Restaurant Souvlaki Village Grec

Guys you get amazing portions! Staff is very family oriented and friendly Prices are below market for the quality of food! Love this place and been going for years!

On a retourner depuis longtemps dans ce restaurant qu'on avait auparavant aimé et on a été complètement déçu. La nourriture était terriblement mauvaise. Il n'y avait aucun assaisonnement, il fallait mettre beaucoup de sel dans la brochette et même avec sa c'était complètement dégueulasse. Le riz et la patate était remplit de gras, la salade grec était avec aucune vinaigrette ce qui est l'élément principal de la salade grec et pour ne pas dépenser en vinaigrette ils ont mis un citron à côté et sa ce n'est pas une salade grec. La sauce tzatziki était la même chose sans goût et sans parler du pain qui est supposé être a l'ail était un simple pain avec du beurre. Donc, on a été tellement déçu puisque la nourriture que fessait l'ancienne administration était exquis. De plus, le service était non professionnel avec des employé jeunes sans expérience qui ne savent pas bien traiter leur clients. Le serveur voulait nous obliger a donner des pourboires et comme la nourriture était affreuses on a manger juste la moitié de l'assiette on a pas voulu donner du pourboire et il nous a dit de ne plus revenir avec un ton très arrogant. Aussi, il nous a dit si on ne donne pas de pourboire on a rien qu'a faire une commande pour emporter. Ce n'est pas la bonne façon d'agir de un employé. C'était une complète déception à tout les points de vue rien à voir avec le village grec de l'ancienne administration qui nous a fait goûter des plats extraordinaire comme si on serait réellement en Grèce.

Toujours un régal, le meilleur pain pita, au bon goût d'huile d'olive j'ai adoré le poulet aussi. Les serveurs sont adorables, ambiance déco et musique grecque

Je fus très heureux de découvrir par hasard ce restaurant sympathique, convivial et de qualité.
Un excellent service, de la vraie bonne nourriture fraîche et de généreuses portions font en sorte que j'y retournerai avec un immense plaisir.

Decent Souvlaki but the calamari was a scam: small portions and soggy, outrageous price. Pretty bland altogether for what you can get in Chomedey

It used to be my favorite place. Not anymore. Today we came to eat here after a year of pandemic and was very disappointed. First, it's not Greek anymore. Second, they raised all the prices. Finally, two hours before the closure they ran out of food.

This place was my absolute best Greek restaurant ever. They had the best Gyro. I went with my mom since I had not gone there since the pandemic and there was new owners. Apparently the place got sold 2 years ago. They put some kind of a red sauce in the Greek salad instead of olive oil what a joke, the rice was horrible and the taste of the Gyro was nothing of what I remembered it to be. Also there was not one Greek customer there, In the past it was full of Greeks. I wonder why! I will never go back. I was so disappointed:/

This restaurant is the perfect example of a place that is highly respected and popular, going down the drain in no time. The quality has lowered and the prices have sky rocketed. There's no more quality, the chicken is full of fat, the new owners weren't able to keep the standards. I can't used strong words, but I mean them nevertheless. Something like S_, followed by H and finishing with the sound IT.

Restaurant qui a changé de propriétaire malheureusement ils ont perdu leur authenticité. Les serveurs sont très gentil et font presque oublier la lenteur des cuisines. Les spanakopitas sont trop cuit et très petits.la salade, le riz et les patates sont rester a peu près pres semblable. Prix ont légèrement augmenter mais ce qui ma déranger le plus c’est les cuisiniers avec le masque sous le nez ou bien en dessous du menton!

I was a customer for the longest time and ever since the owners changed, it just has gone downhill and tonight was the worst. I refrained from commenting and reviewing for a few times now since I totally understand sometimes its not easy for restaurants and like to give chances. The chicken was not cooked inside and salad had an awful taste and incorrect order. Its a pity since it was a good place. Guess i’ll have to go to other places for now on.

It’s been like 5 years I didn’t eat there, quality and service a big drop. Many other better options for Greek food around.

Very long wait to get the food, 45 minutes we waited to get our appetizer and then waited 25 minutes more to get the food.

Everytime i get village grec, the quality of the food keeps getting worse. The calamaris are not fresh and the plates are not as enjoyable as they used to be. Had a few bites and lost my appetite, i would give 0 stars if i could, you lost loyal client.

Since they changed owners this place is not the same. I just ordered my food & the Pita break was not even Pita bread. It literally fell apart in my hands & was similar to the bread you get with a Shish (It is as if the owners are trying to cut corners with their costs & don't mind feeding us cheap tasting product).

My family & I are both very disappointed nted after getting this meal for my fathers 50th birthday. We will never order from this place again.

Les serveurs sont devenus comme de la famille quand je rentre dans ce resto. La bouffe est toujours aussi bonne, le service incroyable, les portions généreuses et les prix raisonnables. Un must à Laval!

From the time the new owners took over there has been no consistency on the quality of the food. The gyro is either cold or cut in huge pieces. The rice is too salty of there’s no taste. The fries are cold and burnt. It looks like the new owners have converted this place into a fast food restaurant where everything is precooked/ pre-cut (gyro) and slapped together to order.

I'll explain the 3 stars.we are in a pandemic! Where was the control? People walking in, not using the hand sanitizer well that if you see it because to much people, no distancing. I had to back up so many times. I was not too early for my order according to the time I was given over the phone. You should have more control, let customers to wait in their cars and have someone call that person when the order is ready. Your food is great but unfortunately during these times you are not maintaining safe protocols

I used to love this place. It was my favourite Greek restaurant in Laval. The food isn’t that good since the previous owner left.

I have been going here for years. Food is good but a bit pricey for the grilled plate and often a long wait. However i saw the most disturbing image (the cook had no gloves on and kept putting his finger in his mouth and tasting the sauces). I was just happy that the sauces weren't used for my meal. Very unsanitary

Sérieusement, je vous conseil fortement d’aller essayer leurs gyro, tres bon! Sinon toute sur leur menu et délicieux! Le meilleur endroit authentique Grec!

Les gyros sont délicieux, les frites sont bonnes.quand la salle à manger sera ouverte, je vous conseille de prendre une entrée tzatziki! Les portions sont grosses et de qualité!

Love this restaurant! My family and I either go and eat there or order in when we want authentic Greek cuisine! Never disappoints!

Use to be a regular customer at least every week from the time it opened and the food plus portion size was excellent, but unfortunately from the time it was sold the food is not the same, very inconsistent each time I order, the new owners seems nice and I hope he goes back to offering the same portions and food like the previous owner!

Je suis client depuis plusieurs années. La nourriture est bonne. Malheureusement le restaurant a été vendu et les nouveaux propriétaires on augmente les prix sous prétexte du covid, d'une façon scandaleuse. Je venais dîner régulièrement pendant le midi express à 10.95$ repas servis avec café et dessert. Maintenant plus de midi express plus de café ni dessert et ça me coûte plus de 20 $ avec les taxes.

Hi I gave 5 stars 3 years ago. For the last 4 visits I've got very disappointed. I assume they sold the place and the 5 star gero/yero today tastes bad! Farewell my favorite food!

I use to love this place, but I had it recently and it’s not the same. The meat wasn’t as tasty and tender, and the tzatsiki was not as good as it use to be. It’s sad because this was my go to for Greek food, but now I will have to look elsewhere.

Was the best yero (doner) in Montreal. Now, not so much. Once, maybe twice, if the food isn't good you can think that they had a bad day especially if it had been excellent before. But now it's five times in a row that it's not tasty. The meat wasn't tasty and the sauce (tzajiki) wasn't right. I have been driving from the other side of town once a week to eat here. No more.

A lot has changed since new owners took over the business. Service not as good as before and that unique taste of the pork souvlaki and gyro is gone. Too bad because they had a winning recipe.

J'y suis aller pour le lunch. Le prix et mon assiette gyros était super bon. Le service était correcte. Si tu as un craving de manger du grec c'est la place!
