgot! To confirm the appointment time when we remineded her on the appointment date.she asked at 2: 30 if we can go there at 3: 00!
So cross your fingers when you go there:)

Their new voice recognition system is so annoying.there’s no way to talk to an agent. I’ll change bank just for that.what a bad customer service.and they make you wait 20 mins on the line then.

Mauvais service a la clientèle sauf de 1 employée en particulier qui mérite d’être l’employé du mois!

I feel good when ever I go there, nice and helpful staffs, the only thing that makes me some times get bored is their slow working tellers. I really appreciate their mortgage advisor (Mr. Ehsan) and also the banking advisor (Mrs. Haleh).

J'attends une réponse depuis mercredi et j'en aie jamais reçu. Aujourd'hui Lundi rien. Evidemment je suis tombée entre deux chaise.très déçue.
