Super service, serveur très courtois. Pierrade excellent et les desserts sont excellente aussi.

Interesting concept using hot stone plates to cook your own slices of meat. There is quite a large selection of meats to sample: bison, deer, elk, kangaroo, emu, beef, chicken, and more. As an experience, it's quite novel.

We tried escargot (snail) here. For small foods, this establishment places number one. For my first time with more unique foods, I would say that we were in good hands with very intelligent and equally as unique, waiters who were passionate of the menu selections. I went from “ooo snail, nervous” to “until next time! ”. This is definitely a defining spot where you’re going to have a tasting session and a fine dine.

For context, we also had their fondue w/bread nuggets, and that helped satisfy our hunger.

Nourriture et service très bons, mais beaucoup d'enfants et de bruits, avec les prix aux menus on s'attendait d'avoir un souper en tête a tête.

We book the dinner at this restaurant every time we come to Mont Tremblant. They never disappoint. The food is fantastic, great wine selection and hot stone is always fun for kids and adults alike. Definitely recommend!

Delicious food. Wonderful staff. 4 adults with 4 teenage boys who really enjoyed experimenting with different meats and cooking on the hot stones. Thank you for a great experience.

Cute French chalet-style place. Visited on New Year's Eve as a couple, so we had our pick from a prix fixe menu ($95/person, +). Overall, the food was good, not great. Service started out strong but wait times for additional drinks and the cheque grew longer as the night went on. Wait staff were friendly and very accommodating to special requests.

Started with fondue and the tartar. Both were excellent. Most of the table got filet on the hot stone, but I opted for the lamb, and my wife got the salmon. The salmon was very good, and the lamb decent but the filet on the hot stone was better. Also tried crocodile for the first time (and last, though it was okay) Service was great.

La bouffe excellente mais je n'ai pas aimé toutes les différentes senteur de nourriture qui cuit un manque d'aération je pense.

The fondu was very nice as a starter with the perfect amount of bread to go along with it.

Wine was reasonably priced also a bonus.

Vegetables were all well seasoned and well cooked.

We had the hot stone, which was great very tasty and good quality meats and fish.
THE ISSUE WAS the shocking and very disappointing disgusting sauce display on the side that was 3 MAYOnaise style sauces in paper cups. (Paper cups REALLY!)
One seemed like it was Big Mac sauce, they said it was pesto and sun-dried tomato please remove this from ur menu!
The other tasted like cesar salad dressing made with you guessed it MAYO and the last was MAYO and ketchup with some extra sugar.

Also the style of the resto has clearly not been updated since it was opened with a very old unpainted grandmother style tablecloth look.

Absolutely a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly, very attentive and the food was amazing. Will be coming back here again.

Very unfriendly for first time customer, be aware. First time here, ordered hot stone dish with meat. Server was fully aware it’s our first time here. We didn’t know how to eat the hot stone, which meat is what, should we cook them ourselves or someone will cook for us. After the hot stone being served, no one came up to introduce the meat and method for 10 mins until I caught the server to ask. My meat were over cooked already at the time. After we finished the hot stone, waited a long time for someone to come to collect the stone. It’s extremely hot in a summer night. The I had to ‘catch’ the server again for dessert.
Had high expectations expectation for this place; unfortunately won’t come back again.

High-end menu and mid/high-end prices, very poor quality and experience. The atmosphere feels similar to an all-you-can-eat buffet. Their main attraction of cooking on volcanic rock is purely a novelty - we avoided it after seeing other tables that ordered it. The sides are what you would expect at a retirement home. The server struggled with recommendations, only assuring us that everyone orders the volcanic rock entrées here.

Cozy and charming home feel with excellent service and well prepared foods. Their specialty is serving a variety of meats on a platter of hot stones that you cook your food yourself. In addition to the regular steak and seafood wh8ch are very good, they also offer exotic meats such as kangaroo and Ostrich, wild boar if want to try something different. Fun for the family or as a date night special meal, you should definately give it a try️

Our family of 4 ate here on vacation from the US, once on each of two trips this week and the summer of 2019. My 18 yo son loved it the first time and asked to return. It is pricey but the hot stones are a cool experience! The staff is helpful and attentive. All four of us got the hot stones both times we went (salmon, chicken, shrimp, beef - my 18 yo adventurous eater tried alligator, ostrich, kangaroo, and duck). The food was extremely fresh and well seasoned. The sugar pie we had for dessert could have been better - the crust seemed store-bought and though I have never made it myself I wonder if it would be better made in a phyllo dough crust. The tiramisu was very good. Would return again.

Great food and great service! We had the Canadian stone Quebec deer bison and elk, and the calf plate. The lava stone is the specialty and we noticed that most customers ordered some version of it. You must try it.

Tout était parfait! Très bon et quoi dire des assiette sur pierre volcanique ambiance chaleureuse et notre serveuse wow wow wow qui nous a fait goûter à un digestif tout à fait gratuitement nous avons adoré notre expérience et nous y retournerons merci

Best meal I ever had. The service was great. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was romantic. Wish we had similar restaurant and food experience in Toronto with stone cooking. Will come here again for sure.

Very good quality food with a wide selection of meats, both familiar and exotic, to choose from. They also have an option to have your meat served on a hot stone which allows you to cook it to your preferred temperature - a fun option for a change.
The only issue we had was being seated at a dirty table which still had dishes from the previous diners at it. Nothing was done until a server asked if we were finished to which we informed him we hadn’t even started. To his credit, he immediately moved us to a clean table and apologized.

Resto Français. Environnement agréable et rustique. Vous choisissez vous cuisiner sur pierrade. Belle expérience!

Les pierrades sont excellentes. Un souper parfait pour toute la famille. C’est santé, haute gamme mais abordable. On y va souvent car tout ce qu’il y a sur le menu est excellent!

Extraordinarily high quality presentation of food, of which there is quite a bit to choose from. Salmon, tuna, beef, chicken, duck, lamb, bison, elk, deer, kangaroo. I could go on, but I think you'd be better off seeing the menu when you're there yourself. Dessert was spot-on in terms of sweetness, and the server was hot on the trigger with quick-witted jokes. Had a great time.

Les soupes à l'oignon gratinée et aux légumes étaient tout simplement horribles. Je suis certain que le cuisinier sort directement d un fast food. Impossible de servir ces repas sans goûter et sans notions culinaires.

Tourist trap. Their $40-50 specialty, "la pierrade" it's actually raw meat that you need to cook yourself. No need to brag about the restaurant's chef when you do this.

I recommend the Canadian Hot stone if you are looking for great quality game meat. It's cooked right at your table over volcanic rock, a truly unique dining experience. Simple and delicious!

Si vous êtes en vacances dans la zone au lieu d'aller dans les restaurants à touristes de la station de ski. Faites 11km pour St Jovite et mangez dans un vrai bon restaurant qui cuit la viande sur des pierres volcaniques et où tout est fait maison

The hot stone cooking experience was something interesting, and we were excited about it. But it was very rushed and cannot help but worry if the meat is properly done. Also fairly expensive. The ambiance was great.

Great food, welcomed by the owner, serviced by Basti, he provided us with all info we needed regarding the menu.his customer service was outstanding. We loved the meals we ordered.it was the duck and the fillet mignon. Wine was great.price is acceptable. Again Bastis service was outstanding.

Très déçue du menu, pas beaucoup de choix si vous ne prenez pas la pierrade. J'ai pris deux entrées finalement. Très dispendieux pour la quantité de légumes dans la salade maison.service Très bon par contre.

Excellent souper! J'ai essayé la Découverte, une sélection de viande de chameau, kangaroo, et sanglier sur une pierrade volcanique. Mon ami a essayé la pierrade canadienne une sélection de cerf du Québec, bison et wapiti de l’Ouest. C'était très bien comme expérience en plus du service sympathique.

Nous avons essayé les pierrades. Les viandes sur la pierrades étaient servi tel quel, avec petits légumes et patates. Les sauces en accompagnement étaient des plus ordinaires. Aucune explication, sur la façon de cuire nos viandes pour la première expérience même après avisé le serveur lors de la commande. Le tiramitsu en table d'hote n'était plus disponible même en début de soirée. Notre fêté a eu droit à un point de tarte au sucre garroché devant lui avec une flamèche. Au final, un resto trop cher pour le niveau de cuisine et un service médiocre. Acheter vos viandes et crevettes faitent les cuire sur votre bbq, acompagné d'une bonne bouteille et votre choix de dessert, c'est bien meuilleur ou tanter un autre resto pour le même prix.

While hot stone may not be unique but the special meat is certainly unique. Baby seal, elk, deer, crocodile, kangaroo, etc. Of course they offer more normal meat and seafood.

Restaurant sympathique. En entrée, nous avons partagé une fondue au fromage suisse. Elle était excellente, une des meilleures que j’ai mangée! Avons bien aimé la pierrade, mon chum aux trois viandes sauvages et moi filet mignon et pétoncles. Bonnes portions. Trois mayonnaises maison accompagnaient les viandes.délicieuses aussi! Excellent service.

Nourriture excellente. Petit resto parfait pour un repas entre amis ou en couple. Service un peu lent mais ca permet de bien profiter de notre plat

Top quality food around the area, reasonable prize, great atmosphere. Lava stone cuisine is not really my style but it is their specialty. Food portion is generally small (fine dining) but they do give ultimate bread! Awesome service as well but it might get very busy even in a regular weekday night

This is by far my favorite dinner place in this town. They have great service and their food is awesome. I recommend the Canadien Hot Stone. It was really good.

Staff has been awesome! If you are looking to try some unique proteins and yet your dinner guest is a traditionalist, this is the place to go! Great wine selection. Not that bourbon is a "thing" in Canada, but don't expect much whiskey to pair with your kangaroo here. It's all good though!

I got the Pork Milanese osso buco. This dish was very good, the pork and the pasta were cooked perfectly but I felt like the sauce needed more flavor. The service at this restaurant was excellent and I would highly recommend.

Excellent restaurant. Thishas to be my favourite date spot. Show up early for priority seating. Can fit up to 95 people. Reservations are a must. You won't regret giving this restaurant a shot.

Pierre volcanique. Bon choix de gibier. Bonne carte des vins. Excellent endroit pour une soirée entre amis

Personnel non sympathique. On ne nous a jamais demandé si c'était non. Soupe tomate en canne auquel on a ajouté quelques légumes. Quant aux grillades, vous faites cuire vos aliments vous-même donc le chef a rien à vour avec des légumes racines. Le dessert pareillement acheté industriel, la croûte de tarte était tellement dure.

Belle ambiance, le service est excellent, l'équipe est merveilleusement attentionée sans être envahissante, mais les repas sont ordinaires.

Tous les serveurs ont toujours le sourire et ont répondu volontier à toutes nos questions. Nous étions sur la terrasse et dès que la température a descendu, on nous a apporté des couvertures chaudes.

La pierrade de fruits de mer était ordinaire, le thon de la pierade de thon était vraiment wow! Délicieux! Sinon les sauces avec les pierrades avaient un fort goût de mayonnaise et les pâtes pour enfants étaient immondes. La sauce goûtait la crème et le ketchup et les pâtes avaient la texture d'un repas congelé à 1$.

YELLED AT A DISABLED CUSTOMER!
I came with my family and friends 3 days ago. The food took long and the servers were already rude at the start. At the end of the dinner, a server (I believe his name was Bruno) began yelling at my disabled friend for struggling with her tips. He would not stop yelling until she gives him enough tips and said that tips were mandatory. My sister (the host) was already going to give a very generous tip on behalf of the whole party. This is a violation of the Human Rights Code which we are now considering to file. This server HUMILIATED MY DISABLED FRIEND IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT. This restaurant is worse than horrible. THE CHEF/OWNER'S REASON WAS THAT HIS SERVERS GET IMPATIENT BECAUSE CUSTOMERS DON'T GIVE GENEROUS TIPS, which is why his server yelled at my friend. I recommend to avoid this place if you do not have generous tips.

Came to Mount Tremblant for a Bachelorette party, was looking for a good restaurant so we decided to come here for food. Right away we were looked down by our host (old male server), he was very impatient with our order and was forcing us to order right away. With that being said it was hard to decide with very small menu and very expensive. The wait was extremely long and food was not very good. Nothing a sauce cant fix right. When it was time to pay, the same host was very rude to our friends. NOT COSTUMER FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE. The host was very aggressive to our friends and was forcing everyone to tip, one of my girl friends ended up crying because of his actions. He was forcing everyone to tip and saying that during summertime they get busy and that everyone should tip. NOT AN OVERALL EXPERIENCE AND A VERY GOOD PLACE TO EAT IN GENERAL. DO NOT COME HERE
