Restaurant Boustan

Amazing food.
We tried shawarma plates here, both chicken and beef, and all was great. Love the spices they use. Anyone looking for good quick food this is the place to visit.

I was passing through Montreal, and this restaurant showed up with great reviews. They really deserved all the great reviews.

The worst branch, I ordered chicken plat with rice and potatoes, he pit a little bit shawarma and fill the the rest potatoes and rice. I told the guy he was very rude, he said it comes like that.

Scam artists. I used a pre-paid gift card to pay for my food and after I swiped, the cashier told me something was wrong and it didn't work so he called the manager over. Manager told me to do it again and said I wasn't charged the first time and that I can check when I get home. I swiped again and paid successfully. Got home and checked my balance and I was indeed charged twice.

Not a fan of this Atwater location. The one on Crescent is much better. The chicken is dry and tasteless, the portions of chicken or beef are very small and overall, not worth the price you pay. I ordered from here multiple times and the chicken sandwich is more like a lettuce/coleslaw with dressing sandwich. The beef sandwich is very similar, dry and little beef in there. Amazes me how some business just put a massive price tag on their sandwiches or plates and fail to match the value! It's becoming very common nowadays, yet they forget that this is a recipe for eventually shutting down because of lack of customers.

The shawarma is not great and it's kinda slow, but having such good desserts and drinks in the same shop is a great idea.

Tried the Vegan sandwich and vegan platter.
For the platter they need to work a bit on the taste.
Friendly staff, fast service.
I recommend the vegan sandwich but you need 2 if you’re a guy.

Went here on 3 different days.

1st day: Shawarma wrap (Little burnt pita bread and a spoon of chicken)
2nd day: Shawarma PLAT (All I can see was rice and potatoes and a spoon of chicken)
3rd day: BOL poulet (Rice with more Rice and 1/2 spoon of chicken)

I think they should change their dishes name to “JUST RICE and POTATOES”.

Ordered a mix plate and was very disappointed with the meat. Especially the chicken. It was basically meat crumbs. Tiny extremely dry pieces and a very small portion at that. Considering that it cost me 18 bucks for a very averaged sized plate I definitely didn't get my money's worth. Would not recommend.

I ordered a couple of beef sandwiches. Although it was tasty seems like they really cheaped out on the protein. With Adonis right around the corner and another Shawarma resto at the food court at Alexis Nihon, this would be my 3rd option.

Not sure why there are some one star reviews about food poisoning (maybe another location?). I've gone twice now in the last two weeks, and the food is very good. Both times were during lunch hour and it's been quick, friendly service. I ordered the beef shawarma plate and everything from the sauces, the beef cuts, potatoes were freshly made.

The cleanest Boustan of the lot, probably because it's new but all the same. Their Dippity Doh bits with white and milk chocolate toppings will get you addicted if you have a sweet tooth, especially because they are practically free. I always find their staff very accommodating.

Had a chicken shawarma plate last night. Probably one tablespoon of chicken in it. Will never return.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
One hour after eating their boustan bowl, I got extreme food poisoning. Have had bad experiences with their other branches in the past and tried giving this one a chance since its new and recently opened a few days ago. BIG MISTAKE. I don’t how they are still allowed to stay open. There are many reviews on their other branches where people have got food poisoning as well. There is clearly a severe hygiene issue. Very disappointed! NEVER AGAIN! Don't go here unless you want severe food poisoning!

I had Boustan in different places and never had any issue with their food quality. I understand it’s brand new, they are working on improvement, and I had low expectations. I ordered their Chicken Shawarma platters and they were not fresh at all. My wife and I were both having stomach pain right after finishing our meals. To make it worst, my wife is pregnant, not cool, and will surely take legal action should anything happens to my newborn child. Hope they improve on their food quality.

They quick, clean, respectful.except one thing I dont like is their Shawarma meat, its not fresh at all and seem long time even the taste weird. Otherwise is fine.
