Rib'N Reef Steakhouse and Cigar Lounge

I love this steak house! It’s soooo good and cozy. I would highly recommend trying this steak house. The staff is like family! From abdou to Patrick! They are simply the best

Went to pick up a client that I transport for Point Zero 8 and the Valet and workers were so helpful thank you for being this way I appreciate.

Very expensive for average food. Charging very expensive cutting fees for the cake without telling anybody. Forcing tips as well
. Not worth the cost.

A very good meal though very expensive. Both our steaks and salmon were prepared perfectly. The salad was basic and certainly not worth ordering at the price. Service is attentive and excellent

I went there for my birthday, jannuaryb2nd. I loved everything about that place. From the decor to the drinks and the food.

It will always be hard to earn 5 stars at the price point Rib’n’Reef is at, but this restaurant met very high expectations just the same. Very attentive service, very well-prepared food. Only drawback was the slightly excessive dressing they gave our table-prepared Ceasar salad (we asked for salad for 2 but they might have applied enough dressing for 3). But the signature 17oz roast beef delivered to high expectations, and a very satisfying experience overall. Just make sure to save up for the event.

This restaurant has great food with a warm feeling, Our waiter was very welcoming and attentive, giving us the best service possible.

Serivce irréprochable, Belle ambiance, Nourriture délicieuse, Service de voiturier sur place, Agréable et sans pression. On y as été de 12h00 à 14h00 sans problème. Je recommande pour affaire ou pour se gâter.

The drink service was outstanding! The gentleman that prepares your drinks, right at the table, is a 10 star in my books! The somnelier is also out of this world. He knew exactly what to bring to the table, was conscious of our price range and brought us the perfect bottle for our meal pairing. Unfortunately, since our last visit (pre-covid), the waiter seemed nervous and while it was okay, we just felt like there was something a little off. While we thought that the food was to die for the last time, this time we'd just say good. We again went with the cesar salad for 2, filet mignonette, monte carlo potato and asparagus. The meal was good, but for the price, we were expecting just a bit better. Overall, we still had a nice evening, just a few tweaks and it will definitely go back to 5 stars.

Picked this restaurant for a business Meal.
Service was on point and we did not have any issues with the food.

I found that they served the table with exceptional pride and paid attention to our every asking.

Definitely will be back again.

Save your money or spend it elsewhere.

Rude condescending waiter, no class, overcooked cold steaks etc etc.
Spent over 800$ for 2, ate fast and ran out the door.

Mr. Katsoudas, you must throw some sailors overboard before your ship sinks.

Old or new employees. If they’re not delivering the service your customers are expecting from a fine dinning establishment It’s time for them to be laid off.

When returning customers don’t wanna return anymore. You know something is wrong.

We heard about this place for decades and finally went for a romantic dinner. This is honestly a gem, our server, James was absolutely amazing!
The BEST steak we had in a long time! Amazing place, classy atmosphere, not just the food (the cocktails are divine!)

Very poor service. Waiter forgot about us because he was too busy having a chat with his friends. He also forgot to bring us the bread to our table which is customary, I had to remind him to do so. Overall, I will never comeback to that restaurant, again, very poor service for what you pay for.

J’ai fait une réservation pour 9 personnes à 6h sur la terrasse (avec confirmation) un mois à l’avance pour un souper de bachelier et on m’a appelé presque deux semaines avant pour me dire que ma réservation devra être déplacée a 8h30. J’ai demandé pourquoi et on m’a dit que ce c’est pour “respecter des tables de 4 personnes”. On m’a confirmé que ce n’est pas possible d’ajouter 1 place de plus pour l’heure de 6pm et que c’est seulement disponible plus tard en soirée de faire cette configuration. J’ai dû annuler ma réservation.

J'ai adoré l'expérience! J'ai pu savourer une excellente côté de boeuf 17oz cuisiné en cuisson lente! Un régale. Par la suite un petit tour au cigare lounge afin de pouvoir boire un bon rhum avec un excellent cigare. Un vrai régale. Alors oui on pourrait dire que la sélection de rhum n'est pas bien exhaustive ou alors que leur frite sont moins bonne que les frites McDo. Mais cela n'enlève rien à la bonne expérience.

650$ mistake! Overpriced and careless waiters. We ordered 2 steaks, 1 lobster 2 sides and a bottle of Champagne. Steak was subpar (ordered the PK steak medium rare which was served well done), the lobster was just average and way overpriced at 160$ and wasn't even served with a lemon wedge! Our waiter disappeared after 30min without any word and we were served by 3 different waiters afterwards. Sorry this is unacceptable in a restaurant thats claims to be an "elegant steakhouse", it shows total lack of respect for it's customers. We ordered a bottle of Veuve which was served in a bucket on the side of the table, the waiters only refilled the glasses twice and never asked us if we wanted to order another bottle. They also forgot it was our son's anniversary. Do not come to this restaurant if you're looking to have a memorable dinner, we came ready to splurge ourselves and unfortunately we kept thinking how badly we got scammed. We came because of the high number of reviews, which really don't match the experience we had. There was really nothing that impressed us, everything was bellow average, will never return.

If you are someone who doesn’t have deep pockets but is wanting to splurge on a special night, by all means DO NOT go here.
My bf and I are huge foodies and we like trying new places. For his birthday, I decided to treat him to something nice so we went here. Oh boy, was that a bad decision.where do I start?
- The steaks were burnt, the caesar salad was horrible, and everything else was honestly pretty bland.
- We ordered sodas since we don’t drink and they brought out those mini bottles they sell at the gas station (the ones that are smaller than a can) and then proceeded to charge 6 dollars for each of them…? ! What? !
(Also they could have at least poured it before bringing it to the table in order to hide what they were charging 6$ for.lol)
- I told the waiter how bad the caesar salad was, and he could see that we did not eat it since both our plates were full, yet he basically shrugged it off and I still had to pay for it.
- The waiter also suggested that we were lying about the birthday, even though I had marked it in the reservation.

There’s a lot more to say but to conclude it really was not worth 400$ (plus the tip). I’ve had much better steak at the Keg.
I can’t speak for everyone but like I said, if this meal is going to make a dent in your bank account then I would highly suggest going elsewhere for much better food at a lower cost.

Rib & Reef est un Steak house où il faut se donner l'opportunité d'y retourner pour en apprécier ce qui fait de cet établissement le meilleur du genre en Amérique du Nord. Bien entendu il servent des steaks fabuleux mais aussi un éventail de poissons et fruits de mer préparés avec attention.

Mais ce qui différencie le Rib & Reef des autres steak house, c'est le mot "house" car l'accueil du personnel vous fera vous sentir à la maison. Vous serez surpris après quelques visites de découvrir que les serveurs vous accueil par votre nom.

Mais plus que ça, vous trouverez peux d'endroits où les valets prennent en charge votre véhicule tous les jours de la semaine à compter de 11h, un endroit où vos invités entre sur le tapis rouge et un bar ou vous pouvez prendre un verre le temps que vos amis arrivent.

Pour couronner le tout, vous pouvez changer d'ambiance au courant de la soirée en allant prendre un verre de vin sur la terrasse en choisissant dans une des cartes de vin les plus élaborée au monde, ou savourer votre digestif préféré en fumant un cigare frais au cigar lounge où, disons les, le personnel de service est sélectionné avec soin.

The ribeye PK's cut and the mac and cheese were unseasoned. Everything was cooked okay but I found the food quite bland.was expecting a lot more flavor for the price. The chocolate lava cake was rich and delicious. Don't know if Rib n Reef is a repeat.

We went here before the lockdown, restaurant was extremely packed, we had to wait awhile for them to setup a new table for us. Service was very slow but it’s understandable because of how busy the restaurant was. I ordered dry-aged steak. Which was perfectly cooked to my liking and tasted delicious. My partner ordered giant grilled shrimps. Which were also very flavourful and delicious. I really enjoyed my experience but probably would’ve enjoyed it even more if the restaurant wasn’t super packed.

Started off on the wrong foot at the parking lot, I parked right in front of the door and a valet driver gives me hell I cannot park there I have to park further away …. Is it not why there are Valet service to park your car away not close to door they have that all wrong. I ordered a salad with blue cheese and I felt like going to the kitchen and prepare it myself… nothing was cut/ sliced the whole iceberg lettuce? Was on my plate I had to blend the dressing and the crumbled blue cheese myself, usually in a suppose classy restaurant the blue cheese is melted with a touch of garlic and butter then added to the creamy dressing to pour over your dressing. The salad also came with three cherry tomatoes wow, for the asking price I could of feed the entire Israeli army! I asked for Rose Wine by the glass on the menu stated $7.00 but on the bill $17.00 … I asked for cappuccino coffee when I lifted the cup to drink it … the saucer had the Nespresso Logo … could you believe this! Also instead of training their staff on how to prepare a Caesar’s Salad properly in their own kitchen a new member of the waiter clan was being thought on the client’s clock which really looked extremely unprofessional for what you are paying for…. So the client is the lab rat for the newbie’s errors. And the decor is a real must see for no no in high class atmosphere to be honest the only thing that was well put together was the table setting and the courteous waiters.

Upon my arrival I saw staff/ and management not wearing masks multiple times throughout my visit. I was greeted by a hostess and coat check that had clear plastic masks open at the top. My waiter was fantastic! The food was fantastic!

If you want to have the BEST experience ask for Firio he's so genuine and always happy. It brings the whole Rib N' Reef experience to another level!

Food is good place is cozy, love it!

Everything there was excellent. There a great wine selection and an exquisite menu. I tried the beluga caviar which was nicely presented and what to say about the steak! The portion is very generous which is reflected in the price. My favourite was the caesar salad that they make right in front in you!

When you first arrive at This restaurant you notice theyv have a vallet parking which is very usufull in winter. We ordered Great steak? , it came cooked to perfection the service was excellent. The only issue is the price. It's expensive but this was expected for this quality of food and service. Also we have a excellent bottle of wine

Amazing food, if you like great steaks & seafood this is the place for you.
Warm, comfortable, elegant atmosphere.

Excellent wine (like really nice) & drink selection.

We had the hot platter, bakes oysters we’re well seasoned and perfectly done.
Grilled octopus was nicely charred with red onions and a hint of fresh dill.
Jumbo grilled garlic shrimp we’re amazing.

For our mains we enjoyed 2 rib steaks, done perfectly to our requested cook.
Smooth tasty bacon cheese Montecarlo potato.

No room left to have any dessert unfortunately.
Definitely will be back to try some of the smoked salmon and the chateaubriand.

Un peu déçu, j’y suis allée pour mon anniversaire, nous avons commandé salade cesar pour 2 (sur le menu c’es indiqué préparé à la table) le serveur fait semblant qu’il l’a fait derrière nous, ce qui est faux. Même chose pour mon amie sauce au poivre 20$ préparer a la table et on lui amene un petit plat de sauce fait en cuisine. Bref fausse publicité. Plus de porterhouse ou tomahawk en stock, nous demandons au serveur un steak avec os pour 2 il nous fait choisir un steak qui au final est pour 1 seule personne… trop tard pour recommander. Quelqu’un a commandé a distance une bouteille cadeau pour la fêtée et la bouteille est envoyé dans une autre table pendant au moins 1heure. Les chauffages extérieurs sont fermés pour les fumeurs. Bref déçu, a la fin le pourboire est conséquent au service que l’on a eu et l’on se fait dire qu’il n’y a pas assez de pourboire…

Food was great, I had a delicious steak with a side of mashed potatoes and a molten lava cake for dessert.

Je suis partie au restaurant et tout était tres bien,
jusqu’au moment qu’un serveur nous crie dessus, un certian Serrio.
Car pour lui 15% de tips ne suffisait pas il fallait peut-être plus de 20%.
Car selon lui son service méritait plus.
Il s’est mi a crier sur nous devant tout le restaurant!
Je suis juste dégoûté!
Je ne remettrai plus les pieds dans ce restaurant malgré que la bouf était pas mal!

Very disappointing experience. The food is ok (not great) and the service is awful. The hostess is unfriendly and definitely not welcoming. The servers do the minimum and barely speak. There’s lots of waiters standing around talking to each other (complete ineffective use of resources). We spent $600 for 2 people and had much better food and service elsewhere. I’d suggest going to Gibby’s or The Keg both in the Old Port.

Bruitant, tout le monde se promène sans masque, les serveuses jasent avec leur gang d'habituer (ceux qui pense être seul dans la place et qui cris) et on a l'impression des les dérangé si on commande, service bête. Menu peu garni pour les spiritueux et la bières, qui sont tous a des prix trop élevé, mais BCP trop

Old fashioned Steak house with amazing appetizers, steaks and seafood. Whenever I am in Montreal, I always make time to go to eat here and never disappointed. Starting from the excellent valet service, greeted by the hostess to the meal. 10 out of 10!

While services and foods were great, i do feel that it is a little overpriced. The place is a joint for wealthy people so i guess the prices are justified. Funny thing is there is a valet service where they park all the nicest cars close to the entrance, like the fact that mine was further away, get to do some exercices =]

I expected this place to be a luxury restaurant with spectacular sevice. On the contrary, the food quality was really poor, staff are not well-trained and mostly confused without enough knowledge about the food and the menu.
Salad was good and that is the only reason that I gave 1 star. The main dish (steak) was supposed to be prepared at the table. That didn't happen and in fact nobody told us about it despite what was written in the menu. The steak also didn't taste good. Not seasoned well and was not medium as we requested.
The cocktails were mostly water and juice. Overall, worse experience in my life compared to what I paid.
I am not sure why the place has a good rating. Maybe it was better before pandemic.
NOT RECOMMENDED AND WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.

Food was just OK. Quality of everything is below average. Service is baaaaaaad. Very expensive for what it is. I thought it was a " high end " restaurant. But NO. Really not worth it. Spoon dirty, soup bowl chipped and much more details of sort. The bread sticks were very dated etc. If I have to say everything wrong with place, it would take forever, regardless service should be muuuuuch better for such a place. Too bad!

Food was horrible! We spent 150$ to still be hungry. It hurt our stomach bad so therefore the food wasn’t fresh. I won’t be going back there ever again.

Ce fut une expérience magnifique. Le service était tout simplement incroyable, personnalisé et convivial. La nourriture était tout simplement merveilleuse (le meilleur repas du MOIS). Le paradis pour les papilles gustatives et pour les yeux.

I visited Wednesday Evening. I was honestly excited. A Steakhouse with a Cigar Lounge!? How could you go wrong? I tried to make a reservation as it was a 30 minute drive from the hotel. It wouldn’t let me, as they only take reservations for guest of 2+. I headed that way anyway.
When I got there and walked in, the hostess was rather cold. Asked if I had a reservation, I told her I had tried to make one, but was denied as it’s just myself. She asked if I wanted to sit as the bar. I said I would rather have a table. (I wish at this point I had been told, you can sit in the cigar lounge and eat)
I was seated in the bar area. I sat there for quite some time. No one came by. Another couple was sat next to me. A server finally stopped by and asked if I would like a drink. So I ordered a cocktail. More time went by. The couple next to me ordered drinks. More time. They ordered there appetizers. More time. Their drinks came out and they ordered their dinners. More time. Finally another server came over and asked if I needed anything. I said yes I’d love to order, I’m starving. I put my order in with this server. The one that started with me never came back, he walked by a few times, but never stopped. My food came out and another person brought it out. I was never asked if I’d like another cocktail, more water or anything else for that matter.
I got the 12oz roast beef and it was very good. No complaints with the food that evening.

Was I shunned because I was alone? Because I’m covered in tattoos? Because I look like I might not tip?

I got out of here fairly cheap. I still tipped 25% even though this is the worst service I’ve had in the past couple years. Neither of them deserved it, but I’m not that person either.

I was going to rate the place a single star. BUT, I came here for a cigar as well.

So, I went upstairs. And let me tell you. The two ladies upstairs completely and utterly changed the whole evening. I stayed for another 4 hours drinking and smoking cigars. It was like two completely different establishments. Like I said earlier. I wish I had known I could eat up there. I would of had service were I didn’t have to beg to order, and beg for a cocktail. They were pleasant to talk, attentive to everyone in the room.

I can’t say I’ll be back to eat downstairs, but I’ll return to visit the cigar lounge and the great staff upstairs. I’d suggest sorting out the rest, it’s embarrassing.

Très bel endroit. Propre. Nourriture délicieuse. Présentation et goût 10/10. Service impeccable. L'hôte, les serveurs et les valets sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. Pour un bon moment entre ami (e) s ou en amoureux. Je vous le recommande fortement.

Unbelievably rude and disorganized. Tired of boring chains I was hoping for something akin to an old-school steakhouse and ended up dealing with the restaurant equivalent of an outdoor latrine.

Save your money.

Service was amazing! Make sure you have the money to spend, can you guess? 5 people, our bill was 3000$:) yes, 3300$:)
