I initially gave this place 5 Stars because the customer service seemed pretty good. But now I finally understand why there are so many bad reviews for this place. Their return policy is absolutely horrendous. Firstly, they told me that there's a 15% restocking fee. I just wanted to return 4 unopened cabinet knobs and buy 4 cabinet pulls. I didn't like the look of the 4 cabinet knobs for where I was initially going to put them and decided that pulls would look better. The cabinet pulls are actually more expensive so ultimately they would end up making more money. But they told me that on top of this 15% restocking fee they don't even take returns less than $50. I don't understand.is that even legal to have a policy of not accepting returns if it's under $50? I've never purchased from a store that had such a terrible return policy. If I could give 0 stars I would. I won't ever be shopping at this place again.

Very disappointed in the level of customer service I ordered 2 spray polish over the phone From this location March 23rd as l have a cleaning company to be picked up in Mississauga I was never told sold cheaper on Amazon but was told I wouldn’t have to pay the freight charge by salesperson on other end
Well upon pick up which was less than 8 hrs from North
York as per my invoice my ordered was $65.56! $24.38 Freight charge
I was told couldn’t be fixed by them pay and they will adjust it as l left work drove all the way for pick up
I called back and was told just give us a few days to figure it out as l paid by debit
Today is June 6 and still no called back
what a joke.

I had to return two hinges, spring loaded, that broke a closing attenuator in my hands, without being installed. They seems to be very desperate to sell this product for 130$ because the person at the counter starts to ask very weird questions about usage. I told them that the hinges were never installed and I will choose a better quality product. They kept the product, no refund was given saying that they will do test on the item to verify if what i said is the truth, and only after that they issue a store credit. A completely unusual practice, knowing that in my 24 years of construction experience, I never return anything to them. I found this behavior in accordance with other bad reviews I saw online for them. Shame Richelieu!

Worse company to work for. Employees are nice at saint Laurent, but customer service directors and supervisors are bad and incapable to manage. Because of it, customer service team end up overworking and taking calls nonstop. Not a good company to work for if want flexibility. You can never take time off to go to appointments. The salary is way too low for customer service compared to what you do. You start at $17 And after a year you get $0,35 increase if you lucky, which is a joke.

Worse company to work for. The management does not care and the CEO of the company cares only about $$ and numbers and doesn’t value employees. You answer more than 100 calls a day, working like an animal for less than $17 an hour. Not only that, but they accuse you of many things that aren’t true because they are incapable of managing the place.

Jacques est un horrible employé. Il m’a accueilli avec mépris et m’a fait sentir comme si je le dérangeait. J’ai dû demander à être servi par quelqu’un d’autre tellement il était désagréable et incompétent. Évitez le si vous devez absolument y aller.

I was expecting a hardware store, but it was a showroom. Nice setup, staff were very efficient and polite.

Le service est très bien et leur salle de montre est des plus grands et leur disposition est bien organisé.

I have got the old parts for my kitchen cabinet. I appreciate a lot to Richelieu Hardware to help me to get them.
They are a good team to find a great solution for your home and others places

Charge 97$ de livraison pour un petit packet qui contiens 50$ de poignées d'armoire. Aucun sens, valeur approximative réel d'un tel envoi au québec est de 10$, 15$ max. Aucunes raisons pour charger un prix démesuré a un détaillant de comptoir/porte/poigné qui est dépositaires de Richelieu et a des stand de démonstrateur de leurs poignées. Comment rire du monde.

Wow - this is a terrific company - we had a problem with a towel warmer purchased through Costco. Their response was amazing and the issue resolved very satisfactorily. Thank You!

Ceux et celles qui travaillent à la caisse sont très gentils entre eux autres mais avec la clientèle sont très à l'offence et 0 symaptisme les deux filles elles sont incompétente à la service à la clientèle. Ont est des clients et on mérites être respecter et pas être traités avec non respect! Si vous voulez faire quelque chose de bien éduqué vos caissières a bien servir les clients avec respect! Merci!

Belle salle de montre, mais arrangez vous par vous-mêmes. ATTENTION, si Richelieu fabrique des produits, la majorité sont des produits distribués de provenances diverses. N'hésitez pas à magasiner pour un prix décent!

Très bonne place tout grand ébéniste, plaçer votre commande 24 h à l'avance sinon vous attendrez longtemps!

This business is intended for professionals who know or have a general idea of what they need or want.

One of the worst places i ever worked. Got hired there through a placement agency. Before I can make my 3 months I get canned within 6 weeks. The super claimed oh sorry it was mistake to hire you, I am sending your position to Detroit. Truth be told in the department I worked. For my position they went through 20 different candidates in 24 months. The problem wasn't the people they hired it was the people in the department. It was all old bickering woman who did not want to take the time to help and always looked to make problems for you. Plus this company has the mentality of being separatist hardcore.

Underwhelmed.

This place came very highly recommended by number of people saying that they had all manner of items available. I came in asking for something that is really uncommon and non-standard. Fully understanding that the query would likely lead in further searching I approached the question honestly.

I expressed it was my first time visiting I expressed that the project was not fully developed and I asked one question do you have a resource that I can consult or is it you that I speak to? I was told that what I'm asking for is not possible and that I should have had a professional do the Consulting on my behalf and that I should check on the website because they have 130000 products there, the counter was not the place to do it. Basically suggesting that the service staff in the store was unable to help and that I should do business with them solely online.

The showroom is beautiful and can give you lots of ideas for home renovations but I don't think it's a place for professionals.

Une adresse incontournable pour les professionnels de la menuiserie charpenterie, ébénistes, cuisinistes, fabricant de meubles etc.

1 heure d'attente au comptoir. Finalement je repart sans ma commande. Impossible d'avoir un remboursement sur un retour, un crédit sera appliqué éventuellement mais on ne sais pas quand en plus de 20$ de restocking fee pour un item de 30$.

J ai commander des serrures de porte patio je ne savait pas que la qualité était aussi médiocre 1 clé sur 2 fonctionne les spécifications pour les serrures sont hors norme un vrai produit made in china

Grosse compagnie, n'a même pas des stoppeurs d'angle 86 degrés en stock au Québec seulement en Ontario. Déplorable!

Vaste de choix de quincaillerie pour les cuisines, entre autres, et bcp d'exemples d'aménagement d'armoires. Top!
