Writing this review based on the fact my wife and I used to go to Peters Cape Cod fairly frequently and the prices were always reasonable. Walked in tonight asked to check the menu saw that fish and chips had gone to $32.95 SERIOUSLY. We just walked out would never pay that for fish and chips, really thats pub food. People could go to numerous more upscale places for less. Example we went to The Keg top sirloin was $30, prime rib $38. No comparison to FISH AND CHIPS, talk about gouging. Until prices become more reasonable will not be back.

An exceptional seafood experience at this restaurant! Their wide selection of fresh fish dishes is outstanding.
We were treated to a delicious their clam chowder as an appetizer and we thoroughly enjoyed it. With its rich and savory flavors, it's an absolute must-try that will leave you craving more.
Dessert are also very tasty, especially their key lime cake.
From start to finish, the dining experience here is nothing short of fabulous. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Sur le site d'y ouvert jusqu'à 23 hre on arrive là vers 20h45 et on nous a dit que la cuisine était fermée, le cuisinier était parti!

Despite the average rating this place had great and fresh seafood. My 2.5 pounder was excellent. Having lived in Boston for over 20 years, I have admit the the name was not just for show. Great service and terrific patio on the river.

Well, 1st time to the resto and it was bad / sad. Server took 30 minutes to tell us we couldn't order garlic shrimp as an appetizer, even though I ordered other appetizers that she didn't order yet! It was her 1st day and the resto was almost empty! I did get my beer in 5 minutes.

The food was delicious but i think maybe the cupped sauce or salad dressing was not fresh. Im pretty sick and so is my mom. We drove home feeling nauseous just after we left the restaurant.

Group of 12 for lunch. The plates were humongous. Fish 'n chips, lobster roll, mussels, Cajun shrimp, seafood platter.all delicious! Special thanks to our waiter (wish I would have asked his name) Very serviceable and friendly.

Not to thrilled to write this review, considering I was a regular from about 2009 until I moved in 2016. I don't think I have ever seen a restaurant go as far downhill as this one.
My friend and I were seated at a dirty table, that the hostess had to clean off when she went to seat us. Now normally this would not be an issue, if they were incredibly busy or full, but there were multiple open seats available to us on the terrace.
The prices on the food has increased significantly and the quality has definitely decreased. Paying $33 for fish and chips is an insult, considering you can go to some upscale restaurants and get a 12oz New York Strip. The fries were heavily underseasoned as well. There was not any salt or pepper on the table to season our fries with either, so the option was eat the barely seasoned food, or send it back.
I do have to give huge kudos to our waiter though. He noticed that we have not been served while sitting at our table and came up to ask us if we have been served, and then took out order, even though our table was not one of the tables he was responsible for. Absolutely outstanding employee, and I hope he can find a better place of employment soon, he deserves way better than this establishment gives him.
If you want fish and chips, just go to a pub and pay 40% less. If you are willing to pay for seafood, go to any moderately upscale restaurant, and you will most likely get better for the same price or slightly cheaper.

Fish&Chips overpriced and below average, to say the least. The other items on the menu are also very pricey and rather disappointing. Grilled fish was soggy, the salad had one slice of cucumber and the rest plain lettuce, the batter was overfried.
The terrace could use a deep clean and a refurbish, so do the plates, cuttlery and glasses. Overall, no good value for money.

Food was great and the owner treated us like friends! I will recommend this to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Le serveur es venu porter la facture et la machine interac en même temp sur la machine interac il s'était deja mis 30% de tip sans un resto qui n'est pas a recommander seulement pour cette pratique irresponsable du serveur! Très insatisfait de cette méthode de paiement ou les serveur choisis eu même leur tip

Tho restaurant has been a staple for my family since I was a kid. Great to be able to eat there tonight even as we have no power at home. Still on the winter menu for now but I recommend for anyone needing a nice warm high quality meal!

If you're in the mood for some truly fantastic seafood, then you need to head on over to Restaurant Cape Cod. The Cape Cod Clam Chowder is some of the best I've ever had, and the lobster is cooked to perfection. The views of the ocean are simply breathtaking, and the service is wonderful. This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants!
