Restaurant Violet Angel

The pizzas were very good, specifically the mon Petit jerk. Unfortunately when we were there it was raining so we didn't get the chance to sit on the terrace, however the interior ambiance is good too.
The server came to the table a lot and kept asking if they can take the plates.

Honestly, the pizza is good but I ordered the salad with beats and prosciutto and it wasn’t at all to my liking. I spoke to the restaurant manager (Nik) and he was very rude with terrible customer service. I wouldn’t recommend to those who expect good customer service from the manager himself. He was going against my review on the salad instead of compensation.

Delicious pizza! The four cheese pizza, the one with the grilled veggies, and the one with grilled beets are absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend this great pizza place. Beautiful patio right by the water, too.

Nous étions un jeudi vers 13h00. Pas trop de monde à l'intérieur. Nous avons partagé une pizza au proscuitto et portobello sur lit de roquette; "Proscuitto e rocula". Nous l'avons demandé sans fromage de chèvre. Elle était excellente. Sa croûte était parfaitement croustillante, la pizza n'était pas trop grasse, le goût était savoureux. Vraiment très bonne! Penchant un tantinet trop sur le salé, mais ce n'était pas gênant. De très haute qualité à mon avis.

Année après année ce restaurant est toujours aussi bon! Le chèvre chaud mon coup de coeur et les pizzas sont excellentes! Très bon service aussi et La terrasse extérieure est super jolie!

The owners should reevaluate their staff. Extremely rude hostess. They were not accommodating at all. We had two young kids and a pregnant family member. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet they didn’t want to push an extra table together so that we can sit all together. They were seating us at table were two of us were at the very edge of the balcony with no railing. They’d rather have clients sit dangerously than simply add an extra table. Meanwhile there was a larger group of at least 14 people sitting at tables that were pushed together. Unfortunately this restaurants staff is incompetent, seeing that it’s a seasonal spot. Summer is there peak season, they should be accommodating.

I love this restaurant- lovely setting, lovely people. I ordered a salad with mangos and grilled chicken. The mangos were barely visible, and the chicken was cooked well however it was drenched in salt. Very disappointing- My dressing on the side was only oil- This was replaced with nice dressing. The salty chicken is an easy fix and hopefully the next time I am there, it will not be the same.

The atmosphère near water is great! The staff is kind and helpful and the pizza are amazing. Would highly recommend eating here

The thing I like about this place is that it is so unassuming. If you blink while driving you will miss it but the smell will guide you back. Excellent array of pizzas and salads. My favourite is the chicken mango pizza preceeded by any one of their amazing salads (thai angel being my favourite). The husband is usually in the kitchen making the pizza and the wife hovers around the tables like an angel making sure everyone is taken care of. On a warm day, the full grown trees ruffling in your midst, the view of the boats on the water and an ice cold pint of Stella Artois beer, it is the quintesential ste anne de bellevue experience. Be patient as most of the time it is packed.

We liked this place they way it used to be couple of years ago. Not anymore. Today with my wife we entered the patio not paying attention to the sign which says ‘exit only’. We used to get there before the same way. The waitress told us we used the wrong entrance. I apologized and asked her if she wants us to leave now because of that. ‘Yes’ she answered. ‘I want you leave, go around the building use the main entrance, go through the indoor dining area to get to the patio’. Our last visit.

We went to Violet Angel in late afternoon as part of a day trip to Sainte Anne de Bellevue. The restaurant is quite large in size when the patio is open, and everything was clean and well organised. Staff were pleasant and attentive. The setting can't be beat-you are right on the water. The lunch menu had a salad and pizza combination that we tried. The salad was the usual garden salad, but the pizza was really quite good-thin crust, lots of toppings. We had the Greek Pizza and the feta and Kalamata olives really made for a unique taste. I would come back here again, most definitely.

The Place Is great, in front of the st Laurent, very beautiful.
The food Is also great, pizza are a bit heavy so better sharing them between people.

The taste of food is remarquable: the pizza is unique but they have the best starter menu ever all the items are worth trying

Love their bruschetta! My husband and I sometimes just order that for lunch. Pizza is good as well. Decent white sangria and have a beautiful terrace by the water.

Had a delicious lunch today with my son under the vine covered pergola at the Violet Angel. Their thin crust pizzas are very tasty. Paired with the Paisan salad and Sangria made for a perfect summer lunch.

Notre serveuse était impeccable, le service du management était TRÈS vulgere. Célia was great! Au moment où l'on es entré, le manager Evy et Cris étaient visiblement en colère.

Good food, good service and a nice terrasse on the water. It gets a lot of music from the Mexican restaurant next door, but that mostly just adds to the ambiance.

Nous avons pris:

- la salade Saluté avec un ajout de poulet citronné. Elle était savoureuse et le poulet vraiment tendre, un match parfait!

- la pizza "mon p'tit jerk". Juste assez de bacon et d'oignons caramélisés. Le poulet jerk bien relevé, c'était excellent! La prochaine fois, j'y ajouterai de la roquette agrémenté d'huile piquante.

Les pizzas artisanales sont excellentes et originales. Juste un commentaire constructif, remplacer la salade mesclun (qui devient molle et inintéressante) par de la roquette dans la pliée au poulet jerk.

Ordered Chorizo pizza, very small amount was put on and flavor was underwhelming, wouldn't order this type again

I'm here all the time. Great staff, quality food. I usually get a pizza and a large caesar salad to split with my honey. The house wine is particularly good also! See you there!

I live in Sainte Anne’s and have a lot of experience with this place. Last night I walk my dog past and could see that With the reduced seating (during covid) it looked full so when I got home I decide to order out for my girlfriend and I. The woman was rude and disrespectful that I was ordering out even though I had just walked past and saw that the place was full. The pizza was actually a joke. The grilled vegetables were so undercooked and just thrown in a pile on a poorly cooked pizza. It was probably the worst I’ve ever had in my life and I’m not even exaggerating. 60$ for a nasty woman to throw two uncooked pizzas in a box, never again.

What a magical restaurant! Stunning terrace with a view of the boardwalk and water, but the inside is very nice as well. Especially in the Fall when they put out candles and you can smell the pizza cooking in the wood-fire oven.just such a warm and cozy atmosphere.

There’s no explicit vegan option, so I always get the Fresco with no cheese and make use of the chilli oil. Mmmm, so good! There are many items on the menu and they have a good lunch special. This is one of favourite sit-down restaurants in the West Island, can’t say enough good things!

OH MY GOSH. Best restaurant in Ste-Anne’s E-V-E-R! How amazing is the food from that restaurant! Soooooo tasty we couldn’t believe it! We ordered from UberEats and everything arrived super hot, and extremely quick. 30 minutes after ordering! We had the Spicy Oven Feta (appetizer), the Thai Angel Salad with Lemon chicken, and the Fresco Pizza. Omg so delicious. We will define tôt order again! Thank you so much!:)

Fantastic service and even better food! Wonderful layout and a cozy terrace. All employees were properly equipped and sanitizing regularly. Will definitely be returning for another occasion.

I wish we were living in different times, but it is what it is. I can totally see this place having such a lively atmosphere during peak times. Their terrace is beautiful, service was great, food was good, but nothing special.

J y retournerais pas avant longtemps. Nous y mangeons tres souvent et notre derniere experience catastrophique.
Nous avons pris 2 pizza et elle ne goutais pas comme d habitude, pate pas cuite, ingredient moins present sur la pizza. On s'est forcer pour la manger. Lorsque la serveuse a demandé est ce bon? Alors qu on a laisser 1/4 dans l assiette, elle dit je vais transmettre votre plainte au cuisinier. Elle revient 10 min apres pour nous dire oui c est vrai la pate etait pas cuite, il y avait beaucoup de monde c est pour sa. Beaucoup de monde = 7 tables.
Aucune excuse ni offre etc
Nous l avons encouragé durant covid etc mais la c est finit. Le covid n est pas une excuse a tout. 75 $ gâché.

Mon premier resto après 4 mois! LE bonheur! Alors j'ai choisi celui qui me semblait le meilleur sur la rue à Ste-Anne, là oèu la vue est belle! Superbe terrasse, staff chaleureux et règles respectées. Un italien on ne se trompe pas! Sangria. (je sais c'est pas italien!) était correct! Premier plat: champignon portobelo.ouille Aie Aie! Tellement vinaigré que j'en ai encore les dents du fonds qui twistent. Je l'ai mentionné à la serveuse. Deuxième plat: Aubergines parmigiana, tellement salées que je n'ai pas fini mon assiette. Je n'ai rien dit. Moi qui voulais revenir pour un souper galant. Ca n'arrivera pas! Dommage. Mais leur pizza avait l'air bonne, j'aurais due ;-)

Has a varied menu including but not limited to several types of pizza and great desserts can be enjoyed on the small terrace in the warmer weather. Staff is friendly and food is good
