Totally disappointed to have gone to this place. This reaffirms what I think: Peruvian food (which is famous) is that of the coast and the same Peruvians from regions other than the coast and who live abroad are content with very low level dishes, that justifies why this The place was full on a Sunday morning.
I went for the traditional Peruvian breakfast and I got this: Diluted and almost flavorless coffee, the fried sweet potato reheated like the bread, chicharrón where 70% was fat, they advertised filling and there was no. Maybe the only thing passable was fruit juice and tamale.
I will never go to this place again.

Have you ever dreamed of tasting an authentic Peruvian meal? This is the place to visit! I recommend to go for an Peruvian breakfast and order an surtido (smoothie) as well. The breakfast consist of friend pork chunks (chicharon), fried sweet potatoes, french bread and tamale. The taste of the tamale is exquisite. Don’t miss out!

Not impressed. I came to this place because I was told they had good Peruvian food but the experience was rather mediocre. We ordered the clams and they were good (there's no way to screw up when mixing chopped onions and mixing them with vinegar and oil), but the Lomito Saltado was awful, three small pieces of beef, rather boiled than sauteed, with tomatoes a mound of tasteless boiled rice and some fries. The waiter must have thought that I have hypertension because it was a low-sodium meal, no salt whatsoever (or any other spice to be honest). I asked for salt and he brought one small package of salt (the type you see at McDonald's). Had the same dish years ago during a trip to Lima and it was delicious, the fries were added to the beef during the cooking so they were mixed with the juices from the beef, not the sad concoction I was served, I am not Peruvian but I can tell when I am served bad food, and I can also tell when it is overpriced. The service was OK, just OK, the waiter (an older man) would benefit from changing his clothes now and then instead of wearing the same outfit covered in old and dry splashed food; it just doesn't look hygienic.like they say in Spanish.debut y despedida

Food was good. Service could be more welcoming, smiles are free still I think. Atmosphere is like to being in a typical Peruvian house kitchen.

So I don't speak Spanish, but I do speak Italian. I've been passing by this restaurant for awhile and that day I was with my boy and decided to go in for lunch it was about noon. Well breakfast is served til 2pm so breakfast it is. The waitress who was very nice with a big smile did not speak English nor French buti got the jist of it. Well breakfast for 2 is 25$ and you get 1 tamale, half a Peruvian sausage, fried plantain and fried pork (big pieces). All this came with warm buns and pickled onions, I didn't take the coffee. My 16 and I did not finish everything and walk out stuffed. We really enjoyed this type of breakfast and we will be back to try supper.

Délicieux, le meilleur déjeuner péruvien à Montréal. Je sort l'estomac bien rempli. Pas très luxueux le local mais le service et la nourriture sont plus que magnifiques. Le propriétaire surveille que tout les clients sont bien servis. Je le recommande avec certitude!

The owner is very friendly and good people, the waitresses in general too, the lady I imagine is the owner's wife is not friendly and does not greet or say thank you and is a little curt when treating people, otherwise the food is very delicious Not only breakfast but also lunch highly recommended!

Very dissapointed, we went twice, because we like the gentleman who sings very good. Despite of that, we won't go again, they are not ready to receive a big crowd of people. The food was brought very late we were about 14 peoples. Is like they cook the first plate and brought it, than they cook the other one and so on. The last person ate an hour after the first one.

Très bonne service, j’ai tellement aimé la nourriture. Essayez la empanada, ou la chicha morada, miam!

Great taste and great price! It is a small place, so sometimes the waiting might be long. But so far, best chicharrones in Montreal!

I am Peruvian but I am not a lover of going to Peruvian restaurants because of the comments and the food is nothing like the food of my country but it was the first time I went to this restaurant, good service, very friendly waiters, I ordered a seafood chaufa and I He had 5 pieces of seafood, rice full of oil, you couldn't eat it without staining your mouth the chauffa is not recommended. Unfortunately, other meals must be good but I won't go back
