Super endroit, plaisant, belle atmosphère, très bonne musique et nourriture. Ils nous ont bien servis!

Never go back. Ordered a bottle of wine, the waiter poured us a glass and took our order and the food came before we had even had half a glass gone. Like no longer than 5 minutes, we got there had our dinner gone in under a half an hour. Really can tell that they want you in and out AFAP. It showed it as well in the food. It was ok but definitely not worth the price, checked out menus all over QC and certainly be going elsewhere next time

The food was horrible! The seafood linguine was tasteless! No flavor at all. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza! They served some bread and it was hard and cold for the price we paid it was really disappointing! I will have enjoyed better a Subway sandwich.

The bruschetta is AMAZING! The pizza is delicious and the pesto pasta is so creamy and savory.
We loved the live music.

We have been here 4 years ago and the place had a great food and service. Tonight we came back after 4 years and we had a very disappointing experience. The penne pasta with tomato sauce had 8 penne pieces and the plate was full with tomato sauce. The seafood linguine the same. The pasta was like a stew and not a fresh pasta with seafood. The grilled salmon was tasteless. One of us got the shishkebob and that was delicious.
I used to love and recommend this place to a lot of people. Not anymore.

Lovely meal, fireplace, accordion player. The meal was excellent, desserts well. The people are very friendly.

We really enjoyed the live music. One of the best places to go to in the Old City. It has a very good and interesting selection of dishes. It was 3 of us and we ordered 6 different dishes to try because we couldn’t choose The food was good, but not amazing.

Seafood is absolutely fantastic.

The only thing: let the waiter know that the main dishes can be served separately. One of my friend ordered duck breast but it was already cold when it get served together with our seafood; should have had hers on sooner.

We went to this restaurant on November 27 2021 and was not satisfied at all.some servers did not wear their mask properly.we ordered the duck and the salmon.the duck was ok, but the salmon was overcooked and dry, we advised our waiter and he took it back and replaced it with the same results.dry, overcooked and very low quality for the price we paid.will never go to this restaurant again.

Très belle ambiance mais beaucoup trop de personnes en temps de covid. Les repas sont bons tout dépend de ce que vous prenez. Les prix du menu pour le souper sont tout de même un peu trop élevé.

The food quality was not worth the price that we paid.the restaurant ambiance was great but staffs were not friendly or professional at all. They bring the bill while we were eating (we did not asked for the bill) and when I told him that we are still eating he left us and few minutes later his other colleague came with a machine in his hand and asked us to pay! Unbelievable!

One of the worst restaurants I’ve experienced.

We dined at this restaurant in a group of 7. Our server made his best attempts to ignore us the whole time. After waiting 2 hours without being served our food, I had to make an inquiry with the bar staff as our server would brush us off every time.

After 2 and half hours past, we made a request to get the bill from the reception as we have still not been served. After a lot of back and forth, our food finally arrived.

I thought the food would be the saving grace, however it was definitely below average. The pastas are decent (it better be since it took 2+ hours to cook) and everything else was a disappointment.

With so many restaurants in the area, skip this one and never look back!

Nice atmosphere and staff. Live music. Food is good, but the presentation of the dishes could be better.
Also, when I ordered espresso, I was given regular coffee in an espresso cup instantly. C'mon you can't make two espressos and bring them to the table in 20 sec.
What an Italian restaurant it is if I can't get the real espresso?

Belle ambiance (une chance) nous avons pris en entrée la fondue parmesan et les calmars les deux était très ordinaire. Pour les plats principaux, veau parmesan: le veau était mauvais (gout d'huile olive qui prenait toute la place) les pates etait bonne. Sinon le veau marsala et les linguini aux fruits de mer etait bien tout au plus. Malheureusement la qualité des assiettes ne vaut pas le prix.

Je le recommande a tout le monde la nourriture est excellente les gens sont extraordinaire l'ambiance est féérique on s'est vraiment cru En Italie le temps d'un souper

You must go here. We arrived late on a Wednesday and they were full but we got a table for four. It was the last table open at 9.00 Pm. My brother and his wife as well as my wife and I. From the moment we walked in we were told it was a bit backed up but they had our drinks for us in 5 minutes and complimentary bread. None of us spoke any French but no problem as Stephanie our hostess was bilingual and always at our table refreshing our drinks while our food was being prepared. The owner met us when we walked (Very nice man) in and the history of this place speaks for itself as you can see so many pictures of him and some very famous Quebecers all over this restaurant. The accordion player was such a nice touch. I had the best Veau Marsala (Veal) I have ever had in my life. The portions were perfect and the price reasonable and the only complaint I have is that I live over 9 hours away and can not come here every week. So Thank you Stephanie and staff for a job well done. Merci infiniment!

Great atmosphere, place was over capacity on the night when we were there. Food was at least 45 minutes for spaghetti Bolognese. Thank goodness for the bread sticks and endless bread. Service was great, I would recommend if you don't mind very tightly seated tables and a communal vibe. Live music player too!

C'est un must d'y retourner.

Je conseil sans hésiter ce restaurant Italien.

Le prix d'assiette varie entre 18$ et 50$ mais ça vaut la peine.

Voiturier sur place également.

Viandes et homard très secs. Ne venait avec aucun accompagnement. J'ai décidé d'essayer un nouveau drink, qui n'était pas bon du tout. Je l'ai mentionné à la serveuse et celle-ci ne m'a même pas offert de me l'échanger, elle est partie sans dire un mot. Je te retournerai plus là.

Mais WOW. Quelle magnifique expérience. Merci à Luigi, le propriétaire, qui a pris grand soin de nous et qui nous a expliqué plusieurs de ses histoires. Merci au chansionner aussi pour ses magnifiques chansons. Il y a vraiment un personnel à l'écoute et qui sont là depuis longtemps, ils s'y connaissent. L'accord mets vin; WOW. J'ai pris en entrée l'antipasto (wow, wow et wow) et le carré d'agneau accompagné de pâte aux tomates comme repas principal. Les pâtes = magnifiques en bouche. Si je reviens, je prends un plat de pâte certainement. Nous avons tellement aimé notre expérience. Il y avait de l'attente, mais nous avions été mis au courant et nous avons relaxer autour d'un verre de vin. Merci encore!

You can tell this is a restaurant with years of service. The service was great! Very busy. Just a little tight on space with the busy dinner crowd.

Great food, amazing atmosphere, nice decoration and staff were so friendly, we sat at Schumacher's room at the back

Very unique decoration and lovely atmosphere.the staff was very welcoming. There is even a nice gentleman that goes around the table and plays the accordion.
In our opinion the caprese salad was flavorless, the spaghetti bolognese was ok and the Gnocchi was very tasty. I asked for a lemonade but it was more like a sparkling juice. Overall very nice place.

Excellent restaurant au coeur du Vieux Québec. L’ambiance y est formidable, la gentillesse et l’attention du personnel est la marque de commerce de ce restaurant. La cuisine italienne est excellente et en bonus, nous avons le plaisir d’avoir l’accordéoniste Sergio pour nous chanter des vieux refrains. C’est un incontournable à Québec.

Belle ambiance (avec joueur d'accordéon), autant pour un souper en amoureux que pour passer un bon moment entre amis.
La qualité de la nourriture est très bonne. Le tout pour un prix raisonnable compte tenu de la qualité du moment que l'on y passe.
Excellent service.
J'ai fréquenté plusieurs restos typiquement italien, et celui-ci cadre bien avec la réputation des italiens (passer un bon moment en profitant de la vie sans complications).

L'ambiance typiquement italienne "la vie est belle" avec le joueur d'accordéon est parfaite.

Amazing atmosphere! This was hands down our favourite restaurant of our 5 day trip. Our friend who is a Quebec City local took us there. The food was great and the service was second to none. We went on a Friday night and there was an accordion player roaming through the restaurant performing all evening. Even the Chef came out to sing us a song. So much fun. Highly recommend!

We had a table reserved for 5 the day before to arrive the following day at 8pm. We ended up being seated at a small rounded table in the middle of the main path way for staff and customers. Thus elbows constantly contacted our table.

Initial introduction to the restaurant was welcoming and the entertainment of the walk around accordion player was an amusing touch for the memories.

However after that it was all down hill.

The table was initially served with the driest week old bread pieces and we had to ask for the vinegar and olive oil for it.

I personally started off with the soup of the day which was a vegetable soup but far more liquid than actual substance and a mere 'hint' of flavour and that's not a compliment.

We literally had a server ONLY at the table to take the order after an hour of sitting and ZERO return to see how the meal was going and if we needed anything.

Unacceptable!

My main course was the surf and turf which was the blandest, over boiled n 10% flavoured rock lobster tail I have ever had.
(Note - I have been a lobster fisherman in Nova Scotia for 4.5 years as a teen as well as my step dad being a lobster fisherman so speak from experience) this was absolutely terrible!

Toss it off with a peace of beef that was literally 2 bite sized pieces when cut.

I ordered medium well and came.completely WELL done with again, zero flavour.

During the meal one of our.company had a wine glass break in his hand and it took 10 minutes to get any attention from a server. By the way we ordered a full bottle of Merlot.

What did we receive from the server? Ziltch! He took the broken glass away while my friends hand was wrapped in a napkin bleeding! Zero concern. Jesus he could have at least filled his glass for the accident which was no fault of my friend but no doubt either cheap glasses or have been used n abused through the dishwasher far too many times.

After a 5 person unsatisfactory meal we all literally had to stand up with our jackets on to get any attention from the server. Finally realizing we all.may just walk out he dropped off our individual bill and then we had to wait again for the credit card machine.

I know what it's like to hustle for our $ and the work involved as I work as hard as any person for their dollar thus I do not just hand over what I worked for 'just because' it expected.

I reward good service and even satisfactory.

I do not reward poor service and in this case poor to non existent!

My recommendation to take it or leave it but you work hard for the fruits of your labour and there are far better serving and quality prepared dishes in old town Quebec City than this establishment.

They may have been great once but not on my dime.

Tread wearily.

Après plusieurs visites, c'est toujours aussi bon! L'ambiance avec l'accordéoniste est incroyable, la nourriture est toujours de grande qualité et surtout, j'adore les spécialités comme le jambon de Parme et le saumon fumé préparé par Luigi lui-même. À chaque fois que j'emmène de nouveaux amis, ils sont agréablement surpris! Rapport qualité-prix très honnête. Une vraie soirée à l'italienne comme on les aime. En plus, c'est à 2 pas du Château Frontenac donc, parfait pour une marche de fin de soirée. Merci et à très bientôt!

La bouffe est excellente. Notre serveuse était aussi très très gentille. Pas la meilleure place pour les enfants mais on nous a très bien accommodé quand même! Merci beaucoup!

Crazy fast service! Great food, great ambiance, great staff! Our waiter even helped me with my jacket after our meal like a true gentleman:) definitely recomend!

Food was below average quality and way overpriced. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because there was an accordion player that made for a nice atmosphere.

Food here was delicious! Two in our party, we each had different soups and pastas. No complaints! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! Accordian player while you eat was funny charming and very very good. Interacts with diners and really added to the ambiance of the evening. We will come back!

Si j'aurais pus donner aucune étoile je l'aurais fait. On était toute tasser dans un coin. Table trop collé. Frenchement pas tres propre. Avec de la déco qui a figé dans le temps. Les plats aucun goût très salé. Le personnel asser bête merci! L'hôtesse pas très propre et qui sent la cigarette. Petite portion. Pain sec. Et je ne peux appeler ça du pain Puisque il avait juste la croute autour. Beurre gelé. Aucun service pour l'eau. Le prix exorbitant pour une poignée de pâte garoché dans mon assiette avec probablement de la sauce du commerce. L'auto est resté dans la rue une bonne demi-heure pour le service de vallet. Puisqu'il n'a pas de vallet. C'est un serveur qui le fait. Et quoi dire du propriétaire un peu trop bourré qui te touche et te fait la cruze. Je le conseil même pas à personne. Je comprends même pas la réputations de ce restaurant. J'aurais mieux manger au Mikes. Ah oui, on avait faim après.

Ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante. Qualité de la nourriture correct. Tiramisu décevant. Prix élevé pour l'expérience mais le joueur d'accordéon est bien sympa ahaha

Mais qu'est-ce que c'est que ce restaurant qui m'a servi une lasagne qui ne valait pas les 28$? Sérieusement, aucun effort de présentation et de saveurs. Je n'aurais même pas été satisfait pour 8-10$! En plus, le service était inférieur aux restaurants avec service d'entrée de gamme. Allez chez Normandin ou Mike's et vous épargnerez 75$ environ. Première et dernière visite. Même opinion poura conjointe qui n'a pas aimé l'ambiance et le service.
