Restaurant Nikas

We treated ourselves lunch at work at the Royal Victoria Hospital with Nikas Greek food… we all thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered! Price was fair and the amount recieved was enough for two meals:)
We will def be ordering again!

Pretty sure i got sick here. The bathrooms stink. Most of the tables are kind of dirty. Fries were super greasy. The waitress was nice

Service was not that great. The waitress did not distribute the glasses of water/ plates/ cutlery. She placed them on the first table and had us distribute to the rest of the table.

Sweet staff and delicious food? Absolutely! We got the vege pita and the spanakopita platter and didn't regret it. Everything had a perfect mix of rich and fresh that was irresistible.

I ate at the restaurant and have no complaints. Greek pita is what i ate for years in Greece and Nikas is the best. Cant say the same for French fries. I am ordering all the time and i would like owner to eat just once thay fries and explain to me how they manage to make something like that.its awful. Greasy, dark something with bad taste. Other thing.as i am ordering. French or English.new lady that answers the phone seems to dont know both.i am trying to say 819 code.she keeps talking and asking 514. On my suggestion to wait and listen.she still talks.asked for another guy.and again another. Not good for Nikas.not good.food is excellent.everything else seems to be not that good. Pity.

This was my first time ordering at this place for delivery and the gentleman was really rude to me. I gave him my apartament number to call when in reception and he didn't do it so I went downstairs and he was with a bad attitude, I wasn't going to give him any tip but I gave him $2.00 dollars so he was yelling at me, saying I shouldn't order anymore from this place because is a minimum of $5 dollars tip! No way, I was going to give him that tip with his rude attitude, and he didn't even did his job properly.

An NDG staple. Very cheap! Your experience is highly dependent on the waiter that is working during your visit! Eric is awesome, but some other staff aren't as experienced!

This place is your standard take out spot, nothing really special to set it apart. Delivery was fast, but the food was mediocre.

Spanakopita was inedible, gyros was subpar, tzatziki and rice was just OK. Ordered diet 7-up and they brought me regular. Expensive and disappointing. Wouldn't recommend.

I used to go there over 20 years social and business though the past few years, the quality of the food has become terrible. The Greek potatoes I used to love are tasteless, so is the rice. The chicken is dry when I receive it, I’ve ordered quite a few times this year and have always been disappointed

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant and would not recommend it. The waitress was fine, but unfortunately, the owner was rude and asked us to leave before we finished dining because he wanted to close early, even though the sign stated a later closing time. When we expressed dissatisfaction and mentioned not returning, the owner showed no concern for our opinion. Business owners must treat their customers respectfully and not make them feel unwelcome.

Les prix sont corrects, le goût est correct. Bref, rien ne m'a particulièrement impressionné mais je dois dire que le service était rapide.

Avoir un restaurant ne consiste pas seulement à servir de la nourriture, il faut aussi entretenir vos toilettes: pas de papier dans le distributeur, une chasse d'eau qui tombe par terre, un plancher mal propre.

I have been ordering from Nikas for the past decade as it has always been a favourite in our household. Unfortunately, their rising prices combined with cost saving measures means that much of the value has gone downhill over the years. Their hamburger steak is now priced at 21 dollars and a chef's salad with chicken is now 24 which is a big price hike since their last advertised price. I understand the need for rising prices but these have also been coupled with cutbacks. Their butterfly shrimp once came with garlic butter for instance, and gravy is now served in dipping cups so you get about a quarter of the amount. On two occasions, items were forgotten (baklava, and drinks) and they offered simply to send the items next time. No discount, compensation or offer to send the missing items which affects the meal experience. Unfortunately, there won't be a next time as it is time to move on, the food simply is not as good anymore and better fare can be had for the prices they now charge.

Worst delivery guy ever. Screamed at me because he didn't like the tips, told me to come out and hold the drink back while screaming at me. I pick up for my boss, he never ever had any problems with tips and always tips pretty good. Rude and abussive. Will not recommend and will not order again. I am wondering if they look at the tips prior to delivery.

Worst Customer Service experience ever! Ordered through Skip the dish and the order never arrived, the restaurant was very not helpful about it.

I grew up going here all the time, I’ve been a client for 20 years. In the past few years, the quality of the food has become terrible. The delivery driver also hit on me and was sending me text messages, when I called to complain (obviously I was scared, he has my address and number) the woman laughed, to their credit it did stop but it was super uncomfortable. Sad to give this resto 1 star because it used to be my fave spot in ndg but not anymore.

Have been frequenting the place for 10+ years. It's a casual, inexpensive neighbourhood restaurant with delicious food. We enjoy the Greek platters, but the pizzas are also good.

Incredibly rude over the phone, unable to follow basic delivery instructions, and constantly getting orders wrong, when I ordered with skip the dishes their delivery driver demanded a tip from my brother, despite already completely disregarding my instructions, and being extremely rude over the phone. Never ordering from here again.
