Restaurant El Amigo

As a mexican costumer.this food feels like home. The atmosphere is boring but that's okay so you don't feel like rushing while eating, the owner is friendly.

J’ai récemment dîné au El Amigo, et c'était une très belle expérience! Les pupusas étaient croustillantes à l'extérieur et moelleuses à l'intérieur, et le plat de pollo était délicieusement parfumé. Le service était excellent, et l'ambiance authentique a ajouté à l'ensemble de l'expérience. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour une délicieuse plongée dans la cuisine salvadorienne.

Cuisine simple, fraicheur, bonnes proportions, et bons prix! Le chef est bienveillant.
Par contre les toilettes des femmes (ceux des hommes, je ne sais pas) sont sales y compris les murs. La tenue des toilettes, vous donne une idée sur l'hygiène. Je n'y retournerai pas!

J adore les pupussas wow vraiment typiques du Salvador.je connais ce resto depuis plus de 10 ans et j y vais toujours j ai passer au travers le menu mais j ai jamais déjeuner la hihi

The place is incredibly authentic and the prices are incredibly affodable for the quantity and quality of food. You can bring your drink.

L’endroit est simple, mais l’ambiance est très conviviale. Les pupusas sont n°1. Pas trop de gras et avec de très bonnes dimensions. Le propriétaire est trop sympa. Parfait pour une sortie en famille ou un bon repas copieux

Bon accueil et le chef est très gentil et accueillant! Très bonne nourriture avec grandes portions. Nous avons pris 2 papousas, un plat de fajitas et un plat de quesadillas, et nous étions bien remplis à deux. Je recommande fortement!

I had the fried beef tacos and the chicken salad (made with Boston lettuce). The food is fresh but bland and underwhelming. The food lacks spices, complexity and refinement. Price was very reasonable though. The cook (owner I'm guessing) was also the waiter. Not sure if I'll go back.

Je viens à ce resto depuis que je suis gamin et la qualité n'a pas changée! La nourriture est bonne, Señor Beto est toujours charmant et souriant, et la bouffe est bonne. Très authentique comme expérience. Ça vaut la peine d'essayer!

Probablement le meilleur rapport qualité prix dans un apporter votre vin/biere. Nourriture satisfaisante, aucune fioriture, décor de cafétéria avec feuilleton latino américain en continue. Bref si vous êtes un groupe de plus de 6, il y a moyen d'y mettre de l'ambiance mais on y va surtout pour la bouffe!

Food was pretty good and not horribly priced, but the service was EXTREMELY slow and I had to wait almost an hour to get my food, though the person I ate with got his 15 minutes before me.

I love this restaurant. Their food is made fresh and they have good prices. I come here often and have never been disappointed.

Everything was excellent except that when I ordered my meat dish with salad I forgot to ask that I wanted it well cooked and they gave it to me medium but from there everything was excellent.

Will definitely go back! Montreal is not known for its Mexican food so this was a rare gem to come across!
