Bof! Très ordinaires, manque de saveurs et de finesse, linguine servi avec le veau avait aucune saveur en plus nous devions demander poivres et parmesan de base qualité dans un gros bol en bois.salade César médiocre, c'était la première et dernière fois!

I've been there twice and both times I was disappointed with the food, the service was excellent but zero for the food

Had lunch on a Sunday. Mussels themselves were good but the sauce was goopy and had nearly inedible whole peppercorns.fries were soggy and bland. Pizza was not good. The bathroom was gross and had really large ads for male diapers. Not a terrible experience but wouldn't go back.

The worst service I ever had on my life, arrogant, long eating time. The rudest waitress ever named Shawna. Absolutely awful, kept asking for help and the manager and she kept refusing. And then some guy came said pretty much said we should leave and then kissed the waitress in front of us. Now. I work and manage restaurants at the airport. I Will make sure everyone that goes through the airport hears about the worst possible possible place ever in Montreal, the worst management and staff ever. I don’t recommend going there cause with that attitude there will be health issues involved. Protect yourself never go to l’académie Pointe-Claire

We visited on Easter Sunday and the restaurant was completely packed with large groups. This place accommodates close to 300 people so it can get quite loud at times.
Overall the food was delicious from appetizer to my main meal. We had the Caesar salad and fried calamari to start and I ordered the Veal Parmigiana as my main meal. The service was amazing, speedy and efficient.

This is a mixed-bag review.

First off, and never realized this place was a restaurant I thought it was some sort of learning center or something LOL stopped in with my wife. The menu had some interesting choices, the stuff that piqued my interest unfortunately was all higher priced out of my budget for the evening. I opted for a poutine with filet mignon strips. $28 was the price tag on that. Came in a gigantic bowl and was a rather disappointing portion for the money. There were approximately four meat strips in there 3/8" inch wide by approximately 2 in Long at the maximum. Portion aside it was delicious. Sauce could have had a bit more zip.bit delicious. Was served to me exactly with the cooking I had asked for. I should mention that we started with gratini breaded entree, expensive for the tiny portion we received unfortunately. Also had calamari. Cooked to perfection delicious standard price on that portion was okay.
Ended with a slice of stale pecan pie which was frozen cold and rock hard when we got it. And coffees.

Service was outstanding we had a great waiter super friendly great personality and very helpful. His name escapes me Now, i want to say Louca.maybe.

If I could give negative stars I would. I went to eat there with a friend of mine on Sunday evening, March 5th. She had a gift card and invited me there. I been before, many years ago and it wasn’t bad, so why not. Worse decision ever! I ordered the shrimp pasta. After just a couple of bites, I felt off. I put it aside hoping this feeling will pass but it kept getting worse. Long story short, I barely made it home on time. I was sick all night long, waking up every hour, fever, etc. I couldn’t get out of bed after for almost 3 days! I’m finally back to work today but still feeling super weak and dizzy. NEVER AGAIN! Had a horrible food poisoning experience and i’m sure it was the shrimps! I even called to advise them that they should throw out their batch of shrimps, and instead I was offered a $50 gift card, which I obviously refused because I will never be stepping foot in that restaurant. Also, it is so due for renovation. All the leather was scratched up and ripped. So sad. I hope everyone else that ate there are fine! Most of the customer base were family with kids or elderly people. If I as a young women was so sick, what can happen to an elderly person or a child? Please take care of your customers and assure what you serve is safe!

Le service était bon mais la nourriture correct, sans plus. Le menu enfant est beaucoup trop cher pour ce que l'on reçoit. Je ne crois pas y retourner.

With d'académie it is a bit of luck of the draw as sometimes the food is 5 stars and sometimes closer to 3 stars. This last time I had the veal duo pepe and it was melt in your mouth, creamy deliciousness. Definitely recommend a visit here!

Ça me surprend de voir autant d’avis négatif parce quand nous sommes allés nous c’était impeccable. Le service et la nourriture c’était vraiment vraiment bon. Nous étions 6 et tout le monde a aimé son repas et la soirée. C’est cher c’est vrai par exemple. Mais de mon point de vue les portions étaient bonne et le goût aussi. Et super beau restaurant. J’y retournerais sans hésiter. L’ambiance était bonne aussi ️

Just had lunch with a friend who recommended the West Island location. Bonkers delicious. The main menu selections are varied but we each had one of the daily specials and both were Perfect. Best kidneys in a mustard cream sauce of my life and her mussels were bang on. The soup included was lentil with an exquisite broth, super delicious.and I don't even fancy lentils in general. The price was reasonable including BYOB which helps even more. Decent dessert selection to boot. Large airy space with loads of room, and young waiters like our Freddy who know their stuff and appear genuinely happy to be working there.

Great place with great food. Staff were very friendly. Only drawback is the noise level which is high due to the design.

Food was amazing, the service was super quick and the waiter was really nice too. My boyfriend is celiac and the waiter was really helpful to find gluten free options on the menu!

The salad was served in a shot glass, roasted vegetables consisted of 3 string beans and one carrot and a tablespoon of rice with my salmon.

I went for lunch on a weekday with 2 other people. The penne with chicken dish was underwhelming flavour wise. There are barely any vegan options. The service was incredibly slow even though we had specified that we were in a hurry and though there were barely any other customers. Understaffed? The atmosphere and decor is pretty bleak facing a parking lot blinded by the sun. They did include a free chocolate birthday bite for one of us. Overall really did not meet past experiences. I will return but it may be a while.

Prix des entrées un peu trop cher. Mon chum a pris des escargots gratinés 18$ le fromage était figé avec les minis escargots. Lasagne passable.

Decent steak and probably one of the better fish dishes here. Good service. Downside is no alcohol, but it is bring your own.

I did not enjoy the food. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was watery, it had no flavor. I was disappointed and found I paid a lot for the meal.

Decent food, a little bit on the pricey side, do not expect it to be a quick dinner but the staff is very friendly.

The food was good and despite being a big group, we managed to get our meals at relatively the same time.

We decided to treat ourselves after my mom mentioned she ate their lately and they had the best meal. I had the rack of lamb. It was cooked to perfection. My husband had the filled mignon, shrimp and lobster. He said his was excellant as well. Portions were very generous as well. Service was great. Happy we gave this place a try after a few years of no longer going.

Company of four dining on an early Friday evening. Reception was quick and friendly to seat us at a desirable table. Waitress was courteous, considerate and responsive to our needs throughout the meal. The escargots, daily soup and mussels were all sumptuous. The only complaint is the breads were hard and only lukewarm (it used to be hot, soft and fresh). The raw oysters ($1/pc on Wednesday n Friday, from PEI) were a bit small in size but fresh. The seafood linguine and especially the daily catch, baked cod, were very well prepared… taste delicious! The sauce and garnish were also great, tasty but not salty. Well done.

The Rugala salad was excellent. The mussels were 6 on 10. But the brauth was salty. My wife ordered the Penne Romanov and the sauce was less than fair. The chocolate dessert was delicious. The service was excellent.
Overall rating was a 6 on 10.

I had an wonderful dining experience here with friends. Our server took excellent care of us - was attentive and came to our table often. The food was delicious and was served in reasonable time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

Dined on a Sunday early evening with a friend, and we looked forward to a good meal, based on a previous experience. We each had the mussels and fries - my mussels were delicious, but there was entirely too much broth, and the peppercorn far outnumbered the shells. The fries were OK, but could have been better if dry fried (they were a little soft.) We each had starter salads, and they were over priced for the amount of fresh lettuce and little else on the plate.
Service was pleasant, yet our server was run off their feet, trying to cover too wide a range of tables and guests, which meant we were often left waiting between service.
The one distinct highlight came from the busboy - he ran his butt off, was extremely personable, and definitely good at his job. Kudos!

Il y a un special d’huître à 1$ le jeudi et vendredi soir mais il y a une limite que tu peux commander. Tu ne peux pas en commander autant que tu veux…. Vraiment décevant.
Deplus, il n’y a pas asser de serveur pour fournir le restaurant! Nous étions toujours à la recherche de notre serveuse. Toujours.

I went after many years because I was not fan of the food and found it to be loud. This time food was not exceptional but fine. Mainly service was the problem. Waiter’s service was not professional. He did not know how to communicate politely when handing plates or picking them up. We did not say anything but rolled our eyes a few times. What just made it worst is that we brought gift certificates and he did not allow to combine the bills to pay with it which I’d never seen anywhere else before. So you end up with small amounts on the gift cards while paying full price on other bills. Unacceptable from any respectable restaurants. I’m never going again.

Slowest service in town but well worth the time for the muscles and free kids menu on Sundays. Dishes could use a better washing. Great waitress but she is over takes with tables in 2 sections. The slow service and waiting for the bill sometimes feels like a hostage situation. Make sure you sit on the left side of the restaurant where they can see you.

Been there a couple of times because I know that I will have a good service and that the food is good. Last time was not the best. Soup was not good, salad was not with a vinaigrette, it was vinegar. Maybe it was the chef that day… The only good side was the service.

Nice spacious place, great for large tables, not so much for intimate dinner. Food quality was very good and service was excellent.

The price is one of the reasons i used to go here (haven’t really been here since pandemic), but i enjoy their mussels and fries here.pasta were good as well.if i remember you can also bring your own bottle (correct me if i’m wrong) which is a plus for me when choosing a restaurant.

We had a reservation for 8: 00pm. We were running a little late (arriving at 8: 15pm). I called to let them know and they told me that the kitchen was already closed…

Service was meh. Like we were borderline bothering the server (and we were nice and polite the only time for our 3 interactions -> ordering, receiving the food and paying).

Its not bad. I had the fillet mignon, but I wouldnt say it was the best I've had. I'd say 6/10. As for desert 4/10. Honestly it tasted pretty bland. Blueberry cheesecake was meh. The lemon one tasted processed. The tiramisu wasn't too shabby. Overall 6/10.

The cesar barely had any dressing, leave we're MASSIVE, very little flavor at all.

The margarita pizza was just cheese flatbread pizza. A budget fast food pizza joint could have outdone this pizza.

And the "bread" that came with the pasta was a cheap processed roll in plastic packaging. The pasta wasn't anything special either.

Maybe this place's service / atmosphere outside of the pandemic warrant the prices, but this meal was awful.

Service was impeccable. Crab cake, soup and dessert was delicious but the pasta was horrible and the mussels tasted old fishy and was over cooked. A good portion of them was still closed in pir plate which mean they were not to be eaten. The madagascar sauce for them tastes like tje gravy powder from knorr you serve with steak not what i expected as i had this in many otjer restaurants and was creamy and delishious. Our alfredo pasta was the worst. Pasta all stick together in a big clump sauce was tasteless and the marinara one the pasta was so overcook amd mushy but the sauce tasted good for what was in the plate as all the pasta had alrrady absorbed the sauce when served. We went on a friday for lunch time.

Went for a family event. They had a set menu, the food was delicious, the service was great, and everyone had a wonderful time
