I would like to give an updated review.
What I realize about this place is this. There is not a lot of staff around here, but they all seem quite competent, when you find one.
Recently a fella cut drywall to size to fit in my car. I don't know if this service is always available, but he cut and measured with a good attitude.
They also have a panel saw to break down sheet board to accurate sizes. Major bonus for your DIY.
Recently I did business with the custom kitchen department. The fella Alexander was really helpful and competent in securing me a special order.
Another time they went deep into the back to find a tile saw.
In hindsight, many times these folk have helped me out.

In my estimation, they continually up their game at this store. More, and more competent help is to be found throughout the store.

Beau magasin, employés sympathique, reste que l’hygiène de base devrait être revu avec la personnel. L’ODEUR DE LA PRÉPOSÉE AUX CAISSES était horrifiques, une douche de temps en temps…

I’ve been a long time client of Reno-Depot Hill and have spent well over $100K in the store. I was just in trying to update my VIP pro card and was very surprised that no one in customer service could/would speak english. Very disappointed and will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Personnel accueillant, pas tellement occupé samedi matin avant 09h00. Belle selection, prix competitifs.

I tried ordering online for a in store pickup. I went to pickup my order, first they told me that I had canceled it. After I showed them I didn't, they then said they would get my order, after another 20 min waiting they told me it won't be ready till tomorrow because the store was closing and to come back then. Wasted a lot of time.

Most things needed for home improvement, renovation, constructions, tools, power tools, fasteners, electrical devices, batteties are there. Been there many times over the years and they always had what I needed, since the store is well furnished and very large. There are often good rebates et promotions to save some bucks.

Incompetent cashiers, many things missing prices. Self checkout is garbage because none of the prices scan properly.

French Rona is amazing. It’s open on different holidays from the Ontario side. Really helpful staff and great location.

Don't always have flooring or wall panels in stock. One is and has been on the display wall for years and they have never carried it in the store. Crazy

Encore une place avec des caisses qu'on doit faire soi-même. Tb. J'ai dû laisser les achats que j'avais besoin pour nos rénovations. Mais ça été parfait j'ai trouvé mieux ailleurs avec service.

Bon service, particulièrement aux retours. Pas de niaisage comme ailleurs ‘c’est quoi la raison du retour? ” Tu apportes ton affaire dans son emballage, ton reçu et c’est vite réglé.

PS: SVP ramenez votre bois de chauffage Facto avec le milieu blanc, c’était le meilleur.

Fantastic store with lots of variety of items and often specials and discounts and sales with my VIP card also I get another discount. Often items unavailable at Home Depot can be found here. Flooring is often on Sale here, hardwood, vinyl plank, engineered and so on, ceramic tiles.

Le service en plomberie de deux jeunes commis a été au-dessus de nos attentes. Samedi 11 fêvrier.

Unlike the other big box hardware stores, Reno-depot is more oriented towards contractors or skilled home owners. With the possible exception of their greenhouse/garden supplies, most of what they sell is hardware in one form or the other.

Update: . They've installed self check out counters. Hate those things.

Its got very affordable camping, gardening, house fitting and tools for handy man. I would say prices ate cheaper than Ottawa cheapest Walmart on BBQ sets for picnic. This GrillSmith black was less than $90
