Amazing pizza! We had the pork belly pizza and it was the star of the night. Also had the lamb which was good but wasn't a fan of the side (onion stuffed with eggplant). We had the chocolate fondant cake for dessert, very good. Overall super happy with the service and food. I would recommend.

Great service in a romantic atmosphere.

This place was well worth the drive from Ottawa. Staff was warm and welcoming. Waters were filled often, and our server was always close to check up on our table. I noticed our cutlery and napkins were always clean because the staff replaced used cutlery when they walk by.

Every dish was good to its last bite. The duck confit was full of great flavour and textures. Pizza was great to be shared. Desserts were smaller than expected, but they were nice and light.

Our server was hilarious and knew the menu better than the chefs, the cheese platter appetizer was killer, the confit de Canard (a classic) blew my mind with the layers of duck, potatoes, pears, spinach, and cranberry, and they had so many flavours of gelato/sorbet to choose from we had 'em all:) And so many gluten free options! Our favourite local restaurant.

I give a low review mostly due to the food having no taste or flavour. Very bland pizza that tasted like a multigrain Mama Casa frozen store bought. The balsamic tortellini tasted like nothing, so boring. No cheese offered for the tops to add flavour only ground pepper offered. We ordered bread that came out cold. And the cheese platter is literally 3 very small slivers of cheese with a table spoon of jam and butter. We would have perhaps tried desert but the chairs and bench are so hard and uncomfortable we opted to leave as soon as we could.
This was a gift certificate experience for us (Birthday Gift) so I was only out paying a tip which was well worth it as the waiter was absolutely fabulous gaining the 2 stars for this review. Give him a raise!

Restaurant location is such amazed with beautiful views to the forest, service and waiters is very good, beautiful place for couples they will join a lot.
Pizza Margherita is not as expected very little cheese, but La Bouche de saint Laurent is very delicious I like the sous a lot.

Outstanding service and superb meal. Adults had pork loin, duck confit and ravioli with squash. Younger guest had pizza. All excellent. Service is professional, friendly and perfectly paced. Made for a totally enjoyable evening for a birthday celebration for two of the guests.

This place is perfect. Our family orders different dishes and we share (weird but at this place we hit 4/4 awesome dishes). Duck was perfect, sea food was perfect, cod was perfect and the vegetarian pizza was beyond perfect. First time we try a pizza with sour dough and it was too good. Will visit again

Fantastic meal yet again! This restaurant always exceeds my expectations. The duck confit and scarpinocc pasta are absolutely delicious! Highly recommend trying the charcuterie board as well. The garden in the back is beautiful and there's also a little shop attached to the side of the restaurant.

This was not a positive experience. It was my mom’s 60th birthday and she wanted to come here to celebrate (she had great memories of this place from when she was younger).

First off, the renovations are very modern and leave the area feeling bare and a bit sterile. The furniture resembled an upscale cafeteria and there were chips in the chairs and plates bringing down the quality of the experience.

We were cramped into a small table that was meant to seat 4 people (when we were a group of 6), so there was barely any room and we were constantly knocking into each other or things on the table.

When deciding on our orders, the waiter informed us that the only thing they were missing from the menu were the oyster appetizers, but when we proceeded to order our main dishes, the waiter told us there was only 1 pizza left. This really surprised us because the pizzas made up about 50% of their main meal options and 5 of the 6 of us were planning to order pizzas. Afterwards, this made it tricky to order because in our group we have several serious food intolerances and vegetarians. Due to this, 4 of the 6 of us ended up ordering an appetizer as our main meal, so more than half the group left the restaurant hungry.

Lastly, my dad had informed the staff beforehand that it was my mom’s birthday and they made absolutely no effort to make the night special, which just added to the poor experience.

Overall, my parents remembered this as an impressive restaurant, but we will not be going back. The food we did eat was good, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here. It’s quite expensive for what you’re getting.

A beautiful little restaurant with amazing service and delicious food. The portions were actually very filling. A higher price point for the food and wine so this is a celebration spot rather than a regular evening out, but definitely worth the visit. The wine selection was good. I had the chicken liver mousse to start, followed by the duck, and for dessert the Panna Cotta. All three meals were gorgeous. The duck, paired with fried potatoes and goat cheese was a bit on the heavier side - It needed more of the spinach or cranberry compote to lighten it/freshen it up a bit. But that my only tiny criticism. The food was delicious (that Panna Cotta is mouth-watering) and I had a great experience so I will definitely be going back!

Absolutely delicious with incredible service! We had the duck confit and braised beef rib plus the panna cotta for dessert. The food was absolutely perfect, our waiter was a joy and our water glasses were never empty. All service staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is all hard surfaces so it is very noisy when busy (which is usually), so not good for someone with hearing aids or aural sensitivities.

Great food. The portions are smaller than you would expect. If you get an appetizer and a main, then you should be satisfied.

It's a bit crowded and loud, but that's just because people like it.

I’ve been coming here for almost 3 decades maybe…hosted large family functions and have come for a midweek casual dinner. My most recent experience is below. The food always delights and surprises…and the surroundings/gardens are such a delight year round.

Great food and service. The views are amazing! Must order the salad fougeres, duck confit and mouth of the st Lawrence dishes. Rum punch and wine selection were also lovely. Merci - can’t wait to return soon!

WoW food was amazing! Had one plate that was almost vegan, had to hold the cream. Service is amazing. Very expensive.

Amazing place. One of the best restaurants I ate in. Great service, great food presentation, amazing taste. A nice taste symphony.
From the experience I had I am pretty sure everything in the menu is great.
The prices are a little bit on the high side but is worth it.
Before heading there you should get a reservation. I wasn't aware and went without one. The staff was able to accomodate.
As food I can say that pizza is divine. Lamb is decent, the sauce is very good same for the carrots and potato.

Arrêt imprévu, sans réservation. Chanceux que nous sommes, nous avons pu avoir une table pour deux. Malgré mon apparence un peu trop relax, l'accueil est chaleureux.

Nous n'avons pris qu'un repas principal mais c'était absolument divin: la bouche St-Laurent. Des pétoncles fondants, bien saisis, des moules et des petites crevettes de Matane. Une sauce bien dosée en goût et en texture. Deux gros raviolis à se rouler par terre. Un véritable festin pour nos papilles gustatives. On a dû commander du pain pour ne pas perdre une seule goutte de la sauce.

C'est un restaurant haut de gamme. Notre assiette coûtait 42$ mais valait le coup. Nous avons trouvé le vin trop cher alors nous n'en avons pas commandé. Le menu n'offre pas un grand choix mais c'est souvent le cas des restaurants de ce type. Chaque item était inspirant. On m'informe que menu change souvent mais les deux derniers items sont toujours à la carte (la bouche St Laurent et le confit de canard). Le restaurant est très beau, moderne, racé. Le service était parfait, le personnel souriant. J'ai bien aimé la station des entrées situé à côté de la réception et le fait que l'on puisse voir la cuisine. Il y a une belle synergie entre les cuisiniers et les serveurs.

La bâtisse a également une boutique gourmet qui est bien garnie et variée. La majorité des items proviennent du restaurant mais il y a aussi des produits raffinés d'autres provenances. Il y a également des menus de repas à emporter 3 services à prix raisonnable de 27$. Je crois qu'il y a un menu par semaine (voir photo). Il y a plusieurs année j'étais obsédée par leur gâteau au chocolat sans farine. Ils le font encore, dans le fond du magasin, congélateur de gauche!

Ma dernière visite remontait à plus de 10 ans. Je me souvenais du style vieillôt, campagnard. La réfection fut bien exécutée. Si j'avais à trouver un point plus ordinaire, ça serait les sièges. Soit une banquette en bois sans dossier, ou des chaises assez carré, ni l'un ni l'autre rembourré. Pas certaine que je serais confortablement assise plus qu'une heure. Mais avec le style moderne, c'est très beau.

Une expérience à renouveler.

Ma soeur et moi avons été ravies de notre expérience. C’était impeccable et délicieux. J'amènerais mes amis sans hésiter.
