Nous étions un groupe de 10 personnes, tous ont adoré leur repas.
Pour ma part j'ai pris la brochette d'agneau, je la recommande. Servi avec une généreuse salade fatouche en entrée (ne manquait que des croutons de pita) J'ai une bonne fourchette et mon assiette m'a comblé. Le portions sont généreuse, la cuisson et les saveurs sont parfaites.

La façade ne rends pas honneur à ce petit joyau.

Essential to anyone who wants to discover the cooking flavors of the Arab world. Meals are delicious, gently served, on beautiful dishes with toppings. A good place to share with family or for a lunch business. To finish, Arabic coffee or Arabic tea.

Amazing food & Service! Was visiting Montreal from NYC and decided to give this restaurant a try. Everything was delicious, we got a few appetizers & mixed grill main with some quails. The owner also recommended the perfect wine to go with the meal. Will be back next time I’m in Montreal!

High quality food, family run business with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Freshly prepared salads and grilled meats with genuine flavour.

Tabouli - really generous serving, classic flavours, you can tell it was freshly prepared.

Mixed Grill - Lamb is juicy and smokey. Beef, likewise. Comes with a large serving of fries, a grilled onion and tomato. Comes with a small spread of hummus and garlic. Garlic is top tier, make sure you ask for it!

Overall a pleasant experience. Takes AMEX. Expect $25pp

The lady who served us had no clue what she was doing. Worst service. We found hair on one of our plates. The lady didn't even bother to apologize. I saw some other comments on her service. Looks like owner is not bothered to take action or she is the owner.

Was pleasantly surprised. Freshly prepared middle eastern / lebanese plates. Service was pretty good even on a night with a very large group and busy restaurant. Staff is friendly. Chicken and beef kebabs, fatouche, taboule, hummus, all your classics are here. Well done.

I came to Shish-Kabab on a first date last Friday, November 11th, just before 2pm in the afternoon. We were the only patrons at the time. The Maître d' was friendly, courteous, and attentive. We ordered the Kebab for two. The food was exceptional in presentation and in taste. The filet mignon was superb. I was pleasantly surprised when the head chef brought us a dish too. The staff went above and beyond to make our date super special. (And my to-go-box leftovers the next day were also, amazing).
I would definitely eat here again.

Food was expensive for the quality and quantity. Lady was extremely rude. Found hair in food and lady disagreed the food had hair. She even charged for that. We just walked out. The baby even had the hairy food. Awful service.

Bonne nourriture à un prix raisonnable! Mais je donne 5 étoiles au service impeccable de la part des employés et serveurs/serveuses! Ils étaient tous super gentils, amicals! Ils ont mis de l’ambiance et nous ont servis comme si nous étions des membres de leurs familles!

Nous avons célébré le baptême de mon fils chez Shish-Kebab et notre groupe de 13 personnes a été servi comme si nous faisions partie de la famille. L’ambiance, le service et la nourriture étaient impeccables. Les kebabs, cuits sur charbon de bois, sont de loin les meilleurs à Montréal! Milles merci!

This place is amazing, as I've been going to eat there on a regular basis, I've become friends with the owner and staff, they are going through an amazing transformation for the restaurant, the renovations are almost finished, they will be adding a new bar section looks great by the way, the new kitchen is sparkling clean and organized, the dining room will be renovated soon with new tables and chairs. I would definitely recommend people to go there and even talk to the staff to see the new changes. The food will still be the same amazing taste.

This is the first time in my life I walk in a restaurant and every single unused table was full of dirty dishes from previous customers. I couldn’t believe no one of the staff took 5 minutes to clear the empty tables.i decided to just leave.

The service was impacable, food was beyond expectation and more than delicious, will repeat it soon, highly recomended, please keep it up, see soon.

Overall the most horrible experience in a restaurant. The staff is not professional at all and very disorganized. First, they made us wait 45 minutes to give us our table even tho we made a reservation (even asked us to wait outside in the cold with young kids because the restaurant is too small). Waited another 30 minutes just so they can give us the menus. After waiting for more than 2 hours for our food, I ask them if they can at least bring food to the kids (anything like bread or fries because they were hungry) and their answer was “The kitchen is too busy, you have to wait another hour. ” I was speechless so decided to leave to eat somewhere else. Oh and they didn’t even bother to serve us water the entire time. Wow still can’t believe how can this happen.

Easily the best Lebanese place I've been to in Quebec. Very fresh ingredients, delicious meals, and they even have Almaza beer! I'll be coming back very often ️

Très bon repas, nous avons pris le mechwi shish kebab (pour 2 personnes) et des feuilles de vignes farcies et c’était délicieux. Le baba gannouje, le kekfta et le shish taouk étaient mes coups de coeur. Ma femme, qui est égyptienne, était aux anges, elle a trouvé que tout était « on point ». L’assaisonnement des feuilles de vignes était particulièrement bon. Bravo!

Pretty restaurant and I really enjoyed my salad, but the rest of my food came out room temperature as if it was sitting around for a long time, fries/potatoes tasted like they were around for a few hours. I like the ambience but I wouldn't return.: (

For sure one of my favorite Lebanese experience outside my country. If you ever feel like you're homesick and miss your parents or grand-parents food, never think twice about your neighborhood restaurant Shish kebab in Acadie with the 100% real taste of Lebanese cuisine. Other than the taste of their amazing food, the staff at shish kebab are the most welcoming and servable more they should normally be. If you live in Montreal and haven't tried the savor of shish kebab's meals, you are going to be amazed compared to the other scammers with fake taste and bad Lebanese representation

Probably one of the best middle-eastern/lebanese place in Montreal. Both the chicken and kefta are great.

We are writing this review after many years of eating at SHISH -KEBAB restaurant.

It's rare that we ever write reviews at all. However, the consistently excellent experience we had in this restaurant has motivated to write this review as an expression of true appreciation. We also wanted others to benefit from our good experience.

HERE ARE OUR RATINGS, EVALUATED OBJECTIVELY:

 FOOD QUALITY: IS EXCELLENT! The meat cuts of the Kofta & Kabab [beef cubes] are very tender, of high quality. The seasoning, cooking, and grilling are made by very experienced cooks, using old-fashion charcoal grilling to produce a special flavor.

 FOOD QUANTITY: The main plate portions are very large and more than generous. As well, there are several free side portions included in the meal's price.

 SERVICE: This is a family-owned and operated business. The owners are very cordial & friendly. They offer very good service. Also the food orders do not take long to be prepared.

 SETUP & AMBIANCE: is warm, clean, agreeable, and well lit. The place is suitable for couples, families, or groups who like to sit and be well served. In the summer, there is a pleasant outdoor area to eat in open air.

Furthermore, the owners have recently performed an extensive renovation and modernization of the restaurant and the kitchen, which has significantly added value to the restaurant's environment and effectiveness.

 PRICING: is more than reasonable, given all the above strong points.

 CONCLUSION: If we were to be the judges of AN ACADEMY AWARD COMPETITION for Restaurants of Egyptian / Lebanese Cuisine, THE OSCAR WOULD GO TO SHISH-KEBAB RESTAURANT!

Food was good, calamari has too much breading and little meat. Service is a bit slow even when there wasn't much people.

Excellent food and a cozy atmosphere. You can fully experience the mediteranean culture in this restaurant. The staff are top notch and extremely polite. Their menu has a large variety of meals with a very low price. I strongly recommend this place as its the best lebanese restaurant in Montreal.

Plat avec produit deja fait, la cuisine derriere est vraiment cache mais par contre les assiettes dont libre devant les clients a l air tres propice a attraper ls poussière.la viande etait saignant sur mon pain
prix élevé pour le tout simple jus 3$ + taxe table non associe a un restaurant et plus a un reunion. Pas tres jolie nul comme ambiance, l eau apporter sur la table n était meme pas froide meme elle etait deja pres dans un ptit coin perdu.les bettreaves confits etaient deja pres dur une table
qui peut elle aussi attraper la poussiere tres mal organise comme
restaurant et les frites ca se voyait qui etait pas fraiche, j’avais une doute de l’hygiene et franchement pas gouteux. Je ne recommende pas cette place.

Quality fine Lebanese food that does not skimp on portions at a reasonable price, good service, excellent taste of the food, they know their menu well to be able to explain it to a first time customer. The lamb that I tried is tender, juicy, cooked right, with the combination of the spices/seasoning that is appropriate. Highly recommended, worth coming back.

Terrible service, terrible food, sad atmosphere.

Other reviews sound good, but I know Lebanese food, and this place is one of the worst I've ever been to. The owner who was working as the waitress was grumpy and easily flustered. We waited 10 minutes just to get water. Not sure why we had to wait given that the place was practically empty.

Unfortunately, the lenghty wait for the food was not worth it. We could tell that it was not fresh. The fries were old, almost black in color and dripping with oil. The meat kebabs were as hard as a piece of plastic, and the salad swimming in some dubious sauce, with 3 big slices of tomatoes, placed strategically on top to cover up the wilting lettuces.

We tried to eat a bit while avoiding the waitress and ignoring the loud noise from TV (which was playing ads!) and left as quickly as possible. There are many other good places to eat in Montreal, but this isn't one of them.

One of the best if not the best and greatest food you can have price wise I think it is verry good compare to the quantity and for most the qualoty of the food I own restaurants and let me tell you this restaurant does not use sheap stuff thank you all for the great service from inside out (kitchen to service) thank you Francoise for the great service.

One of the best restaurant, the kebab was perfect (Mashwi sheesh kebab), salads were so fresh and so tasty. Sambousak and kobeiba was marvelous. Its my second time here and would recommend it for everyone. Parking is so convenient too.

First time to Restaurant Shish-Kebab, great food, fresh ingredients, meat quality was excellent. Very friendly staff, chef came to personally see us. Cannot compliment this restaurant enough. I really enjoyed don't hesitate you will love it! Well definately make this a favorite to visit.

Great food. The server was really helpful in answering our questions. Would recommend if anybody is looking for good labanese food. There home made fries were also very good.
