Restaurant Le Petit Château

Nous avons dégusté le trio bison, cerf et wapiti et le tout était tout simplement délicieux. Accompagné de la fondue au fromage pour débuter et la fondue au chocolat en finalité, c'était parfait. Super service en plus. Le Petit Château est une destination recommandée sans hésitation

C'était la première fois que nous y allions et assurément que nous y retournerons. Ne vous fiez pas au commentaire négatif sur le service ou la quantité de nourriture. Vous allez vivre une solide expérience.

Je vous recommandé de prendre le trio de fondue.

Great food and atmosphere! It reminds me of Europe! Very well decorated! The food was delicious and the staff helped us choose. Good for families too!

C’est une super expérience. L'ambiance est très accueillante et charmante. Vins, nourriture et service incroyables. Le personnel est extrêmement compétent et fait d'excellentes recommandations.

Our usual fondue spot was full for the evening so we booked a reservation here last minute. I will say the other reviews made me skeptical but the fondue was great! The service was wonderful. Our waitress was prompt and answered any questions we had. The location was close to our hotel and very lively. Overall a wonderful surprise!

Tasteless food, much better places to eat. Fondue was an extremely bad choice. Tried it paid and left.

Every time I am in Quebec I have been going to that wonderful terrace restaurant for many years and many times every year. Foods are delicious. Service is friendly and very helpful. Entertainment is very enjoyable. Planning to do the same next year.

This place felt very uncomfortable for the senses. I went in to enjoy a crêpe hoping for a delicious experience. Instead I found the room to be freezing cold, the intense smell from all the pungent cheeses being served on trays at other tables were offensive. The place looked lovely from outside. I won't be back.

Extrêmement chère pour un repas médiocre et je pèse mes mots. Pour deux nous avons payé 140$ ce qui est inconcevable pour la qualité des plats qu’on a été servis. La salade Césars a 20$ avec de la laitue sans goût qui flotte dans la sauce. La fondue au fromage servis avec du pain très sec. Nous avons aussi demandé un plat de légumes, nous avons été servis quelque morceaux de bébé carottes qui sorte directement du sac avec quelques morceaux de brocolis cru et des olives et des cornichons en canne. Rien que l’on peut mettre dans une fondue …. Et que dire de la fondue au chocolat, une blague. Le chocolat fondue est en fait du pudding servis avec quelque petit et je dis bien petit morceaux de fruits et des cerises en canne. Je suis sous le choc d’avoir payé aussi chère pour quelque choses d’aussi médiocre avec presque aucun aliment frais. Éviter ce resto à tout pris.

Attention- j’ai lu de mauvais commentaires après avoir fait la réservation. Ce qui me faisait un peu peur. Finalement je dois avouer que j’ai été agréablement surprise. Nous étions 4 et avons pris le trio de fondue. Leurs spécialités sont les fondues alors il est possible que si vous ayez envie d’une salade ce ne soit pas le restaurant idéal (comme certains se sont plaints). Un peu comme si je voulais un hot dog chez McDo. Mais si vous avez envie d’un bon repas chaleureux avec de très bonnes portions, go et réserve! Le serveur était très sympathique et le décor très agréable. Super bon! Nous y retournerons certainement.

Very dog friendly patio. Can’t get fondue on the patio unfortunately… but that’s fine cause the other food is good excellent. Friendly staff too

J’ai adoré ce restaurant avec un staff extraordinaire, incluant le proprio (Mario) qui nous a accueilli avec un grand sourire. Mon cousin et moi avons pris le trio de fondues et c’était un délice! Rien de mauvais à dire. Je recommande Fyona comme serveuse, elle était vraiment à l’écoute et venait nous voir régulièrement pour s’assurer que tout se passait bien. Je recommande ce resto à 100%.

The location is convenient and the fondue is tasty, however the prices seem very high and the service is slow. This is a bit of a tourist trap, but the food is good and there is an patio so if you don’t mind higher prices for convenience check it out.

The set up on the terrace is beautiful and the staff are very nice, fast and efficient

Un peu décevant. Les nachos était un plat très épicé et c'était pas spécifié. Beaucoup trop de morceaux de piments fort.

WORST place I’ve ever eaten - not joking. Wish I could give it 0 stars. Atmosphere/Patio seemed nice and attached to the Chateau, thought it would be phenomenal like all the other restaurants in Quebec City… WRONG! Our charcuterie board was an open faced sandwich with a slab of cold cut meat and cheese melted on it. A gas station sandwich would be better. The nachos (which the waiter suggested we make a double order -so GLAD we DID NOT!) came in small bowl, with cheap round chips and salsa dumped on them so they were soggy, topped with olives and pickled jalapeños under a glob of cheese. Literally the WORST thing I’ve ever seen, let alone been served. It’s like they forgot nachos were even on the menu. Majority of the food we just didn’t eat. The fries were okay. The waiter never checked on us or asked how it was. Then he tried to keep a $25 tip for those 2 dishes and 3 drinks. SAVE YOURSELF the money and experience. DO NOT EAT HERE! There are so many other delicious places to eat. This one is a tourist trap. I wish I read the other reviews or atleast spoke up at the time. Live and learn.

Delicious food with amazing gluten-free crepes. Many GF options available. Our server was knowledgeable about celiacs and made sure our food was safe for us to eat. Service was fantastic.

Great patio and live music. The menu is limited to mainly crepes and fondue but it’s a great spot to get a drink and listen to music

Incredibly disappointed. I have been to the chain restaurant The Melting Pot and it was 10x better than this place. There were flies buzzing around during the whole meal, the fondue was weak and so were the foods that you dip in it. The “beef” was thin slices of what I guess would be roast beef. The bread for the cheese was stale, the dessert chocolate fondue was cold (even with the burner on) and was thin. The fruits and marshmallows were small, and small portions. The “cherries” for the chocolate fondue were cherries out of a can. This place was awful, to be honest, and naturally it was expensive. So not worth it, don’t even waste your time.

Saw the was pizza on the menu and ordered. It was the topping on crepes and no cheese. Maybe we should have been warned. Move along. Pricy too
