Order.smoked.meat poutine with extra meat and 24 dollars later I get a regular sandwich no extra meat with a side of poutine regular and there's half the amount of gravy they normally use definitely lost is translation today.normally there great besides the fact the one old boy never washes his hands like wiped a counter served a table and right back to raw palming hot dogs

Merci pour les fois où la poutine m'a consolé après avoir poché un exam. C'est chaleureux, ça console pis ca remet les choses en perspective.

Les tables sont un brin collantes par contre. On fait avec.

Autre review 2023, quand on a une faim de poutine c'est de la bonne place. Juste une petite c'est bon pour 2 personnes:) du fromage et une bonne sauce, ça calme le tout!
Service gentil et rapide! J'aime beaucoup ce resto! Parking accessible devant la porte!

Hidden jewel of old style simple restaurant.
Great simple coffee, good enough to take black. 3 plates, pancakes for me, Roulette special for son, and french toast for Mom for under $40 for 3 people. Each has its own flavour, and big enough that sharing is fun.

For three.
Pancakes, french toasts, and sun up eggs with bacon, sausages, potatoes for $40.
Syrup, coffee included.

Petite place très bien pour un repas rapide mais toujours excellent, pour un déjeuner ou pour dîner croyez moi ça vaut le détour.

Le personnel est très gentil et la nourriture est assez bonne! Vous essaierez leur poutine!

Garbage service, gave me dirty looks the minute I walked in, secondly I greeted myself in English and they clearly understood and continued to speak to me in French and then when I asked if they spoke English they gave me a nasty attitude and said “u understand me right? ” Don’t go here unless you want to be served by grumpy people that will ruin ur mood

This place has been around since the good old days. 50+ years.
It was a hidden gem with the Best steamed hot dogs and brown floppy poutine fries around.in the good old days.

We used to have cravings and drive 30 minute's to get those perfectly rubbery hot dogs and poutine with cheese curds so fresh they would squeak when you bite them (that's how you know they are authentic and fresh). It was one of those magic places that should have never changed a single thing. The original building was a trailer park style trailer complete with trailer park boys to serve you that dosage of artery clogging goodness.

Unfortunately they renovated into an uncomfortable eat in dinner for the locals who commonly give dirty looks to the younger or less frequent customers who have to stand in line for 15 to 20 minute's and in the process I guess they must have changed their kitchen equipment which changed the thickness of their fries. Their fridge or lazy staff is constantly serving moldy hot dog buns and Italian poutine sauce that will come out faster than it went in.
They changed their wax paper wrappers and boxes for the fries so everything tastes like cardboard and paper bags.

We are die hard fans, but after realizing that checking the hot dog bread for moldy green fuzz and saying a prayer of protection before eating it had become a routine, it was time to say no.
The staff if unremarkable and generally slow.

Solid casse croute happening over here. I was recommended this place from a buddy living in the west and it’s a pretty sweet hidden gem.

Poutines are generous and have just the right texture. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cheese curds were legit with just enough squeakiness. Sauce did have a beef base taste but I wasn’t totally sure as I inhaled my meal in 2mins.

Also had the cheeseburger, pogo and onions rings. Pogo was dece but felt a bit doughy inside. I think it could’ve used a bit more time in the fryer. Onion rings were pretty light and crispy. Burger was just how I liked it, thin meat patty with crispy edges. Smashed on top with handprint on the buns so you know it’s authentic.

Overall it’s a great place to give your heart a workout. Fell asleep roughly 15 mins upon getting home.

Je suis venue en fin décembre 2022 avec ma mère âgée qui rêvait de frites comme quand elle était petite. Hé bien nous n'avons pas été déçues. Les frites coupe maison était dorés et cuite à point. Cheese Hamburger et hotdog moutard-choux également très bons! Et service rapide et très courtois.
