Bookstore located near the local hustle and bustle. Has pretty much anything you could want to see as a tourist (and also has books in English).

Bon endroit pour trouver les fournitures pour la rentrée et se laisser tenter par tous les displays qui donnent envie!

Really like this store! Many interesting things, loooots of books!
The only issue is the behavior of some of the staff; they won't answer you in English, only French, which is super awkward and not respectful to the English speaking customers;
Also, something weird happened once as we asked for a wrapping paper for one of our toys but they said the papers are only for fragile things and they refused to give us a sheet, and offered a plastic bag instead! Which is so weird as I expect it to be more expensive than a sheet of wrapping paper, and more importantly, it is obviously not a smart choice environmentally

They sell really nice Manga, although there mostly in french.there is few in english. Friendly employees.

I was treated with racist behaviour at this store.
I was told “speak only in french! ” when I wanted to ask a question from a merchant. I declined and asked my question in English, even though I know French too, and the guy told me that “we’re in Quebec”.
I will never go to Renaud-Bray again and will share this bad experience with all of my friends who are also parts of the international community of Montréal.

Extremely disrespectful and disappointing…

C'était la meilleure succursale Renaud-Bray jusqu'au départ du grand jeune homme à lunettes dans la section jeunesse. Dommage. Je préfère maintenant faire mes achats à la succursale de Sainte-Foy, où les employés sont tout aussi chaleureux!

A qui de droit,

En plus de la commande ci haut mentionnée, j'ai eu recours à Renaud Brais plusieurs fois l'an dernier, afin de me procurer certains articles dont j'avais besoin. Considérant le service rapide, les produits reçus tel que commandés, m'inciteront certainement à répéter l'experience à la prochaine occasion.

Livres variés, carnet de citations secrètes, de jeux afin de stimuler l'esprit, sans oublier les gâteries de toutes sortes et les différents produits de beauté, tout ce que j'ai commandé me fût livré rapidement. Un service de premier ordre, et une expérience à répéter à la premiére occasion.

J'ai passé plus de 2 heure dans ce beau magasin remplie de belle découverte j'y retournerais c'est certain

Ouvert plutard que les autres magasins et service rapide, efficace et tres courtois, beaucoup de choix en magasin.

J'adore se magasin. Puis les vendeurs sont super sympa bonne ambiance! Sa donne envie d'y travailler

Je ne comprendrai jamais bien cet endroit. Évidemment les librairies ne sont plus ce qu'elles étaient jadis et on doit y vendre autres choses que des livres, mais on peut s'y perdre comme dans un Dolorama "de luxe".

Pour la section revues, j'adore.

Les livres, on y trouve pas mal tout ce que l'on cherche, mais la beauté de l'endroit est liée à ses employés et l'excellent service reçu. On a su me conseiller rapidement et efficacement.

Excellent book selection (mostly French, though), very different from the one at Indigo. If you want true literature, philosophy, history etc, and can read French, this is the place to go. The gift section is also really cool!

Super pour trouver des livres en français mais leur service notamment les commandes en ligne est vraiment à désirer

Beau magazin. Section jouets bien fournie. Les aubaines au sous sol sont sympathiques. Mais ce qui m'a le plus impressionné est la section magazines. La sélection est vaste et variée, félicitation au responsable!

C'est une petite caverne d'Ali baba pour moi. J'aime bien y allé. Mais attention à ton portefeuille! En te laissant trop tenter par quelques petits articles mignons dont tu n'as au fond pas vraiment besoin, le coût total à la caisse risque de te surprendre!

Has a nice selection of books and board games, but nearly all their board games are in French which is unfortunate if you like games in English or Bilingual.

À part le sourire dans le visage des employés, tout me plaît à cette succursale. Séparé en deux étages, avec le sous-sol servant à offrir des rabais inattendu, ce Renaud-Bray a de tout. Le coin papeterie est très grand et les grandes cartes de souhait sont belles à voir.

Grande sélection de produits. Le magasin est en ordre et c'est facile de chercher un livre. Très agréable d'y passer de temps en temps.

Mostly French books and accessories are carried here. However they also have a decent selection of books, newspapers and magazines in English. The staff were friendly and polite.

Good for non-digital gifts and kids's toys. Go downstairs and you will find discounted products (for example, get a coffee book table)

It's not the biggest but they ad what I was looking for, an English (only) dictionary, removing a because there's no parking

You have books, toys, Tupperware, kitchen supplies, however it's a bit over price that's why I give only 2

No rebates on damaged books at this location so if you’re like me and wish to buy a clean looking copy, make sure they have more than one in stock.

Large selection of books and comics from France. Stationary, pens, gifts bag/stocking stuffer type of gadgets and candies. Also has toys.

Excellent conseil du vendeur barbu, fort sympathique au demeurant! La librairie est bien achalandée et le rayon jeunesse est également magnifique! Situé à proximité immédiate du métro, dans le charmant quartier de Côte des neiges!

J’adore traîner dans ce magasin et acheter des trucs inutiles mais cute! Il y a une bonne variété de livres surtout en français. La seule mauvaise expérience que j’ai eu c’est lorsque j’ai réservé un CD et ils ne m’ont jamais rappelé. Sinon, le service est très bien. Plusieurs personnes sont disponibles pour répondre aux questions.

Nice store, well maintained, clean, lots of good books and gadjets. The staff is friendly and helpful!

This place has a great variety of products and also they are original and cool. But in Cotes- Neiges store the employees are no really interested in give good service. I asked to three different workers about a product and they were not willing to help. And the last one was very impolite.

Great selection of books, but prices for toys are more expensive than other stores that sells the same toys
