L’avenue was a delicious and beautiful experience. The food was delicious, the crowd were all happy and good vibes. We were super impressed by the delicious pecan french toast, by far our favorite item! The crew were super friendly… cheers

Finally a high quality breakfast option in Montréal! Great food, great coffee and a great atmosphere overall. Nothing wrong about this place, I recommend it for anyone

We went for Brunch and we had a great time. Food was OK but the service was AAA. Our server, a very nice girl, was amazing, not only with us but with everyone. That level and quality of service will make us go back

Exceptional brunch experience!
The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was impeccable. The menu offered a diverse range of delicious options, and each dish was executed to perfection.
I particularly enjoyed the Indecisive, which was a true highlight.
The presentation of the food was artful, and the portions were generous.
While it can get busy, the overall experience was worth the wait. A must-visit for brunch enthusiasts!

On le connait bien pour son brunch mais L'avenue sur Notre Dame c'est aussi LA place où aller pour un délicieux souper dans une ambiance branchée et à la fois décontractée. Le beef cake est simplement délicieux, rien de similaire dans d'autres restos. La burrata et son accompagnement de legumes, un incontournable. Les cockails sont succulents, frecious precious mon grand préféré. Une serveuse tout sourire même quand elle doit gérer une reservation de 24 personnes! La musique et la déco unique (même dans les toilettes) pour couronner le tout. En date ou en groupe d'amis, un souper à l'avenue c'est le bonheur garanti!

J’ai l’habitude d’acheter la parce que j’adore le huervo ranchero, mais je ne sais pas ce qui c’est passer la nourriture étais pas frais (la crème sur étais expiré) c’était pas mangeable et il ne réponds pas au téléphone c’est le seul moyen que j’ai trouvé pour leur faire part de la situation

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon expérience au restaurant L'Avenue. J'ai pris les oeufs bénédictines Canard Truffé et c'était délicieux. La quantité de champignons était très généreuse! Le matcha latte était très bon. Finalement, la serveuse était très sympathique et attentionnée et l'ambiance était agréable. Je recommande!

Nice spot for a tastey brunch. The food was nice but unfortunately the food was hot.
Although I will definitely come back and try again. The smoothy for antioxidants was really nice to.

Ça fait maintenant 5 ans que j'ai découvert l'avenue et c'est toujour autant un plaisir de venir prendre le brunch là ils sont accueillant souriant gentil et leurs plats sont excellents.

Nous avons mangé un excellent déjeuner. Notre serveuse nous offert d excellentes suggestions et était très sympathique. Bien entendu, on ne s offre pas ce style de déjeuner à tous les matins, énorme quantité et prix en conséquence. On y retourne assurément!

I went there with friends for brunch during a visit from Toronto.
Let's start with the food. Everything is just amazing. We ordered the steak eggs, red shakshuka, savory & sweet benedict and the Masoud dates & pecan on a french toast. Everything is just so good, so delicious, so juicy!
Their portions are also quite huge which I loved.
The waiter was super friendly and helpful and also recommended some of our dishes (best recommendation).
The vibe of the place is cool with the lights and paintings as well.
It's a must try if you're in Montreal.

PS: go check the toilets, you'll get a cool bathroom experience.

Un endroit où il y a la queue, arriver tôt ou après 14h. Une fois la commande passée, il y a encore de l'attente, mais une fois servie on comprends pourquoi, tout est chaud, goutû, un délice à chaque bouchée. Serveur au top ainsi que celui qui nous a placé. Tout était très bon et des portions très généreuses (ne manger vraiment rien avant d'y aller. Sinon vive le doggy bag.

A simply perfect place! Most delicious food, stunning and special serving and wonderful service! And the bathroom of the place is a monument in itself! Highly recommend!

Seriously one of the best brunches I've ever had. My family and I visited on a Sunday morning around 1030 am and had a short ~20 min or so wait (for a family of 4, smaller groups were seated almost immediately).

Service-
Everyone from servers to hostesses to all wait staff were some of the friendliest individuals in the industry that I've come across- major kudos to L'Avenue for this. We dined here for my daughters birthday and this was such a pleasant and heart warming experience to kick off the celebrations.

Food-
Saoudi Massoub Caramelized Banana French Toast- friggin' amazing. Two large pieces topped with banana, dates and roasted walnuts and loaded with a caramel sauce- this was simply delectable and I now need to make it my mission to find something just as amazing in the US.

The Indecisive- Ordered this with a bagel, sausage and lemon ricotta pancakes. Portion was incredible for the price point and there's not enough amazing things I could say about those pancakes. The cream on these just blew everything out the water. The potatoes with this dish were also super flavorful and enjoyable.

Strawberry and Nutella Pancakes- Our amazing waitress surprised our table with this dish with a sparkler for my daughter's birthday. We were completely surprised and this was so cool for my kid to experience. I only regret not getting our waitress' name as I'd really like to thank her again for her kindness.

Drinks-
Pistachio Latte and Americano- both were worth it. The latte cup is lined with pistachios and the drink is very true to taste/not artificial with a hint of indulgence.

Oreo Milkshake- this was for my birthday girl and she thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great size.

Ambiance-
Super cool decor from every angle and even each individual bathroom had it's own flare and trendy aesthetic (with a toddler I found myself frequenting them often, lol).

All in all, highly recommend this place and location. The line was quite long as we left, so that speaks volumes about their food and service.

Very reasonable prices. This meal would easily cost $100+ in Toronto. We got "the indecisive". Perfect pairings. Service was quick and professional. I would come back here any day. Special thank you to our server. I think her name was Lamia.

J'y suis allé pour souper et j'ai bien aimé mon expérience. Les plats avaient une belle originalité et étaient succulents!

Had a lovely dinner on the terrace at L'Avenue. The menu is fresh, perfect for summer nights. The Tuna Tower was very tasty. I enjoyed it with the truffle fries, on its own, you may still be hungry.

As it's not known as a diner spot, the ambiance was a little lacking. There were other tables seated outside, but the restaurant was empty. It's good food and I'm hoping it becomes more popular.

Went here March 2020, just when covid was starting and it was busy. Came back July 2023 and just as busy (came right before the rush). I enjoyed the food and service 3 years ago, I had to return. Come when you are hungry because it's a lot of food, so if you are not hungry, it is enough food for two to share.

I got the indecisive with pancakes and sausage, and the pancakes were the best that I’ve ever had in my life, they were just perfect. Also highly recommend their hot sauce. The entire plates portion was so big that I couldn’t possibly finish it so I think that it was definitely worth it:)

I have tried food combinations here I never thought I would like, but continue to be pleasantly surprised every time!

We had brunch the first time we went to this restaurant. The egg benedict is amazing and the Toast bread with Caramelized banana was excellent. Will come back for dinner. Very friendly staff. Rare to find that in restaurants these days.

It's got to be the best brunch spot in the city. Will be visiting here again. I highly recommend it!
