Restaurant Greasy Spoon

Second time at this place tonight and it was a great late night dinner. Food was delicious and service was perfect. The waitress was attentive and professional. Thank you and we enjoyed our evening very much. Will be back soon!

The vibes were great specially with the friendly team! And the most important is the presence of the owner touring the tables and making sure that all his customers were enjoying their time!

Nous sommes aller à ce restaurant mon conjoint et moi un jeudi pour les huîtres à 1$, wow des huîtres charnues et très bonnes! Nous avons ensuite commandé l’entrée de calmars et croquettes de chèvres un vrai délice! Les calmars étaient si tendre et frais! Les croquettes deliceux avec le miel épicée! Pour finir, tartare de boeuf, moules et frite nous sommes complètement comblés! Je recommande le restaurant et l’accueil chaleureux du personnel! 10/10

I ordered the beef tartare for the first time via Uber Eats and was very impressed. The quail egg gives it a nice touch. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu.

We had a great experience choosing this restaurant by chance. It did not disappoint. Owner was very personable and informative. The food was excellent and presented very well. Very attentive service and a relaxing, chill atmosphere…. Just what we were looking for. Tuna burger is exceptional!

I loved this lil potato cake as a late night snack! And $1 oysters 5-7 is a fun treat to catch when passing by:) I started with a half a dozen but ended up completing the dozen

Excellente cuisine, faut absolument essayer les croquettes de fromage de chèvre! Un délice! Les boissons sont originales, ils peuvent concocter des cocktails sur le pource, même s’ils ne sont pas sur le menu. Service impeccable, très bonne ambiance! Le staff est excellent, très à l’écoute! Un merci particulier à notre serveuse Despina! Attentionnée, aimable, rapide et efficace! J’ai adorée mon expérience, et je recommande fortement ce restaurant à tous ceux qui veulent passer un bon moment sur le plateau!

2021 Cool little place on Laurier in the Mile End district. Service was pretty solid from start to finish. Many French students working here however did their best to serve us in our preferred English. Well done. Had lobster/mushroom stuffed medaglioni (giant ravioli) and lobster rolls. Very good. 2023 Still going strong. Fish 'n Chips, Tuna Burger, Tuna Tartar, among other delights have all been savored. Mr. Angelo and his great staff do their best to take care of you, and succeed. Check it out.

We came for the oyster promotion and to our pleasant surprise the rest of the food we ordered was really nice. The ambiance was lacking unfortunately but I think for some wine and oysters it’s a nice spot to go to

Good food and an excellent service by the greek lady with a lot of humour and attention lead to a very enjoyable and happy time in this cosy place. The Italian wine Le Focaie di Rocca di Montemassi, glass by glass, was for my taste excellent. The greasy spoon salad fresh with a good sauce and the beef tartare were delicious. I would come anytime again.

This place is perfect for any occasion. Just need a night out? This is the place. The staff is extremely friendly, the ambiance is wonderful! Either you eat indoor or outdoor with a heated terrace. The food is delicious, the tartar, the surf n turf burger is my favourite and so much more! Thanks Angelo (owner) for the amazing experiences we’ve had with my fiancé every weekend that we’ve been there. He has a refind pallet and also highly recommends it. Angelo is always present making sure things run smoothly!

Saw this place just off of parc avenue and seemed interesting. Walked in for a quick meal and ended up trying everything! Kind bilingual staff and cozy atmosphere! Cool spot definitely going back with friends

The food was honestly terrible and I didn’t even finish my meal. We had the poutine and the mac and cheese and both tasted old and like they were from a box or a can. Then my boyfriend got extremely sick, and it was definitely something he ate there because he was fine within a few hours. It’s also ridiculously priced. Don’t eat here.

Oysters were small, and we had to separate them with fork to be able to eat. Calamari were way too greasy. Gyn&tonic was ok.

The service was superb. The food was excellent. Great atmosphere. A gem in Mile end. With all the options in this excellent neighborhood, it’s hard to pick. But you won’t go wrong here.

Our group of 9 had a fantastic dinner and evening at the Greasy Spoon tonight. Angelo was so friendly and fun. The service was great and the food was delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening!
