Quelle surprise d'avoir découvert ce resto vietnamien! J'ai commandé une soupe tonkinoise large! Le bouillon clair, salé sucré à souhait. Des coupes de viandes tranchées minces. La portion de nouilles de riz larges, pas trop. Des fèves de soja minces et frais à souhait avec le basilic thaï. Toute est parfaitement proportionnée, pas trop de l'un ou de l'autre. Sur la table, présence de baguettes et cuillères de plastique chinoises, des fourchettes pour ceux celles moins à l'aise et des napkins! (Aujourd'hui, dans la majorité des restos de pho, c'est rendu qu'on te refile des baguettes de bois jetables et une fine feuille de napkins). Je n'ai pas essayé le reste de la carte, mais j'ai bien l'intention de tester plusieurs autres plats. Le service est 100% en français! Bravo! Et le service de la soupe est super express, c'est à peine qu'on a commandé que 60 secondes plus tard, la soupe arrive sur un chariot avec les garnitures, pas le temps de niaiser!

Une belle surprise dans Côte-des-Neiges, qui bats les autres adresses classiques dans le Chinatown qui servent des soupes tonkinoises avec trop de nouilles, du bouillon qui manquent de saveurs, des fèves germées brûlées par le froid et des tranches de boeuf tellement épaisses qu'il faut un couteau pour manger sa tonkinoise.

Bien hâte d'y retourner! Avec le même standard en terme de fraîcheur, de goût et de service!

Call me biased but we’ve been coming to this establishment for well over a decade. My husband, then bf, introduced me to pho and it’s been love at first taste ever since.

The food is delicious. Always fresh. Flavour is consistent.

It’s like coming home.

The rice noodles were not hot, so I think it would have been better if they were hot. The meat is soft too.
Vegetables and shrimp wrapped in rice paper are too much.
It doesn't taste good. The dipping sauce is not tasty either.

The food is okay level but the inside has a weird smell and the stuffs are kinda rude, even tho it was not busy. The guy at the counter was making Racist joke. Go there if you’re only Asian

Les aliments étaient très frais. C'était très bon et pas trop salé ni trop épicé. Juste très agréable.

This is a personal favorite for soup or Grillades. I travel far just to enjoy a soup and imperial rolls washed down with a good iced coffee that will keep you WIDE AWAKE for the rest of the day. Lovely family business and great food.

I literally live for this Pho. It's the best that I've ever had and Ive been seeking the best for many years by trying out lots of Pho's in Montreal. It feels like a warm cozy hug full of authentic flavour. You can tell that the chef takes their time and puts love into their soup creations. Ive also tried the grilled meats which are delicious too but my heart is with the Pho. I hesitated to write this review because I don't want my favourite soup spot to be revealed but everyone needs to get a taste of this. The people working there are also very kind and sweet and the guy who serves me takeout has a nice sense of humour on top of his stern demeanour.

C’est LE meilleur pho de MTL! La portion est correcte pour les filles. Mais mon conjoint prend l’extra large pour lui-même. Moi j’ai l’habitude de prendre les vermicelles avec poulet grillé. C’est super bon. D’ailleurs, le service est sympa.

Delicious pho and spring rolls. You know they're authentic when there's Asians/Vietnamese customers dining in a Vietnamese restaurant. It's easy to find parking in the adjacent streets. Strongly recommend!

Best Pho in the region! It's a small place but lineups go quickly. The service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. My favorite is the M4 special, which is beef with everything else (meatballs and tripe) with spring roll, but e everything on the menu is amazing (the vermicelli bowls are great) but the Pho is really outstanding.

The best pho in Montreal. Used to live in the neighborhood and tried every pho places around. This was the best at the time. Went back after 5 years and, after having tried many more around the city, this still remains the best one in town.

The broth is tasteful without being heavy or feeling oily. The noodles are thinner than most places which makes them easier to slurp. Service is impeccable. Definitely worth the detour.

Vraiment délicieux, toute la famille adore. Mon restaurant vietnamien favori, avec une petite touche d'amour de plus qu'ailleurs dans les saveurs. Le poulet grillé et la soupe tonkinoise valent le détour. On aime les contenants en carton et votre super service. Merci!

Ils ont changé les emballages à emporté, ce n’est plus des styromousses mais du carton. Merci.

It’s super good, price is cheap for the amount of the meat they give you. Definitely gonna visit there the second time

The food tastes good but I give it one star because the man who made me pay did not give me the right change and it wasn't an accident. Be careful people.

I went there after being told from another Pho restaurant to eat elsewhere. I was there during the street construction and had to walk on the board to get into the restaurant. The food is decent. I give it 4 stars for the food. Unfortunately when I came up to pay the owner didn't give me bill, but told me the amount I should be paying. (I eat in many, many Vietnamese restaurant in my life and the amount is nothing to what I should be paying). I know from the looks that he round up all the price and decided to add the 'appropriate tips' he thinks should get. As I was in the hurry and it was a business trip anyways, so I give extra tips on top of the price he mentioned. His eyes was wide-opened in surprise and was nice to me after the money transferred hands.
I'm sure if you are a regular customer you won't have this problem. This is one of the many Vietnamese restaurants who decided to take advantage of 'visitors' and according to them 'new-comers'.
I dislike visiting Montreal after this trip. Never had a problem before when I visited in the 90s or 2000s.

Price and food is good but soup broth was lukewarm and not as hot as other pho places. But overall wait time to a table is 15min on a friday night. Imperial rolls are great and very fresh.

Ive been going to this place for years. Hands down #1 pho soups in montreal! Gotta go taste it. Also have the imperial rolls, they're to die for

A very enjoyable spot, however I feel that the price: quantity ratio was off.

A very tasty pho with great options and decent quality meat. The large is a lot of broth but not a lot of ingredients. I would go for extra large if you want to be satisfied by the noodles/meat rather than just be filled up by the broth (which is great let me remind you!).

The atmosphere of this place is very warm and welcoming, and the service is excellent. I just feel that they might benefit from either a lower price point or a little bit more ingredients in their pho.

Satisfying mild beef broth with a savory sweet taste accompanied by a side of house tea if requested. Best I've tasted so far. Slices of beef & tripe plus a couple of plump balls are sufficient. Beef tendon or fat is lacking though & the noodles need more volume compared to other pho but the excellentbroth more than makes up for it. Ambiance has good oriental feel & service is fast.

Good unassuming tasty Vietnamese restaurant, good prices and good sized meals. Service is courteous and fast.
This is a good spot for struggling university students that would like to have a good tasty meal in a budget.

If you're looking for great, no frills Vietnamese, this is the place. Usually filled with Vietnamese people, which is a good sign! Very fast service, and the combos are a bargain! (Soup, a main, and a dessert for ~20 bucks!)

Great Vietnamese hidden in plain sight. Some of the best I've had in the city and very reasonable prices. Food was fresh and tasty.

Aside from Pho Bang "New York" in downtown Chinatown, this is probably the best option out there!

Sitting space is smaller, sure. But the fact that tendons are an option on their menu, on top of their competitive prices, and the ever so slightly varied offerings (from the aforementioned above) are more than enough to push me to go here once in a while for change. Even if it's out of my way.

And the music they play is charming. It just adds to the atmosphere: ^)

If I'm honest, we visited this place because our primary pho spot was closed. With that being said, this pho was really delicious and I didn't miss our usual spot too much I thought the imperial rolls were freaking amazing. My only complaint is that the music is pretty loud and distracting. Felt like I had to yell to talk to my husband who was sitting right across from me. Would love to come back here in the future.

Best pho in town. I live in downtown and sometimes walks to this restaurant (passing by mont royal) to get a well deserved extra large pho with inperial rolls (sorry guys my chinese gene too strong to save some bucks for the metro tickets, but hey its its enpviron friendly right!?). The browth is perfect and their beef meatball actually has meat (not like others with sh*t load of cornstarch). If you have a chance, def recommend!

Their pho broth is very light, fragrant and goes down smooth. I like it because they don’t bombard it with sugar and salt like other pho places would. Quick service, kind staff, and clean Pho shop.

Right across from the Kent Park and it's upstairs. Never go to the downstairs place you'll be. Just don'tbut the upstairs is our wonderful Vietnamese restaurant that's been there for years and it's right across from the Kent Park and it's delicious. The best part of the ambience is all the all the Asian folks that come to eat there and his collection of bonsai trees.the food is really excellent and there's a decent menu choice as well. Prices are highly reasonable and you will return again because the food is excellent. The service is quick on friendlyand I even found one of my business associates that finally told me he eats here regularly.

Pretty good pho at decent prices. Music is sometimes a little too loud which makes everyone in the restaurant talk loud as well.so a little noisy. The only thing I don't like is that there seems to be a lot of MSG in their food as I ALWAYS get very thirsty after eating here.

This restaurant is one of my favorite in town. I go there for pho every week and it never disappointed me.

Very impressed. The service was quick and the food was served hot. We ordered one special spicy soup and one shrimp with vegetables. Neither were spicy. We were able to add extra spice if we wanted. Prices of the soups are very reasonable and they were big enough to be considered a full meal.

Love this restaurant, the service is quick and the food is authentic. I usually get spring rolls and a soup and the ingredients are alway so fresh and tasty.

Visiting all the way from Houston, Texas and this is the place that we stop by for papaya salad and Bun Bo Hue every time we here. Great customer service and food are delicious.

The pho is good, although not the best I had. The restaurant and staff felt maybe a bit cold. Prices are good.

On vient ici régulièrement moi et ma copine, et la soupe est très bonne, on prends toujours la tai nam, flanc bien cuit et boeuf cru, et ca fait la job. Ils font aussi du pouding au tapioca qui vaut le détour.

Located across from the park just off of cote-des-neiges karma and up some stairs that they finally fixed up so you don't look like you're going to fall off of them in summer time or winter LOL you enter into a place that looks like you stepped back into Saigon and real homemade food. Real excellent food! And if you're not one of the Vietnamese people eating here or maybe Cambodian or maybe Filipino but usually you wouldn't guess that, then you're still welcome to eat here and the family running the joints is wonderful. He also collects bonsai trees and has a number of them circling the entire small restaurant.
But he won't tell me his secrets and I actually asked him the owner. There's a special certain spice and I thought I knew what it was but I still didn't get it right. They put a little something special bise wise and it's not lemongrass quite and is not finely powdered dried coriander not really but I don't know what it is but it's often in the food and it makes it extra extra special! My favorite is letter m from the lunch menu I think it's m or m1 and for like not much money I think the price even went down $2 I told the owner and he smiled, a huge Vietnamese soup and a couple of rolls done either deep-fried or that white turned around saying with shrimp with a peanut butter dipping sauce I mean this is really good food.however the restaurant is not particularly attractive and it's just a bunch of tables with seats and I'm not wonderful location but they are wonderful and so is the food and the price is good too. If you want good food if you want really good food, then this is a place to go for a wonderful Vietnam experience. Actually just thinking about it my mouth is watering it's sad good!
One of my business associates actually drives in a good 10 minutes or so from his office to eat here a few times a week very often and I ran into him I was the first time I saw the happy face on him and now I know why LOL

Favourite vietnamese restaurant! Love their traditional pho special, as well as their vermicelli with grilled pork. Excellent imperial rolls!

Highly recommand this place for Pho. Or any viet dish really. Everything taste so good and for the price, you cant complain.
