Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Westmount / Hotel 2170 Lincoln

I came for surgery downtown at Westmount. This was the perfect location, and the staff couldn’t have been better. My husband stayed there while I had my operation and enjoyed the delicious free breakfast every morning. There are grocery stores etc steps away for meals and snacks. Having a little kitchenette saved so much money! When I got out of the surgical centre they provided me with a raised toilet seat, AND they let us check out 2 hours later so we didn’t have to rush to the airport. They were so accommodating, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Thank you to ALL your staff for making this a perfect stay! God bless you all for your kindness to compassion to me after my operation.
We can’t wait to come back here to stay as tourists and check out downtown! Thank you again for everything, and see you again soon!

It has been a great experience for my stay in 2170 Hotel west Mountain Montreal. Madam Leonie Leclerk is very nice and helpful. Will recommend to friends.

Léonie and her team are very easy to work with. They care about their groups and ensure a very positive experience. From the minute you engage with a booking until the end of your stay, they are supportive. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone bringing a team, school group or tour to Montreal. I use this hotel often and the care for our students is consistent every time.

My 2nd time staying at this property this year and it 100% suits my needs.
Great neighbourhood with older, classic-style apartment buildings. The Metro is close by as is a Bixi bike share station, with an excellent cycling network on De Maissoneuve. Otherwise, the walking options along Sherbrooke, De Maissoneuve or Ste Catherine are great.
The staff at the hotel are terrific, with a very easy check-in.
Both times, I had a room with a balcony and city view which is worth the rate alone!
Will be back!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly pleasant, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was just what I needed for a good night's sleep, and it had all the amenities I could ask for.

What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptionally responsive and friendly staff. Their dedication to making guests feel welcome and ensuring a memorable experience was truly commendable.

Hotel is nice and well located. It is an old apartment building converted into hotel.
Breakfast was excellent for the family.
Parking is only for small cars. Vans and trucks should park in nearby forum underground lot.
We really enjoyed the stay.
Our trip got soured because the staff unfortunately forgot to clean our room after we asked twice.
If they had cleaned it we would have rated 5* for the trip.
I liked the location and quiet neighbourhood
5 minute drive to downtown or you can also take quick metro.

So if you need a hotel in the center of Montreal, this is the hotel. Admittedly, the rooms are a bit old and need updating, but they are spacious. The automatically included breakfast is excellent and most importantly the location of the hotel is simply close walking distance to everything:
the old City
The old port
Saint Catherine Street
Montreal Underground
Farmers market.
The service at the hotel is inviting and friendly.warmly recommended.
By the way, a taxi ride to the hotel (recommended and the cheapest) from the airport is only 50 Canadian dollars also on the way back and takes about 20-25 minutes.have fun

The room condition is good and the room is big. Tableware for making meals, an induction oven, and even a dishwasher are provided. Cars can be parked at the hotel, but SUVs must be parked outside one block away. The location is about a 10-20 minute walk to the city center.

We stayed over the Easter long weekend. The hotel is probably an old apartment building. We had a one bedroom apartment kind of suite. It was clean and comfortable. They are walking distance from the art gallery. All other attractions are further away. The staff responded quickly to our requests, and the clerks downstairs are knowledge and helpful. The only thing to keep in mind is that their underground parking is for small sedans only. If your car is a bit taller, you have to park at an additional outdoor parking about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The parking is not secured, and our car got broken into.
Breakfast is average.

Fantastic service, good breakfast. The view from the room was amazing. They have laundry, car parking facility and little marche on the reception as well. Overall we had an excellent stay for about 7days. Great place for families too.

Loved my stay here! I was greeted warmly upon arrival, and sent off warmly upon departure. Front-desk staff were incredibly pleasant, room was quaint and simple yet comfortable and enjoyable, the view was gorgeous, and I loved the addition of there being a kitchen full of supplies, as well! I would only say there were some minor cleanliness issues, heating wasn’t always consistent (especially in colder weather), and I’d love if their delicious & complimentary breakfast could be served for a little while longer, perhaps until 10 or 11 a.m. Overall, though, this is me just being a bother… the stay was 10/10 fantastic and I’d absolutely recommend for anyone looking to have a positive stay in the wonderful city of Montreal.

Conveniently located close to Rue Sainte Catherine but in a quiet neighborhood. Wonderful breakfast each morning. Lovely rooms, very clean!

J'ai fais plusieurs hôtels dans ma vie avec ma famille et celui-ci, pour la qualité et le prix résonable je le recommande autant pour les couples que famille! Lorsque vous avez un problème avec votre chambre, l'entretien vient rapidement le régler.

Chambre propre, personnels à l'écoute, petit déjeuner à chaque matin avec énormément de choix et très bon! J'y ai séjourner 2 semaines dû à l'hospitalisation de mon fils à l'hôpital et il m'ont fait un prix d'hôtel en conséquence se qui était très apprécié! Ns avons toutes apprécié je recommande puisque s'est près de tout!

Chambre agréable et classique. L'équipe à l'accueil est vraiment sympathique. Le stationnement n'accepte que les petites voitures puisque le plafond est très bas

Apparently this hotel will no longer be a Marriott on November 1st and they moved my reservation to the Airport. No help, no customer service with Marriott to try and find a compromise for something back in downtown Montreal. Cancelled my reservations, very disappointed

It's a nice hotel, stayed there for 21 days. Bed and breakfast included, not very expensive and friendly staff.

Very good deal for the price. Very good location for us but not as central as other downtown hotels. Good public parking available close-by at a cheaper rate than the hotel offers.
I stayed with my wife for three nights in late November when the hotel was no longer affiliated with Marriott. It is now booked through Airbnb only. The breakfast food was very good and the service at breakfast and at the front desk were very good. Overall well managed. The rooms need some work. Bathrooms and kitchens are all fixed up and very nice. Good beds, clean sheets. Full living room in our unit but furniture a bit dated. The windows are a problem, quite old, quite leaky, some banging.

The accessibility in this hotel is a joke. I can't even get out or in my door without having to call reception. I can't even get to the water taps in the bathroom or kitchen, forcing me to buy water bottles. If this building goes up in flames, so do I. The tv has no access to internet which forces you to a limited number of channels which all have commercials.

I had a great experience with Marriot, they are very neat and clean. The parking place was big and also secured. The staff was prompt and friendly.

The breakfast is buffet. But if you stay there for 2 weeks.they repeat the food all the time.and you get bored of the same food after few days.
They charge extra over the mentioned amount in the bill almost 10% more ~ 300 CAD.this is something never mentioned at the booking time.and They say they will refund the amount in 3-5 business days.and my friend didn't get in 3-5 days. I got refund in 1 days after i checked out. (-1)

The house keeping is not good (-1)
* I found the undergarments of the last person who used the sofa bed in suite room.
* i think the vacuuming could have been better

They do replace towels and all. And also gives all the other consumables in a timely manner or on a call to reception.

+1 to people who work at the breakfast counter and reception. They are always very courteous and always there to help for anything.

In Short - They just have to improve on house keeping. And avoid charging extra amount for hotel stay to refund it later.
Other things are good. If there are some more breakfast options it could be good or atleast add Nutella

Very quiet place and great front desk staff. And there are enough eating places within walking distance.
And only 10 to 15 mins ride to the downtown area.

Who ever the lady is who is in charge of the breakfast area should be commended for her friendly, helpful manner. We were at breakfast for 3 mornings and she was on top of everything. So pleasant and bustling with energy.
Honestly, she made our day begin with joy. Kudos.

The room was well designed and spacious. Included breakfast was good. 27$ fee for underground parking. They did accommodate our late check out request.

Great place for long stays, wonderful service, all the staff makes you feel at home. Located near to restaurants, stores and Atwater subway station

- Wi-Fi and Internet access is consistent
- Good views of Mont Royal from the north-facing rooms
- Parking is expensive and street parking options should be considered

What a hidden gem. Very unassuming but 5 stars for service. Great little spot with a balcony and nice kitchen. Rooms were clean and the place was PERFECT as a central location. The day I needed to leave, I asked for a late checkout and the staff accommodated me for 3 extra hours, as my flight left a bit later. Super impressed. I will be back. To be fair, the breakfast was more of a 3 star, but the service made up for it.

Room was spotless, standard Residence Inn. Service was outstanding. We checked in at 1: 30 in the morning due to a mixed flight connection. The desk was so nice and made us laugh after more than 24 hours of traveling. It was greatly appreciated. I can't say much about the location as we were there less than 8 hours, but it seemed safe. They did help with getting a taxi back to the airport and it was there in less than minutes. Highly recommend.

Best hotel near montreal downtown. Room is big and balcony has got awesome view of city. Awesome breakfast and huge option on food part. Also they have option for attached kitchen rooms.

5mins walk to metro. Nearest there is a shopping mall, inside that mall you will find metro.

It's the downtown area and you will find tons of supermarket, mall, resturant, coffee shop, outing places.

Hotel service is nice and staffs are helpfull. I was here during 2017 summer.

Service was strange and off-putting when I arrived (late at 8 pm, no concession given to me whatsoever for the next day!) My credit card was used for reservations but I wanted to use Interac. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT ACCEPT INTERAC FOR PAYMENT. So the GSA rang my cc through without my authorization for hundreds of dollars (included room deposit of $250) and then i was told to withdraw money, directed to the in-hotel atm. Which cost some crazy amount and has a limit $. I then ran to the nearest Royal Bank at 8: 30pm. By the time i got in my room it was 9pm. Exhausted and angry with the issues i was put through! Then i was told that a $27 fee for hotel parking during checkout. Btw drive an SUV and the entrance of underground parking has a huge hanging height limit sign which scratched the top of my roof rack! I was livid!
Im not happy with the service. The breakfast was nothing to talk about.eggs lacked any taste or flavor and watery.and rest of the food was sub par. The only good thing at breakfast is their waffle station.
I paid over $250 for a one night stay. Not worth it and not likely i will be staying there again for a business trip or leisure trip. Last thing is, the hotel is situated around high drug use area and needed something in the mornin and along my walk, many tweeked out people just hanging around the streets at 8 am, and garbage strewn all over the streets. Too much for me to handle. I wish i could ask for some money back but probably will be turned down.
