Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Airport

Great service at the front desk and restaurant. Food we ok. Over half of the outlets in the room didn't work. The rooms were clean.

We stayed and parked there for 2 weeks while on vacation. I mistakenly left my passenger window down. The hotel put a plastic bag over the window and tape it shut, preventing snow from getting in. I really appreciate that they went the "extra mile" for me. Also, the rates are very good, it is conveniently located near the airport, and the shuttle driver was very helpful. Definitely stay there for park and fly!

The parking bugs me.everywhere in the neighbourhood the parking is free and spacious. Here charged and cramped.

Staff is awesome.
Food is wonderful.
Rooms are in great order and comfortable.

WARNING! STOLEN CARS!

I have never written a review for a hotel before, but in order to potentially save other people from suffering the same fate we did, I felt compelled to leave this review.

We stayed one night at the Residence Inn Montreal Airport by Marriott in order to do their park and fly option.
We stayed at the hotel February 6 and left the morning of February 7 to go on our trip, leaving the car parked "securely" at the hotel. We returned the night of February 18 to discover our car had been stolen, despite the fact that we had parked right next to the main entrance to the hotel. The manager Anna’s initial response was to offer us a taxi and tell us it’s not their fault. We live two hours away and by this point it was nearly 11pm on a Saturday night. Finally she agreed to put us up in a room for the night as we literally had nowhere to go and no way to get home. She was unapologetic and refused to take any responsibility. In fact she seemed very irritated to have been disturbed.

When the police came to take the report, they told us that this hotel is well-known for car theft. Recently the hotel was forced to install a gate to try to stop the thieves. But clearly that has not fixed the problem. According to the cops and to the hotel’s own staff, cars are stolen from this hotel and the attached courtyard Marriott several times per week.

I would like to add that a few employees were sympathetic and Sébastien was particularly helpful, agreeing to refund us for the night and parking (frankly if he hadn’t, we would have essentially been forced to pay $400 to have our car stolen), but it was still nice to not have to fight tooth and nail for it. Other employees seemed to think the situation was funny, smirking and giggling.

The hotel itself is not great, the breakfast terrible, and there is clearly no security. Avoid at all costs unless you would like to have your car stolen.

In short, I would rather clean the toilets at the airport with my tongue than stay here again.

Family spent one night here on our way to Quebec city. Great location away from hustle and bustle of downtown. Included breakfast was really good. There are nearby restaurants and entertainment a 5 min walk from hotel. We played indoor mini golf and then went to a sports bar for drinks and snacks.

Pilots. Engineers. Business managers.needs something a bit more upscale.but that could be a marriott thing.

This hotel is very close to the airport, there is a minibus to pick up and drop off to the airport every day, it takes about 13 minutes by car. The room is relatively new, and the facilities inside are relatively complete, including a large refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave oven, coffee machine, coffee, knives, forks, spoons, pots, bowls, basins. There are desks and sofas. Literally a small apartment. The price is 205 Canadian dollars a night including breakfast. The hotel is very close to the shopping mall, ten minutes walk. We stayed here for four days after Christmas. We had a paid restaurant for dinner in the evening and it was a very comfortable stay.

We stayed only one night. The room was quite large (2 queen + pullout). The decor in our suite was slightly dated, but functional. The kitchen was handy as was the free breakfast (pretty good variety of foods). All interactions with staff were positive and all were friendly and helpful.

I'm giving it 5 stars as an overall package/value.

Nice modern lobby and always very clean. The rooms are quite large with many amenities including an indoor swimming pool, great for the cold winter days and extended stays.

We did not enjoy our stay other than the use of the pool. Room was small for a one bedroom suite. Poor air circulation and the room was warm.
Food was gross. No salt or butter? How do you have toast/bagel with no butter?
Room smelled of cigarette and marajuana.
When we booked the room there was no charge for parking and all we got was “ we started charging not too long ago”. Tried leaving the parking lot with ticket and it said “time expired”. No way to contact the front desk, so we had to back up and go back in to get another parking ticket. She had a pile of them sitting there do clearly it is a problem.
Pool was good and the right temperature.
Not sure if we will return. This was our 5th stay at this location.

We have been staying at this location for many years, because of our circumstances we always book a 1 bedroom suite.unfortunately on this last stay the room had a smell of cigarettes which was not pleasant and then we even had the pleasure of being able to smell pot through the rooms ventilation system. The 1 bedroom suite felt small and confined and to boot they now charge for parking at that location. The biggest complaint we have is the handicapped parking, whoever decided where and size obviously has never had to load or unload a wheelchair person, the spaces need to be much wider so that there is room to bring the wheelchair up to the door

It was a wonderful experience at the residence inn for us today. Especially their customer service was so good and they care and value their clients.

Hotel did not changed at all since 2019. Breakfast is rather spartan and in the last weekend they shamless charged 4 Days 1000 $a night when regularly is about 259. This is modern robbery. I find it without respect for longterm customers.

This hotel has got to be the best place I’ve ever stayed for an extended period. The staff is amazing. The free breakfast is more than a 5 star meal. The laundry and fitness rooms well kept. Everything is clean and top notch. Housekeeping does a wonderful job with keeping everything clean. Next time I come here, it’s gonna be this place.

Everything here is fantastic. The rooms and staff are great as well as free breakfast 7 days a week. The managers also do dinner for everyone 3 nights a week as well.
