I go to this place regularly and I will be completely honest here. The food is delicious, amazing combos and the taste is just divine, no complaints at all about the food, but the waiting time is an issue sometimes. It takes more than 30 minutes and the last couple of times I’ve been there, we’ve had to call the waitress to remind her about missing food, but because the waiting time is usually long we never know if she forgot or it’s just taking long, also the food is not served all at once, you get some stuff first and the rest may or may not come a dozen of minutes later. Also, my boyfriend and I like to mix flavours, we always wait till everything is on the table, so it takes a long time so we can finally eat.

My favourite place to eat! The food is generous, the prices are right and the pupusas are a MUST! I’ve been coming here regularly for 5 years now.

Très beau petit resto familiale, très bonne cuisine, aliments toujours frais, bon service, je le recommande fortement, très belle expérience, la musique et les mets nous font voyager.

Terrible service from the kitchen only for some tamales that were already made for 50 minutes and also rude because they asked for no cream

It is the second time that I go to the place, the food is very good but the attention is not, the first time that I went I arrived at 9 and it took a while to serve the food and there were 10 minutes to go until 10 at night and I was raising the chairs at the table, starting to sweep and he felt like he wanted to run away from the people, they don't even say that they close for so long. We had to eat quickly and leave today the food was delayed and he asked how long it takes and the person who attends, 0 kind with his answers.

I came here with my SO and we were mind blown at how good the food was, the portions are very generous as well. Will be definitely coming back.

Good food at reasonable prices.

For about $60 with tax, myself and two others enjoyed tamales, two pupusas each, horchata, coffee, and as much curtido as we could stuff ourselves with. I was so full I didn't eat till dinner the next day!

The food was good, and they have huge jars of curtido on the table that you can help yourself to with tongs.

We were concerned about the service being slow based on other reviews, but our appetizers came out quickly, and we weren't even done eating them when our pupusas came out.

The atmosphere was warm, dim, and good for a date without seeming too stuffy. Patrons should feel comfortable to talk and laugh aloud in this restaurant.

Was the food mind-blowing? As someone who's traveled to Latin America - no - but it was good enough that I'd gladly return again. They also have reasonable combo meals for small and large parties.

A place to try the authentic taste of Salvadoran food in Montreal, the price and quality ratio is definitely unbeatable, the food is delicious, definitely if you are curious to try the pupusas I recommend this place.

Notre découverte du week-end, notre fils nous a fait découvrir ce restaurant extraordinaire, la cuisine est délicieuse et le personnel est exceptionnel, vous devez absolument essayer un horchata c’est une boisson sucrée du pays mais ça vaut la peine de l’essayer. Bon repas à tous.

Tout à fait fait d’accord avec l’avis de Mili Ouellette, même horrible expérience, je suis aller ilya 10 jours et j’ai aussi commandé une pupusa de porc (chicharrón) et fromage, et quand j’ai le goûté, je le pas avalé, heureusement car, était complètement pourrie, et l’odeur insupportable, (en plus d’être complètement crû et mouillé dans l’huile ancienne) donc, je suis aller me plaindre et même réponse que Mili, « impossible que soit pourrie, « , l’arrogance dû serveur ou propriétaire ne m’a pas découragé et j’ai l’invité à essayer et sentir, il l’a amener en arrière et a confirmé qu’était bonne, j’ai refusé de le manger et ils m’ont donné une autre, malheureusement j’étais trop traumatisé par l’odeur et j’ai suis partie, bien sûr ils m’ont pas chargé.
Aussi à mon arrivée ils ont décidé que j’ai mangé pas de picante et on refusé de me servir de légumes marinés picante comme les autres tables, jusqu’à que je me suis plainte, ils m’ont répondu, « no, sa c’est trop picante pour vous « , quoi? Ils connais mes goûts? Ok, je suis très blanche mais, j’aime le piment fort. Finalmente ils m’ont amener les restes utilisés de la table à côté, bien sûr je les est pas touché. Svp ilia de très bonnes restos à Montréal, n’aller pas ici

A simple, no frills little diner with some great food. The pupusas were tasty, affordable, and came out pretty quickly. The combos offered were actually a pretty great value. Would definitely recommend.

Solid 4 stars. Food is pretty good, price is reasonable. Only thing is that the service was incredibly slow.i never though dining a quick lunch with a simple combo meal would have taken almost 2 hours.

Les pupusas sont plus comme avant et pourtant le prix est monté à 3.95 chaque. La mixte (porc et fromage) était fait de porc hâché mal cuit au lieu du traditionnel porc effiloché et assaisonné avec du goût. La qualité et l'authenticité laisse à désirer. Sans oublier l'attente. Nous avons reçu notre pichet de boisson après nos plats.alors que les autres tables avait leur boisson pour attendre leurs plats.

Super restaurant de pupusas! Les meilleurs en ville. Le service est excellent et les prix son abordable. Je recommande fortement

Go to Resto Los Planes for all your pupusa needs - you will not be disappointed! Had lunch there for the first time today and it was so good. Plantains with creme and refried beans were perfect, I haven't had such good (delicious and not mushy/greasy) plantains in years. My husband and I shared 2 trios for lunch: plantains, pupusas, and an enchilada, and shared a horchata. All the pupusas were really excellent and well-stuffed and the salsa, hot sauce, and pickled slaw on the side were great too. The price was right at $40 for everything which is barely more than I paid for a single bowl of ramen in the Plateau yesterday. We had a churro for dessert which had a tasty dulce de leche filling. It is the second best churro I've had in Montreal because Che Churro is the best for the slightly heated crispy exterior and the optimal pastry to filling ratio. Would def go back to Los Planes.

From Toronto, usually I dislike pupusas, these where phenomenal, I loved them, the Chicharon and the Peperoni and cheese ones tasted amazing full of flavour and perfectly toasted. Lots of praise and a must visit in Montréal

Je vais rarement à ce restaurant pour manger des pupusas alors je peux pas trop juger. À ma dernière visite les pupusas etaient extrêmement salées. J'ai pas réussi à manger toutes mes pupusas. Le serveur d'origine Vénezuelienne par contre était très serviable. Excellent service!

The place was a little too hot inside even though there was an AC. But the food was amazing and the staffs were super friendly!

Très mauvais service, ils servent les tables réservés au téléphone en première la nourriture manque de goût, manque de fromage dans les pupusas, je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Première et dernière fois plus jamais.

Food was bussin, i loved to bring my girlfriend and show her these amazing dishes, only thing that went wrong is they forgot us and we waited 45minutes before they brought our entry on a not so busy night. Anyways, everything came fresh but we starved so hard

I love pupusas and we wanted to get to know a new restaurant serving them! We ordered the family #2 combo with 6 pupusas, yuka fritas, chicharonnes and a picher of Horchata. The chicharonnes and the yuka were both perfectly fried on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. The Horchata was deliciously sweet, the right level of sweet, very addictive! I enjoyed the pupusas but they could have been slightly more charred, and the cabbage slaw to put on a top could have been a little more vinegary. We also ordered plantains that came with beans and creme, everything was super flavorful. Overall, delicious meals, good ambiance, would come back! Good service and the wait time was reasonable.

The place where I learned to love pupusas! Yes, service is a bit slow. But I always get what I expect and prices are fair. My usual order: a couple pupusas including bean, cheese, lococo and chicken. Tamales, nachos, and fried plantain. Salivating just thinking about it…

Je vais à ce restaurant depuis plus de 15ans et pour moi c’est le meilleur restaurant salvadorien à Montréal ️ Essayez leurs enchiladas et taquitos dorados avec une horchata bien sure

Beau, bon, pas cher! Tout ce que j'ai goûté était bon. J'ai particulièrement aimé les nachos et les différents breuvages.

La nourriture manque de goût, très insipide. Le service est super lente et la serveuse peu attentive. Le prix est correct.

Prix abordable. Service est très lente. La bouffe est de qualité moyenne. Café très mouvais. Ça sera ma première et dernière fois ici.

All the food we ordered was delicious. The service is very friendly and all very affordable. I would recommend to anyone.

I love their pupusas but no one in the kitchen was wearing a mask. I won't be back until after the pandemic, I don't trust this place to follow public health protocols. Too bad.

Mais churros trop dure, burritos au boeuf vraiment désagréable (cartilage) et ça m'a déplu l'utilisation d'un fromage jaune dans la salade.

Wow. I usually go to another place nearby but since I got so many recommendations from others to try this place, I gave it a shot. This will now be my go to place for Salvadoran food.
