Yes … I realize this is a resturant.

But when you order some late night poutine and they charge your credit card over $100!? !

They say it’s a mistake & minimize it …
They refuse to make a simple refund …
Instead they wanna pay you cash out the registered …?
And never an apology

Yes it is a “resturant”
But this resturant is dirty and shady
The lousy food is simply an opportunity for the staff to run a grift

Avoid the bad food

Ordered #10 smoked meat trio. Couldn’t see on the menu so had to ask. Newbie tried to give me old cold fries that’s been sitting for a while. Asked for new fries and got some. But why do I have to ask? Why don’t they serve fresh fries every time it’s ordered? Asked for some cabbage/Chou on the side. Old geezer says it doesn’t come with cabbage. Then offers pickles instead. It’s like offering mustard when you ask for ketchup. It’s not the same thing. Maybe they should replace the old geezers with attitude and hire employees who anticipate and provide better service. They gave me cabbage after I offered to pay for them. I’ve been ordering this since 2018. Why is this a problem now? Maybe they should include it as part of the trio. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Why would I continue going there and give them my money? It’s not worth the $20 bucks.

Good food with fast delivery, but terrible toilet situation, not even a door to close in toilet

Newly renovated! Exciting affordable tasty, greasy, comforting food downtown. Was heartbroken when it looked to have closed down but what a relief to see it was for a new shine. This place deserves it! La belle province is an essential landmark of Quebec and a solid part of the culture. Go try it!

Fast food poutine is sometimes exactly what I need after a long day.
The service her is amazingly fast.

Désolé les gars, trop chère. 9.50$ la petite poutine? Un tip avec ça? Y serait le temps de penser à cuire vos frites au four si c'est l'huile qui a augmenté! Où sont les belles années? Rien de personnel les gars, bonne fin de journée!

Les toilettes sont crotés en tabarnak. La bouffe goute bizarre, sinon les prix ont pas d'allure 19$ une poutine et 2 hot-dog. Sinon bon service

Literally instant service I got my poutine and two hotdogs in literally 2 seconds I’m not exaggerating it was INSTANT. Food was good too, plus the four dudes making the food were totally epic.

Heard this was the best place in town and I cannot refute that. Poutine tasted like the arena's from my hometown and was perfect. Hot gravy, melted curds, and solid fries. Ordered, Payed, and was served in less than 60 seconds.

When it comes to chain restaurant poutine, it just doesn't get better than this.

La bouffe est correct mais le plus gros problème pour moi c'est qu'ils ouvrent seulement à midi! Plusieurs fois moi et des collègues de travail y sont allez la semaine pour dîner vers 11h30 et on s'est retrouvés face à une porte fermée.

Always fresh, very consistent, fries are perfect and burgers are just the right size and not too greasy. The drink cup isn't the biggest but the gentleman at the counter did give me a refill. For the price, definitely a go to place for fast and cheap food.

One of the worst service ever, the cashier didn't understand english and french.had to repeat my order 3 times in both langages. I Was almost questionning myself if he was a part of a special needs program.

Hot dog was about the size of my pinky finger. Poutine was alright. Prices have gone way up from the time I was last there, but that's the same at a lot of places.

Poutin is an acquired taste but this place does well in serving up this Québécois comfort food. Honestly 2-3 people should share one serving because it’s very rich and very filling. Staff is nice. The restaurant keeps pretty busy even late at night so just be aware. The Reuben style sandwich was also pretty good. The price was appropriate for what you get. I would come back. I wish they had coke products though and kept the place cleaner.

Good food, price is a little bit high for hot dog and place not to clean but food is very good.

Stale fries, tasteless burger. What are they thinking about? You have to cook better than just a snack.

Super cheap and super delicious classic poutine. I can’t say more than that. Do yourself a favour and make sure you try it at least once! I go here every time I’m in Montreal. It’s a staple food.

C'est de la restauration rapide. Il y a un bémol certains franchisés n'utilisent pas les cartes de crédit ou débit et ils incitent les clients à utiliser la Machine verte. Je vous suggère de bien choisir votre restaurant.

Bathrooms were disgusting. My friend said she went in and the girls bathroom is filled with urine and other bodily fluids all over the toilet bowl; in TWO stalls! Was not impressed to here that. Also, there was no use of gloves to make hamburgers, which freaked me out and completely and utterly disgusted me. Not planning to go back anytime soon. 1 star.

Took an order to go, had 1/2 of what I had ordered in there. Thieves. Food is what you expect it to be.

I guess canadians haven't heard of food safety. They don't use gloves when preparing your food. Gross and unsanitary. Also everything i tried was ok to gross. Its very difficult to make a good burger apparently. Tasteless and lacked seasoning

The food very pricey and the staff not that friendly. I ordered a lasanha and I could not believe how bad was. Won't go back there.

The quantities are pretty weak employees don't wash their hands very well specifically the guy working on grill

Our first time eating here & my 1st poutine (from usa). I was pleasantly surprised. Gentleman taking our order spoke English & was friendly. The hot dog was a bit small, but the order of poutine made up for it. Very happy

Overall below par. Service was quick, some fries were not cooked fully, hot dogs were as expected, tasty. They should probably increase their price, or reduce the fry portion and spend the difference to clean up the décore.

Service is surly and uncaring, but quick. You forget about the negatives once you dig into the expertly made fresh poutine.

I had a poutine here only, cheese gravy and fries are all good. Don't expect service as it's a place for quick bite.

Greasy spoon with food staples expected from such an establishment. Cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fries, etc. Food was fast, good and affordable. Service was OK, but hey, its obviously not the french laundry.

Exactly what the doctor ordered after a rooftop daytime party in the blazing sun! Delicious, greasy fries, poutines and steamies. You know you come for the food not the service so just order, eat and go! Actually, it was just the gentleman working the cash that was pushy; all the men behind the counter were friendly. This joint is a classic so they'll see my face again lol

Ridiculously small portions. Just ordered a poutine and a salade Cesar, the salade is soaked in the vinaigrette and there's like 8 fries in my poutine.
The salad is disgusting and the poutine was okay.

This is THE BEST la belle pros in montreal. Quick fast service, great tasting fast food handled by solid experienced men. This place is hands down the best. Never dissapointed. $15 will do you great for at least a handful of hrs.

The name is great. The beauty of the province of Quebec has nothing to do with what you see or eat here! Or may be just a little. Hot dogs plenty. Hamburger your choice. Frites fries big or small. You are in a fast food place do not ask otherwise. The choice yours or the staff at the counter. Fast eat and then go to your next rendezvous!

I moved to Ontario and honestly considered flying in while pregnant just for this food! It's greasy, cheap and delicious!

I love the food. I had food over there many times and was never dissatisfied. It is one of the hidden gem. It is always empty. Perhaps because they take only cash. But I highly recommend that you, who is reading the review give it a try.

Un gros "Boff", les hot dogs sont bon mais vraiment trop cher et la poutine est ben ordinaire surtout la sauce. Serieux ils font du cash a cause de leur emplacement pas pour leurs bouffe.

Shady location that takes cash only (GIANT RED FLAG!) and will short change you every time and not offer a receipt. Told me my poutine + drink was 10.50 and, upon tending them a $20, they returned only $9.10 to me when it should have been $9.50. Workers have a very "I used to work in tandem with the mafia" vibe and barely speak French.

Will never go back. Plenty of other places in the area.

Food was not fresh, service was terrible, sadly one of the worst belle province locations I've been to.

Fast Food. Poutine excellente et traditionnelle! Bons hot-dogs! Service efficace et rapide, mais pas toujours sympathique. L'endroit est relativement propre et bien tenu. Bons prix. Ouvert 24h.
